This location is so hit and miss. You either get decent treatment from staff a d so/so food or you get rude snotty employees and decent food. Every time i come to this location and i have to deal with "Nadira" (per my receipt) i leave with a bad experience. Shes rude, cuts you off and talks over you, and today she decided to slap everything on to the counter. I didnt even get to finish ordering because she was in such a hurry to get to the register. Any time ive had to wait on the food they employees would walk the food out to you when it was ready. Not Nadira. "HERES YOUR FOOD" drops it on the counter and walks away. Mind you there were no other customers... so being busy wasnt an excuse. And to top it off she ripped me off on my entree...literally 2 shrimp 3 pieces of steak and some mushy green beans was what i paid "premium" prices to receive. The 2 stars are for the cooks. This one we go to the food is fresh and for whatever reason if it doesn't look fresh they will remake it and you can ask them for fresh food their very good on customer service. You can eat really healthy here are really bad here depending on what you're in the mood for sometimes I go either way. Haha. We've eaten here before and it almost never has good service, but today March 30th we were missing half our food, and the lady taking our order couldn't understand us so we didn't get everything we ordered that we asked for, the window lady, tall and white, was rude, when I walked in to get the rest of my food they missed she rolled her eyes at my sight. The food is just not up to typical Panda standards. I don't think anyone working here really cares about the quality of what they are preparing. We ordered online for pickup. The process was easy. Two of us ordered the teriyaki chicken. After we got it home, we realized that neither of those entrees had the sauce. Honestly, Panda, either call it grilled chicken and make the sauce optional or teriyaki chicken and make an option to omit the sauce. Standard Panda fare. The food is good, not terrible, not great. But the service here was RUDE. I gave a friendly "hello" with no response from the girls behind the counter. Nothing. I waited for about a minute until one of the finally acknowledged me and asked what I wanted. I got chow mein, and then the girl walked off without saying anything. It looked like she was addressing an issue with the register. She came back and finished my plate and then started to walk off. Didn't ask if I wanted anything else. I had to ask for an additional side. Food was just sloped onto my plate without any care. My biggest pet peeve with Panda. Then not a "thank you" or other parting comment. don't know why everybody is bad-mouthing panda express? it is my go-to when i am on road trips fast easy hot tasty good food. the one in bend Oregon was great as was the one in Spokane Washington they seem to have a lot of customers and turnover which means good fresh hot food. Ever since my first visit to USA .. Panda Express has somehow managed to be my food of choice .. I mean whenever I don't like making a choice for food or cook at home or when I want to have some chicken with veggies or when I feel like eating at Panda Express :D .. Jokes apart, I think I have somehow connected with a few chicken dishes at Panda Express and that is precisely why they suit me well. String beans chicken, black pepper with celery, kung-pao on a few occasions and firecracker (when it was available on the menu in Feb 2017) are my usual entrée here. Sides mostly are the veggies .. because of the health quotient of course .. but sometimes the fried rice works well too. Beef broccoli on rare occasions is alright too. One thing which I have heard from people is that the serving of meat is not consistent .. say that mushroom chicken would have more mushrooms and less chicken .. to be honest, I have never noticed it or I have been rather lucky .. and also that I am a veggie lover .. so a broccoli or beans or mushroom here or there doesn't matter much .. so I am cool. (that doesn't mean give me just celery and onions and no chicken the next time .. well that is not cool :P) And have always walked in for a take away or eat right there .. no complaints with the in-store service .. none. Doubt if anyone could argue about the prices and if you do the survey on the back of the receipt .. you get one entrée free .. :) PS - I have waited in the queue on more than a few times and love to see them cook. read more

Over the last few months we have tried several times to get a Panda meal. On those visits we were ignored by staff. It seemed that the drive thru was the priority and not the patrons in the store. We left and ate elsewhere. We finally were able to get a meal today as the store was not busy. Ally...the server was not friendly. We asked for the bigger plate and told her that our order was for eat in. She ignored us and put everything in to go containers instead of using a plate. Portion size was well below what is usually served....miniscule in fact. When I said something to her, she ignored me.....again. When we went to pay she again ignored that we wanted to eat in and loaded everything into a bag. This was so disappointing.....we felt totally ripped off as well as ignored. It felt as if the staff didn't care about my patronage a bit. I won't be back to this store any time soon. read more

Unless this Panda location is the only food available for 100 miles.....do not eat here.... especially if you value your time. This location is more inconsistent than a politician keeping their word. Today my wife, son, and I came in to eat (Against my better judgement) and the place was busy.....but no busier than any other food establishment at lunch time.....come to find out they were busy because they are never prepared for lunch/dinner or any other hour of the day to serve people. We watched a confused staff try to catch up on meals they sold and they had no idea who was getting what.....it was chaos....the staff looked like deer stuck in headlights.....after watching the ninth plate of food get dished and multiple drive-thru orders we walked out and went elsewhere.....best decision we made. Enough about today.....let me tell you about how a typical interaction at this Panda goes: 1. They are always behind on food and never prepared. It seems you always have to wait for something to be cooked...... usually 15 minutes. 2. They can't seem to keep a consistent staff....or maybe this is a training facility...IDK but it always appears that the staff is clueless. 3. Sometimes even though clueless the staff can be polite, but usually they seem to not even care that you are there. 4. Portion sizes are never consistent. One day you get what you paid for and most others you don't. Forget about buying anything premium if you want to be fed....I don't get how you can charge an extra $1.25 for a lesser portion, but Panda seems to manage. 5. Food quality is rarely up to par....unless you happen to get something fresh after waiting 15 minutes for it. 6. Don't even think about the drive-thru.....with the food being so inconsistent you have to go inside to see what even looks good or to see what is fresh. If you feel like fast and fresh food don't come here.....you should go down the street and eat at HaHa's. You'll get amazing Korean rice bowls made fresh to order and at a good price. Today was the last chance for Panda....and if you made it through this review this Panda location should be removed from your brain as a place to eat on the Northside. read more

I am done with this place! Every time we go here, something gets messed up. I just ordered two plates (one three entree and one two entree), and one egg roll. We received two egg rolls, a two entree plate instead of a three entree plate and a one entree plate instead of a two entree plate. The rice was clearly not fresh and the food was cold! I picked it up in the drive thru and only live a block away. I called the number on the receipt several times but it always said the number was busy. Paying $23 and only getting a partial order and it being old and cold doesn't make me happy! They did make sure I got my shrimp that they make sure to tell you they are charging you more to have, and they don't give you the same amount as the other entrees th This is not the first time this has happened (at this location.) I will not eat at this location again. That is disappointing because I actually like Panda Express. Judging by the other reviews I would say who ever is running this location shouldn't be in the food business because clearly they don't know what they are doing! UPDATE So panda sent us a couple vouchers so we tried them again at another location. This time I went in and watched to make sure they put in all the food that we ordered. The food was pretty good however when I presented the vouchers the cashier/managers attitude seemed to change and was a little rude. If I could give no stars I would. I ordered a plate with the walnut shrimp and beijing beef with chow main. I get home and find out that they gave me broccoli beef instead. The worst part is that there was NO BEEF!! On top of the no beef with the broccoli beef I didn't order, is that they filled the bottom of one of my small food holder with noodle to "look more full". When I asked for sauce she threw them at me and the incorrect sauces as well. After checking the food the containers were not full. I may be the only person that has encountered a lot of rude behavior from team members at Panda Express at Northpointe but it has happened a number of times. The latest issue happened to me last Friday, May 21st. All I wanted was for the gal to put my rice and chow mien in the white styrofoam container and my entrees in the red pagoda containers they use. Did she have problems hearing me with the mask on or was it her day to treat customers rudely? I even complained to the manager (another gal) but all she said was "step over here" over and over. I halfway expected she'd open the door and kick me out ( and there I was dressed in a tux!). Instead, I left and they lost a diner that night. Normally, I would not rat on one location to another, but trying to find a manager to listen, let alone an owner is difficult. But the manager at another location heard me out and told me she'd relay my concerns to the manager in question and remind her that customer service can be the worst or best thing that customers like me remember. I said thanks and that I would try again today and see what happens. I might not be able to dine in person because of the situation but I still can come in and order for takeout. And that customer service is very important even now. I would like to think that restaurant workers would understand this concept but somebody goofed in training somewhere. This is my goto Panda Express. It can be a bit slow in ordering because it is a busy location and they will run out of popular items and have to make replacements. Especially for Orange Chicken which is a popular menu item. Still, I have no complaints about this location and have never gotten a wrong order from them. read more

Ordered 6 entrees online. No subs ...pretty straightforward..for pick up due to Covid and to give them enough time for the teriyaki chicken as we had 7 sides of it. Arrived when we were supposed to and picked up. Bags were taped shut so couldn't check them in the restaurant but I should have when I got in the car. Got home (five minute or so drive) and opened ip the entrees. Not one side of chicken had sauce and no containers of sauce in the bags. So received all entrees with dry chicken. Also ordered a plate with 1/2 chow mein 1/2 rice. Got about 1 tbs of chow mein stuffed under the rice. Most of the food was cold and had to be reheated. Gotta say this was very disappointing as we did not go during a rush hour or the typical lunch or dinner hours. Lack of attention to detail is very obvious. When I got back to the car I realized there was only one container in my bag so I tried to go back in at 10:15 and they wouldn't let me in, even though the sign says open until 10:30. This restaurant is so inconsistent. One time, you get a nice plate of food. Next time, you get very little. One time, you get freshly cooked food. Next time, the food is old and overheated. One time, the servers are kind. Next time, they could care less your a customer. When paying extra money for a plate of food, that they consider more valuable, many times they serve less of it than other portions. Or, it looks like it's been on the warmers for many hours. When customers are willing to pay a little extra for a certain food, they should be getting fresh good sized portions... every time... not once out of every three or four times of ordering it. My favorite place to go to when I need a quick bite to eat on my lunch break! Every employee I interact with is so friendly with a genuine smile. One of the managers, Sharon, recognized me after my second lunch visit as the "Petsmart girl" and asked if I had any personal animals and how I enjoyed my job. In future visits she would ask how my horse and dogs were doing. As for the food, it is always fresh and hot! Whether I've gone through drive through or done in, Ive never had an incorrect order. There has only been a few times where they've politely asked me to wait a few minutes for fresh fried rice or orange chicken, which I don't mind at all because the food tastes excellent and it is never more than a few minutes for the wait. The drinks are never watered down, and I always get a plentiful amount of sauce the first time I ask. Two thumbs up! read more

I have eaten at your Panda in Northpoint many times, but today (Thursday, March 29, 2018) I ordered the very small walnut honey shrimp and ate in your parking lot while waiting for an appointment. By six o'clock I was not feeling well. It's now 4 AM and I have diarrhea and am vomiting. I had nothing else to eat today except a coke. I live alone, and have not been around anyone who has been ill and up until this evening have been very healthy. I acquired Norovirus from Perkins several years ago, and this seems to be the same thing. I hope you see this right away. I am sure I got it from what I ate at your establishment.
