Don't EVER eat here! I never post a bad review unless it's well deserved. I've eaten at Panda Express more times than I can count at the locations in Reno and never had a bad experience. This is the second time now in about a one year span that I've made the mistake of eating at the Susanville location while passing through for work. It is absolute garbage. The first time I wasted over $30 on a family pack, my entire family wouldn't eat it, it went in the trash. It was like old soggy microwaved food, like DAYS old. Tonight I got an order to go, Kung Pow chicken and broccoli beef. When I got home to eat I found four pieces of old broccoli and TWO pieces of beef that I couldn't even eat. It was like old jerky. The kung pow chicken was awful, there was maybe five tiny pieces of chicken buried under a bunch of soggy gross vegetables. I have no idea what's wrong with this location. But I can guarantee I'll NEVER go there again. read more

The last 4 times I have been here they haven't had the food I want so I either have to change my order or wait. I dont understand why they dont make more when they see they are running low. I like the food but they have a real problem never having the food ready. read more

Ordered 2 plates. First one was black pepper steak, string bean chicken and vegies. Everything was horrible. The chicken was dry, the string beans were wilted and wrinkly. The vegies were basic. The black pepper beef had hardly any beef, the ones I found were tiny and overcooked and wrinkly. The second plate was chicken teriyaki, black pepper beef and vegies. We also ordered 2 cream cheese rangoons. We were asked what sauces we would like. We asked for sweet and sour sauce, she replied we don't have any. So we asked for hot mustard. We also asked if they might have orange sauce. No we don't she replied. So we parked and there was no hot mustard, no teriyaki on the chicken, none in the bag. We won't be back. read more

I'd never been to a Panda Express, but the locals said the Walnut Shrimp was the best thing on their menu. I have to admit, it was excellent, though lukewarm and only six shrimp in the serving. I did find one walnut piece. I will give them another chance with the shrimp and will try some of their other items. read more

We enjoy the food, when they have it stocked, but don't expect it to always be accurate. There is one employee there, Pinky, who has only gotten our order correct once and that was because the time before the manager had to replace my entire order because of her and when we came in the manager told her we were the ones who complained. I've had employees and a different manager tell me they want her gone but they aren't allowed to fire her and now apparently she is a shift leader. Missing teriyaki sauce twice on my daughters chicken, more than once missing items, several times sendi ng my string bean chicken back because the beans were shriveled with age and frequently having to wait for things to be cooked. Only gave it 3 stars because the food is good when it's made right and most of the employees work hard and try. read more

Poor service, huge spill near rear entrance/drink kiosk. 4 entrees empty at 6 pm! Server who was serving me kept leaving to attend the window. My meal sat in a box while others passed me in line. I didn't get my spring rolls, and even though I dined in they gave me a take out box. This is a crap store. read more

The service here is okay depending on who is working here at any given time. I've had decent service from certain employees, and there's one employee in particular that you can tell doesn't like working here or care about giving decent customer service. I've been blatantly ignored by this person, asked to repeat myself in excess of five time each time I spoke, and then not even asked if I'm eating in or not. It was infuriating and I almost walked out because I was so done repeating myself, then the employee looks away or ignores me, asks me to say it again. Repeat. The store is always clean, and well cared for. I think it should be clearly labeled that you only get like five shrimp when you pay extra for them, although the manager had no issue correcting me, it's actually "Exactly seven shrimp". They used to be a pretty poor Panda Express but it seems the last year they stepped up their game. The last few times I've been there they seemed to hit the mark. My only complaint is sometimes the portion size is a bit skimpy but it is Susanville. read more

Out of chow mein, rice was kind of stale. Half the entrees were almost out at 2 pm. I get it the lunch rush is our but come on. This is the worst Panda Express I have been to as a traveler. Bad service, they act like they don't care, they don't listen. The customer is not their top priority.

I love the sweet fire chicken. The drive through is fast. Workers wear masks and show respect for the health of others.

The food was good, but the service was not. This Panda Express has a drive though, which seemed great at first, however it took nearly 30 minutes for us to get our food with three cars in front of us. In that time our baby went from sound asleep to absolutely bawling. The cashier lady was nice and felt really bad about the situation and gave us a discount because of the wait. Done going here. Every, I mean every, time I have gone they are out of most of the menu items. I went last week, I wanted to get the family pack. The drive up menu clearly states the family pack with 3 entries and 2 sides is $29.00. I ordered the family pack and it rang up on the screen as $32.00. I told the guy it is $29 on the menu board. He said, 'well, inflation you know'. I said, I get it that inflation is a problem, but the board says it's $29. I asked him why they haven't changed the menu. He said they can't.....Humm. Well, I'm pretty sure this is illegal, or false advertising or something, but who are you going to call? The food police have been defunded. I should have just told him no thank you, I'll pass. Unfortunately, I pressed ahead and ordered. Couldn't get the items I wanted because they were out, as always. So, I ordered kung pao chicken, bejing beef and orange chicken, also fried rice and chow mein noodles. Nothing was fresh. The entries were all mush, really gross and just old, not hot and gooey mush. Chow mein was very dried out, again old and cold. Exact same with the rice. Dried out and cold. I also added 3 rangoon to the order. They were overcooked, dried out cream cheese and once again, cold. I went to Panda Express because I was tired of getting substandard food at Happy Garden, who used to be ok. Really, really miss Chinese Kitchen. Not well prepared or stocked. I came in at 11:30am today with 3 friends. We had to wait on broccoli beef, shrimp and orange chicken. Arguably the most popular things. I understand it was lunch time so it was busy but again they should know they need to have those popular entrees ready. Also they had bottled water on the menu but don't actually stock it. I was excited to find that susanville finally has a Panda Express. My mom, grandma and i came here for lunch, all the employees were very friendly and looked happy. They packaged up walnut shrimp for my mom and grandma after they ran out on the food line. Their order got messed up and Sarah went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy and got our money's worth. She was very sweet, she left before I could personally thank her for being so accommodating and giving us great service. read more

We are locals and my husband is a big fan of Panda Express (the last time I ate here, I got sick to my stomach later that day, so I refuse to eat here again). We use the drive thru, which is fast. The prices are reasonable as well. However, the reason for the one star review is that the employees are extremely rude. Each time we go there, including this afternoon, the employees opens the window and practically throws the bag of food at you, shuts the window, and walks away very quickly. So if you actually wanted to ask for anything else, you really don't have the chance too, unless you knock on the window. Then when you do ask for something, like extra sauce, or to point out something isn't in the bag you ordered they act very put out and inconvenienced by it, and proceed to throw it into the bag, with an attitude. This is not just isolated to one employee, its all of them! This is not the way to treat paying customers. read more
