Stopped in for dinner on a Tuesday while our Tesla was charging in the neighboring parking lot. The place wasn't busy. The food was fine; but there was only 1 clean place to sit in the restaurant. The floor hadn't been cleaned in awhile. Wanted to sit outside; there were 3 tables but only chairs for 1, which was occupied. There were 2 shopping center trash cans outside their door, which were overflowing. I realize this isn't the restaurant's responsibility but I do know that they can talk to the center's management about getting that under control. Not only was lunch delicious and the server super sweet - when i left, I forgot my purse. I noticed it 5 miles down the road. When I got back, staff had found it and stored it safely behind the counter. THANK YOU and the worker got a BIGGGG HUG. read more

Food was ok, noodles were not really cooked. Burnt wontons, but what really got my attention was the cashier. Older lady, maybe 5'2", as soon as I got to the register, it seemed that she did not want to help me at all. I requested for teriyaki sauce because no mandarin was applied to my chicken. She did so but made no eye contact, no talking, no engagement. The second part was when the total came up, did not tell me the price, just stuck her hand out, no eye contact, not saying a word. I handed over my card, she did what she had to do without a word, handed it back, and started talking to the next customer, made eye contact with him, interacting. It got me thinking, maybe she snuffed out that I was gay and probably does not like gays, maybe she didn't like the way I was dressed (jeans and zip up sweater). Personally, I am thinking it is because I am gay, I do make it obvious with my short hair cut and men's clothing with a feminine voice. We stopped in for some lunch and were pleasantly surprised by this location. Sarah greeted us right away even as she was working. She offered us a sample and took our order. We were already impressed with the clean location but were even happier as we ate our food. I had ordered the mushroom chicken. The zucchini was perfect not soggy and it was 3pm. As I'm nom nom noming, Sarah comes by to check on us. She didn't have to do that. I don't think she stopped moving even once. I know it's fast food, but I have never consumed so much MSG in my 46 years as an Asian American. They most likely use 4 to 6 times the average amount that you find in Chinese food in America. The music is too loud and the workers English is not the best and they are soft spoken, so when you order your food and they say "were out of -----, it will take 10 minutes to cook," you stand there wondering what is going on and wondering what your waiting for, because YOU CAN'T HEAR WHAT THEY'RE SAYING. Turn down the music and speak up. And move the menu to where it actually FACES THE CUSTOMER. That might help. Food is good. read more

Came in at 9, an hour before closing, and got a plate. Food looked dry and as if it had been sitting there for hours but decided too take it anyways. As I thought the food was very dry and most definitely sat out for a long time. The flavor was almost non existent and almost tasted bad. Such a disappointing experience as I love Panda Express. Like other Panda Express restaurants, most tables are dirty and we have to clean tables. Other customers do clean, too.

It concerns me that the food being held is not very hot. each of my entree items were a mixture of warm and cold, I voiced my concerns to the young ladies working behind the counter, both of whom looked at me like I had two heads. perhaps they did not understand what I was saying. I love it every time I come they have great customer service and friendly. Food is always fresh and super good. Restaurant is always clean. There are other fast food options in town but we always come back to this one because Emilio gives such great service and let's us sample any menu item before we choose. Customer service was horrible. While waiting in the front of the line the employee behind the counter somehow managed to skip us and serve the guy behind us. I've never met an employee who was so disgruntled and overall just an unpleasant person to deal with. Once we got our food ordered we had to wait another 5 min for the girl in the back to finish her conversation before she would ring us up. The server was rude! There was no sauce on the orange chicken, walnut shrimp was soggy, and the Shanghai steak had wood like asparagus stalks. No paper in the bathroom when we asked for paper the server rolled her eyes and said " there is a dryer ". I told her toilet paper!!! read more

In the past year I have been here twice its an hour from me as I live up near Lake Tahoe. However, this place is my favorite Panda Express the food is always fresh the employees are young but always friendly and have a good sense of humor. Which often you do not see at allot of restaurant chains. The place is always clean as a matter in fact always busy too which tells me that people really have taken a liking to this place. Yeah the lines are long you will wait for your food which is a given since their are not many places to dine at up near Truckee and Donner area. During my last visit an employee gave us coupons to get free drinks I was esthetic it saved me six dollars off my bill and that was really nice of them to do that for us. That is simply good customer service and every time I pass through Truckee more then likely ill be eating here! The employees here are chill and they always are helpful if you need or want something more. I like this place and more then likely all of you will too! read more

I love our Panda Express. You can get 3 entrees and a side for about 10 bucks. At Wongs, if you want a variety, you need 4 people and share, and it is 15 per person. At Panda, I can see the food, I will wait for fresh cooked food if they are at the end of a pan. Wongs is so inconsistent...sometimes great, sometimes trash...I know when I am eating hours old chow mien . For a quick option, fresh food, and nice service, Panda does a great job. read more

The Panda Express chain seems to have ramped up their overall quality in recent years, and added some spicier entrees so I give it 3 stars. I do find having only generic, meatless fried rice and chow mein on the menu a little frustrating. I find the Truckee location's seating a little uncomfortable and awkward (I have an overdeveloped territorial imperative) but not much worse than the average fast food joint. read more

Been here twice in two weeks and the food has been consistently dry don't know if this is Becuase the food has been sitting out a while but personally I like my orange chicken with a lot of sauce on it like what is pictured on the panda website and on some menus inside of pandas. The first time I came I decided to not eat, the second time I showed the ladies what the food is supposed to look like on the panda website and they made it for me. read more
