Go here occasionally and have NEVER had service like this. After placing our order, they were low on Beef with Broccoli so we had to wait for it to be made. A solid 15 minutes went by with none being made. I asked one of the girls when it would be done and she said sorry for the wait. There had been at least 5 other dishes made while our food got cold waiting. There was even a few moments where the cooks actually walked away completely out of sight. read more

Horrible. Ordered online thru Panda Express to avoid waiting in the long line. Order got here was missing 3 out of the 4 drinks that were ordered. All the children's meals were missing their cookies and barely had any food inside of them. One of the 2 plate orders was completely wrong. Made several attempts to try and call and no one answers the phone there. So now I have to drive there which defeats the whole purpose of ordering and having it delivered. Uh customer service kinda sucks. The food is fine but sometimes the chow mein is burnt. The cooks are all great by the most part but some of the employees at the front really need customer service training. They are nice but don't know how to be patient or cordial with customers. I worked in fast food so I get it, but customer service standards should not lower no matter how busy it is. Morals should be respected and although the customer isn't always right, they have the right to be treated well. I was very disappointed today because my all time favorite, orange chicken was soggy, it had the same texture it gets when you heated up in the microwave . I just ate two pieces and the rest went straigth to the trash. This is the worst Panda Express that I have ever visited. I live and work in Santa Cruz and normally patronize the Panda Express on 41st Ave or the one on Mission Road in Santa Cruz. Love the food! I have tried Panda Express in Watsonviile two times. Both times their service was terrible. Firstly, they had a line of customers and only one employee was helping. The other employees were just "hanging out." Secondly, the servings were VERY small (about 1/2 cup of rice or 1/2 cup mushroom chicken). Lastly, I ordered walnut shrimp and was told that it would cost me $2 extra. I mentioned that the price was listed on the menu and asked why they were wanting to charge me more. The answer was that if I wanted shrimp I had to pay the extra fee. I will NOT go back to Panda Express in Watsonviile. If I could give them zero stars, I would. read more

People are polite I have ordered in person and they get us out as quick as possible considering the volume of people they get. The only bad thing and I wish they would work on is a team to get the online orders dispatched in a timely manner and efficiently. There has been multiple occasions where I've ordered online and I still have to wait 10-15min for them to either fix an order or for them to give me what I've ordered. Every time I try to call in an order or make an online order they never have it ready or they don't answer the phone. Today I made my order at 7:09pm and showed up at 7:49pm just to have them tell me they hadn't made it. But that their system showed it was paid for already. This place is very disorganized and lacks the sense of urgency even when it's not busy. The manager herself was very unaware of any situation and lacks leadership. She needs to get fired. Also with some employees who i will not name. They already have a hard time making my food/giving proper costumer service. Why throw their names. Anyhow, When I arrived there was no line. When the orange chicken was ready they blatantly forgot about my dam order who was suppose to come in first before any one of those people. The manager even asked for my order and yet despite that she still couldn't get my order within a good time. Waited like 15-20 for something so simple. Look I don't expect fast service all the time but, at least give good costumer service. The woman cashier was rude and looked like she didn't want to be there at all. I have to say the customer service at this location has been drastically getting worse. I went in for an online order and my food was not ready at the time indicated. In addition to that, two of the employees were rude. My order was incorrect and instead of providing me with soy sauce the lady at the check out gave me chili sauce. I will not be returning to this location and will look for a much better alternative. Lastly, the food portions have also been gradually getting smaller. Very disappointed! My family was so excited to have Panda Express for our Friday night cheat day meal. Unfortunately, our meal was cold, missing several items, and our plates looked as if they were for toddlers. Talk about portion control! Customer service here is so bad that had me waiting 25 minutes for my food & when I went to check in with them, they had lost the receipt to my order & still had the nerve to ask if I could wait for my order. Very busy when we came in tonight. I tried the wok seared sirloin and shrimp, it was good but I wish I had more of it instead of chow mein. The kid Nico is really cool, he has a great attitude and he's on it! The biggest thing about chains like this is service! Can I give them no stars? Disappointed!! This was my first time at the Watsonville Panda. First of all, the line was long and service was super slow. Second, there was nothing to choose from, besides the chow mein and rice. I'm vegetarian, so my choices are limited. I asked for the tofu eggplant and they were out. So I'm thinking string bean chicken and scoop the chicken out, they were out. What pissed me off even more is that the Asian ladies kept sayin it will be ready in 5 minutes. NOT!!! They were just saying that, but the food was not even cooking yet. They would run back and start throwing in food in containers, so the cook can start. It was going to take more than 5 minutes. I decided on some shrimp and I only get 3 shrimps, two pieces of broccoli and about half a scoop of rice. I was also charged an extra 1.25 for the three pieces of nasty shrimp. This Panda Express was the filthiest I've ever visited, it was absolutely horrible. Dried food all over the floor, flies buzzing around, stinky babies screaming, sticky floors, overflowing trash recepticles. I'm not kidding here, the restroom was cleaner than the dining area, and there was diarrhea all over the outside of the toilet and wall. I couldn't bring myself to look at the food prep area, I had reached my psychological limit and had to walk before I blew chunks. Panda express is not so express after all, waited 45 min for two plates. That's what i get for not ordering from golden china. The majority of items were empty and the cooks just standing around instead of taking the initiative and start cooking items that were out. One employee came and gave the order to cook an item which they had plenty of. My chow mein was in a plate for 20 min then was told the items i ordered would be ready in 3-4 min, 18 min later and a few other items cooked in front of what i had ordered i finally get my plates. Panda is a good affordable eat but not at nearly an hour of my time. I get it there's online ordering but even then they had them waiting as well. They need better leadership at this location as well as more self driven employees. Its mainly young employees here but that's no excuse, if u take a job and are getting paid for it then live up to you're side of the bargain and give an effort. Customers should not be waiting so long for something so basic as employees communicating and keeping the kitchen running as smooth as possible. read more
