The food is delicious, if you like Panda Express, and the staff is very efficient. Now, the bad is that they focus too much on efficiency and disregard customer service. You will get your order but you're going to feel rushed and hurried the entire time you're trying to decide what you would like to pair with you Lo Mein or fried rice. Stopped in for a quick to go dinner. Haven't been to a Panda Express in years and was quite pleased. The service was a bit slow, but that was only because they were refilling entrees and sides with fresh cooked product. I ended up getting the teriyaki chicken, orange chicken and the chow mein. Everything tasted really fresh and the price point is good for what you get. They gave big portions for the plate sized meal. Will visit in the future to try other entrees. read more

I purchased the family meal and then decided to join the long line for additional food. I ordered a premium protein for my plate and Meat and Broccoli for the second item. I noticed that Dinora was serving more meat than broccoli to the person ahead of me. When it was my turn, I politely asked Dinora to do the same for me, but she filled my plate with more broccoli than meat. I kindly requested her to follow the same serving proportions as the previous person, but she engaged in a rude and unprofessional exchange with me. This experience led me to cancel my order. It's unfortunate that my impression of Panda Express Woodbridge was tainted by Dinora's lack of customer service. read more

I've been ordering online for sometime now. I love spring rolls so I often order one large thing of chicken spring rolls and another of veggie spring rolls. As you can see in my orders history, I ordered this way twice recently. About a week ago, I placed my mobile order again, I received a confirmation number, however, I never got an email confirmation. From the past few times ordering using mobile, I noticed it takes a few hours to get that confirmation email, so this isn't really a big deal. The confirmation notification in mobile also included an estimate of when my order would be ready, about 15 minutes from placing the order, which is perfect for me because it'll take me 15 minutes to drive up there. I also work from home almost 13 hour shifts and barely have any time to waste, so every minute of mine is crucial which is why I find this way to be the most convenient. Upon arrival at the location, the lady at the counter is always kind and professional. I gave her my name like I usually do, but she couldn't find the order. I opened up the confirmation I received from Panda Express and showed her, she pulled out a pen and a piece of paper and asked me to write the order number. She then took the order number, handed it to her colleague who was preparing other people's orders, and she mentioned to me she'll have to hand it to the manager in the office because they couldn't find it in the system. Couple minutes later, the manager came out of the office, asking to see the confirmation, by that time, I went out from that screen to my order history screen where the only option I had was to 'cancel' my order or to 'resume' my order. Which made absolutely no sense because I did not purposefully waste 15 minutes driving there just for my order to be resumed. She could see in my past history there's a number of orders, so this isn't the first time I placed a mobile order. She also confirmed with the lady at the cash register who was the first person to see the confirmation screen before asking me to write the order number on paper. Nevertheless, she proceeded to treat the instance as if I was asking for a free meal. I got the impression that she was under the impression I was lying about placing the order or something along those lines. I felt so insulted that I wanted to place the order in the mobile site again just to prove to her that I wasn't lying and this was their system glitching. At which she responded, I don't have to do that since I'm already in the store just place the order with them at the counter. Again I don't think she understood how that could make someone feel ashamed or insulted. Needless to say I went ahead and took her up on her offer, placed the order over the counter, and then left. The only reason is because she made me feel very small in front of a lot of people. After picking up the order, usually their spring rolls taste amazing but that energy was transferred into the food and the food tasted disgusting. I had to throw away a whole box of chicken spring rolls cause I could taste her treatment of me. I'm sure you have to go through extensive customer-service training to manage a place like panda express. While I understand the circumstances that led you to make the assumption that I wanted a free meal, that was still a misleading assumption and you failed to consider that maybe, just maybe your system wasn't working- as I have proven I have a history of placing mobile orders. Either way you could've attempted any retention efforts, to not make me responsible for Panda Express's mobile order not working the way it should. read more

First time I ordered from this location I normally go to the one in stafford since it was near my job. I decided to support my local Panda Express to support during the quarantine. I placed my order online. I called before placing my order and no one answered I just wanted to confirm they were open. I took a chance. I happen to arrive 10-15 minutes early and my food was already sitting out. This tells me the order was prepared as soon as I ordered. Won't do that again as I had to drive to get there. Customer service wasn't the best. I had no idea I was to just go to the area where all the orders were. I went to the online order area. I could have taken someone's food had I not been an honest person. I understand we are practicing social distancing but a random person can come and take your food. So I get home and open my containers and noticed I had extra chow mein I open all my containers and see my favorite item the chicken teriyaki was missing. I call again and no answer so I have to drive back out which I hated having to go especially during this time I'm trying not to go out unless I have to. I arrive and let the girl working at register know that my order was wrong. She translates (I'm assuming) what I said to someone else. Then I guess the manager asked what was wrong I told her I was giving an extra chow mein and not my teriyaki chicken. She asked if I have a receipt I show her and she says I ordered chow mein I'm like yes but you all gave me extra and didn't give me the chicken. She had an attitude and told the other lady to give me some. I asked what they wanted me to do with the chow mein. Most places would have told you to keep it since it was a mistake but they pointed me to the trash can. after this experience I rather drive to the stafford lovato support them at least I know they have great customer service. Not the best Panda Express in the area but since it's the only one in Woodbridge it's convenient for me.With that being said,this location is always busy especially around lunch time.Most times when they're busy,they have very little entrees left and we always have to have 10-15 mins on them which can be a bit irritating especially when your there on lunch.At least the food here is cooked good.Though the chow mein here I wish they add more flavor to it cuz every time I order some it's always bland and has so much cabbage in it! They are very impatient, they are always out of food (honey walnut shrimp in particular), and almost no one speaks fluent English you would think because they referred to one person to speak for them all. Which severely impacted our communication. Lastly, I do understand towards the end of the night most employees are tired. However it seems this is when they no longer have certain foods and become very unprofessional. Then to make matters worst, they still didn't get our online order correct. There truly needs to be some employment adjustments at this location, as there reviews are not that well already before mine was even placed. So I usually order Panda Express from Postmates. If I drive there I go to the one on Liberia in Manassas even though I live in Woodbridge because it is like night and day. At Manassas the staff is super friendly, they are efficient, accommodating, and the food is constantly fresh even when it's not busy. Plus they have General Tso's Cauliflower which is amazing. Woodbridge is ok for just rice and spring rolls when I'm not feeling well and use Postmates. Their rice is decent but it definitely needs hot mustard to make it good. So the last TWO times I ordered I personally called the restaurant and asked that they include hot mustard in my order and provide them all of my info. This lady that barely speaks English answered both times and says ok. BOTH times no hot mustard was included. Today I put in a special request on my order and in all caps write HOT MUSTARD. Again, no hot mustard. I wouldn't even mind paying for it if I had to! I'm so done with this place. Plus my last order included honey walnut shrimp which was inedible, salty, the batter had come off, and soggy, and my food was not fresh at all. Well since I was really hungry I ordered a 3 entree platter. Like I said a minute ago...I should have just walked out. I had always heard good things about Panda Express so I decided to give them a try on 03/01/2011 around 7:00pm at night. The nice lady behind the counter offered me some samples which I took to try the food. It wasn't bad but it wasn't "real" Chinese food. Not at all. I asked the lady what types of sauces they had that was hot and spicy. She replied "what do u mean?" So I pointed at the sauces there and asked if any of them were hot and spicy. She replied, "no, we don't have anything hot and spicy, we have orange sauce and Mandarin spicy." I said, ok, maybe she's just a ditz and continued on with my order. I order fried rice with 2 orders of orange chicken with a generous helping of the mandarin spicy sauce and 2 egg rolls. Price wasn't bad, coming out at under $8 with tax. I took it home and began eating it. Never in my life have I experienced a squishy egg roll. It was like the inside was filled with a paste. So that was a waste and tasted terrible. So I began on the rice and orange chicken, that should be good, right? Wrong. The rice was flavorless even with the supposed "spicy" sauce. I'm a huge rice lover so I was really disappointed. Now the orange chicken. Very, very rubbery. I ate half of what I ordered and threw it away because it was so bad. I don't recommend them to anyone. The atmosphere is small but I like it. Friendly staff and food is good. They usually have to make what you want on the run, but that 2 min effort makes it fresh and good. The Potomac Mills Panda Express is usually a hit or a miss. More recently this place has been hitting it more than missing it. The place is fairly clean for a Panda Express. The staff is friendly as well. They are fast in making the food and keeping up with the demand. The food is good tasting, but I do wish they could step it up on food quality. Ive been coming to this Panda Express for years and the foods always good. For the money you get a lot of food and its always tasty. I usually go for the chow mein (the rice is pretty bland) and of course the orange chicken and one of their newer steak options. Overall a good place to go if you want fast chinese. Its not mind blowing but gets the job done. One complaint is there were flies all over the walls the last 2 times I came. Gross. The staff is always nice here though so thats a plus. They must have hired the first person they saw off the street as manager, because every visit is a complete mess. The lines are always long, they're always either low or completely out of orange chicken, and the workers seem to have entitlement issues based on the attitudes they carry. I'm very surprised at the other reviews but they were last year and earlier this year so I'm wondering if that makes a difference. My son would eat their orange chicken and fried rice two or three times a week if I let him. It's one of the few Chinese food places that doesn't make me sick or give me a headache. I love the orange chicken as well as the mushroom chicken and zesty chicken or whatever it's called. Each time we've been in, they cooked food for us while we waited. It was super fresh and tasted great. There's been a wonderful lady behind the counter who must be the manager as we've seen her directing the other employees. Extremely disappointed with this location! Every time we order from this location the same thing happens. I always order the chicken teriyaki and they NEVER put the teriyaki sauce on the chicken! I always ask for extra sauce as well and again they NEVER include it. We order online and have it delivered and specifically state we are asking for extra sauce and NEVER get it. So I'm eating bland chicken over noodles. I tried calling to let the manager know this keeps happening and no one answers the phone! So frustrating and disappointing. DONE with this location. I would give them a 5-star rating but I'm not because every time I go there to get the firecracker shrimp, they always counting how much they should give. They will give you so much damn rice and less of what you order. The location in Springfield mall don't do that. I don't mind paying for more even then they still count the damn shrimps. Really?
