Generally, every time we come here, the food is pretty decent. The egg foo young is delicious, very reasonably priced, and there is generally a short wait time. Tonight we got some lo mein noodles, they were not very good. Almost felt like you were eating spaghetti noodles. However, I would definitely recommend because everybody can have a bad night, every now of then. we had carry out, so I don't remember what the inside looked like. Stopped in for carryout today, May 3, 2026. I hadn't visited since 2018. The ownership is the same, but much has changed. The dining area is being renovated into an unappealing open space, whereas before there was more cozy seating. The windows fronting Greenfield Avenue hadn't been cleaned in a long, long time. Service was friendly and quick. My chicken fried rice was noticeably salty, that was the overriding flavor. Zero veggies of any kind. No egg. Just salty rice and a goodly amount of chicken pieces. ordered 3 egg rolls - shrimp, chicken and veggie. All three were flavorless, and minuscule in the amount of ingredients. There were significant hollow spaces inside the wrap. My wife said her shrimp dish was OK. The owner said she remembered me. We had developed a friendly relationship during my many earlier visits. Panda Hut used to be my go to place for delivery a number of years. Food used to be always good. Today order Beef and Chinese veggie combo plate and egg drop soup. It looked good. Once I started eating it. The meat was a cross between mushy and chewy. The filling in the eggroll was mush and not cooked properly. None of the food had a good flavor. I have been driving past this place for a while so I thought that I would do lunch here and check them out. The place is still pre Covid-19 with all the make shift glass walls and food delivery window. They have a dining room that's not blocked so I don't know if dine in is allowed. I like to do a lunch special to get some rice and a main dish so I ordered the General Taos chicken with chicken fried rice and a pork egg roll which came hot and fast, pork egg roll was an up charge because the lunch special comes with nothing. The egg roll was a smaller one and average. The chicken fried rice had shredded white meat chicken and lunch special quality. The general Taos chicken was good and not super sweet like some places but small pieces of chicken with a lot of batter. Over my lunch was not bad but it's very average with no big flavors and I would probably go back for other menu items because the lunch specials don't always portray the main courses. read more

I forgot to take photos of our food, but we had a terrific experience ordering delivery from here recently! My husband always wants Chinese food, but I'm never in the mood... this time I was! we decided to try out a new place for us. I called and placed our order over the phone. This was easy and quick, as was delivery. My husband ordered "beef and gravy," which technically isn't on the menu but they easily accommodated the request. This is basically beef and vegetables sans the veggies. I went with the shrimp lo mein and decided to try out the fried crab sticks. We also ordered beef fried rice, sweet and sour chicken. My husband gave the beef and gravy a thumbs up. The crab sticks are huge! I wish they came with some sort of special dipping sauce. I used packets of duck sauce which did the trick. I loved my shrimp lo mein. The small is still a generous portion. This dish was not lacking veggies or shrimp which was great. The fried rice was better than I expected (not typically a fan of Chinese fried rice) although a bit salty. Panda Hut is in the area and we enjoyed the food, so we will be ordering again! read more

Can't say enough about this place, this was my family and I's go-to Chinese restaurant for the year we lived in the area. The delivery guy that we had 9/10 times was probably the nicest delivery person I have ever encountered, always apologetic if the food took longer than usual, always very smiley and bubbly. This place used to be really good like in the 90 S and for some reason it has totally gone downhill I ordered beef and broccoli and ended up with a whole bunch of broccoli and barely any beef. I think I could count on both my hands on how many shrimp I actually had in my large shrimp fried rice... Service is always good fast and polite though.... It's not a good sign when the front door is propped open. What a wonderful experience with all the flies! Yuk! Then came the beverages, everything in cans and no Coke, only Pepsi. Sir, I ordered lunch to be delivered to my office at 9455 Watertown Plank Road. My order ## was 20191 I ordered online at 12:06 PM and was told online that my order would be to me in 45-60 minutes. I waited in our lobby for over an hour for my order. I called and spoke to someone at 1:12 asking about my order, and was told that the driver was on her way and would be there in a few minutes. I called again at 1:34 PM because the order still had not been delivered. I then notified you that I was cancelling my order. I have never has such terrible service. You had my phone number as I created an account to place the order but no one called and I wasted over an hour waiting for the meal to be delivered. Thank you for your time read more

I have gotten take out for years and years. Food is average and it's on the way home. Time to start going a bit out of my way to a different place. I had the most disappointing order this past Friday. Normally, you get a separate container of rice with a generous portion of entree in a plastic container that is generally two meals for me. Friday, they combined the rice in the same container. Not only that, they filled the container about 3/4 full of rice and barely any entree. I paid about $10 for less than a dollar's worth rice. I threw out most of it out in disgust. Totally not worth it if this is their new policy. read more

Not exactly a trending looking dining area even before Covid, they've taken Covid protections very seriously by fully walling off the kitchen area from the rest of the restaurant. They're still working on the construction, but DON'T concern yourself with that. The food it top shelf. The egg drop soup isn't the watered down chicken broth you find at many of the Chinese restaurants that popped up and died over the years. It is a little thicker and always very flavorful without seeming to be overly salty. The crispy beef egg rolls are some sort of beef sausage wrapped up without the cabbage filler. The four pack is almost a meal in itself. The main dishes are excellent and I haven't had a single meal where I didn't enjoy everything. If you have food allergies, I'm allergic to onions, they will work with you on that but you must ask. Great family run business. I have gotten sick and my boyfriend as well. However, it is near the house and they let you order online. I need to stop ordering from here because it is close to my house, I am never very happy. The last time, the crab rangoons were really fishy and weird.I have had a bunch of their dishes and they are all the same thing with a little different sauce. I give it a big "Meh". The lunch buffet is pretty good for a typical chinese restaurant. I work nearby and visit frequently.

The menu has a great selection, one of the best I've seen in a long time really. We went with our faves, pork lo mein and sesame chicken. Chicken had way too much sauce, not alot of meat and found a very small bone in one piece. Lo mein just wasn't very flavorful and loaded with mushrooms, which for us was not a good thing unfortunately. Everything tasted pretty bland in general but the service could not have been faster. We called in as we usually do, and they told us it'd be 5 to 10 minutes! Impressive timing but maybe they should've taken longer to prepare everything because it just wasn't doing anything for us. Also made me a little sick afterwards. Definitely won't be trying it out again. read more

I have been ordering takeout/delivery online for almost 2 years now and have had excellent food and service.

First time I orderd didn't get it right items, second time everything was just awful, they were so good 2 years ago. Lesson learned!
