First off ...the FOOD was OUTSTANDING, and deserves a 10 for quality, amount, and sheer delectability. However, the waiter was absolutely horrid. If you want to go to a restaurant where you get outstanding food but are rushed out before you have a chance to enjoy your dinner...this is the restaurant for you. The four of us were there for 40 minutes. Twenty minutes was spent ordering, receiving our drinks and appetizers, and waiting for our entree's to arrive, that left 20 minutes to actually eat this amazing mountain of food before our waiter brought our check and boxes to pack up our food and stacked them on TOP of our drinks. Now had the restaurant been full at 5:30, I'd have understood the 'bum's rush' out the door behavior. However, it wasn't 75% full and seating wasn't at a premium. My vote...order your food as a carry out so you can enjoy their amazing dishes at home...where you won't be shoved out the door. I've been to the Super Buffet Restaurant in Depont, it's way better. Panda Inn's crab puffs are not consistent, sometimes there filled nicely, other times they have hardly any fillings, they have these fake plants that have left over food on them, god only knows how old it is, most the time there's food on the chairs and on the ground, and I've only ever seen them use a water sprayer and a rag, the same rag over and over mind you, to clean the tables. While some of their employers speak good English, most of the time the cashier has a very heavy accent that I have to ask her to repeat what she said, over and over. Having an accent isn't a bad thing, but if your feeding English people, I think having a clear English voice is very desirable. And multiple times I've found hair in my food, and the noodles are extremely greasy, And they have had reoccurring health violations and have been shut down multiple times due to that fact. If you go there; Really check it out, see for yourself the food and dust on the fake plants. I'm pretty sure they don't really clean they're rug. They should invest in a rug steamer. If it were up to me, I'd through everything out, gum under tables is so elementary, I know a few unstable people that would probably put it in their mouth. They should update everything, take the fake plants out, clean their walls and rugs, and actually use something besides a dirty rag and water to clean tables. read more

I stop by here every week when I have to make my weekly visit for work. The girls up front are super nice and the food is great. It's not home style authentic, but still great Chinese food. And their fortune cookies are fresh, why is that so hard to find? Good fortunes too haha. If I ever have to stop working up in this area, I will miss this place. Have tried numerous dishes, soups, combos... food stays pretty crisp even after driving and hour and half back to Portland. Just put it in my insulated bag and everything is still hot and steaming! This restaurant is better than all the Chinese restaurants in Olympia. By far. However, it's pretty OK for Chinese food. My mom and I went there yesterday for lunch and I loved mine, she didn't. The low mein was flavorful and the egg roll was tasty. The chicken in the almond chicken was crisp and juicy, I just wish the sauce was the brown sauce instead of weird and yellow. The staff is always friendly and the portions are out of control gigantic. We eat for a few meals on one order. It's a great value! Ok, my husband loves this joint and suggests it if we are hungry and within a 10 mile radius of it. I'm ok, it's huge food, I feel unhealthy for a week after eating it but it is really good and the service is great, most of the waitresses know what kind of soup we want and what we like to drink....also they don't seem too put off when our children throw rice all over the floor...nothing a big tip can't help smooth over. All the typical American Chinese food and insane bang for your buck. Bring the whole family....the place is large and can accommodate groups of all sizes. read more

Greasy spoon! I ordered #3, orange chicken and a side of deep fried shrimp. It was all hideous! It was a to go order and by the time I got home with it everything was grease soaked with grease dripping off the shrimp. The batter used for the shrimp was hard and greasy so I pulled the coating off and guess what! The dough was gummy on the inside and the veins still in the shrimp! GROSS!! They had not been cleaned and the shrimp was the size you would put in a salad. Forget the large servings and serve edible food! Filthy disgusting dive! It has been a few years since I have eaten there, it must be new owners/management. Warning: do not eat there unless you like throwing your money away. I live 30 miles from there or I would have returned their garbage to them! read more

The service was good at first but we had to go find the waitresses a few times. Food was meh. First off, we found a piece of black plastic in our soup, the kung pao wasn't in the least bit spicy, the almond chicken was soggy, and everything in general was just lacking in flavor. Wish we lived closer, cause where I live we have 2 Chinese food places and they are a joke, oh their food is OK, however paying $10 for simple pork fried rice makes the drive to Centralia so, so worth it and they give you so much food you can make 2 meals out of it easy....yea!! read more

This is my go to for Chinese food because unfortunately it is the best in Centralia area and it is close. They have a new cashier and she was very nice and friendly. I get food 1+ times a month most of the time with long periods of not going in between because it is highly inconsistent. Sometimes the food is good/ok, sometimes it is not. Last night I ordered my regular meal ( it feeds 2 of us) and added egg rolls(2). Unfortunately this was one of times it was not good. The egg rolls were old. I don't not know how many days old, the cabbage/veggies in it were all but rotten. The fried rice had a very little bbq pork, a tiny amount of egg, no veggies and barely even any soysauce/seasonings. The rest of the dishes were good. I should mention that they never put veggies in their rice or the other dishes like sweet and sour. The broccoli beef or chicken, shrimp & snow peas are only that, no onions, carrots, water chestnuts, garlic... anything other than the name states. At times their food will be drowning in sauce and others it is gelatinases chunks in it from using old sauce that has solidified and been reused instead of tossed. I have worked in Chinese food restaurants in my past. Until I moved up here, I had never had Chinese food like this. Since this isn't an isolated incident of the poor quality, it happens every 2-3 times, I do not intend to return this time. read more

Funny so many mention the building itself...it is very big inside and they can fit a very large amount of people!! I have to say I seldom even think of the dining area as the food is so good and I usually go with people I enjoy having a meal with so the dining room is way down on the list of things I notice. Especially when the staff are so polite and watchful of your needs. Raise your hand and someone is there. That being said -- yes, the proportions of food should fill most appetites and taste senses. This is very very good American Chinese and the place in never empty when I have gone. Best of all for the shrimp lovers They have WALNUT SHRIMP!! Many American Chinese restaurants do not offer this and it is my favorite sweet tooth choice that I came to love from California restaurants. It is the place I bring visitors to and where my daughter is taking me to on this Mother's Day by both of our choices. It is certainly THE place I would suggest anyone try at least once if you are looking for tasty American Chinese food, I have never taken anyone there from all parts of the USA that did not tell me they would happily return for another meal. One of my absolute favorite Chinese restaurants to eat at. I always get their Orange Chicken with rice and soup and I always have leftovers for lunch. My girlfriend orders the Chicken or Beef Lo Mein and she loves it plus it works as we share plates since there is plenty of food to go around.
