Belton Panera has really upped their game. I'm fairly sure that that is due to the way that Michelle and her staff run the restaurant. They've implemented a new system with pick up orders so there's no more getting your order stolen by someone, I love the new asiago flavors, and the quality has definitely gone up recently on everything. I don't do a lot of reviews for chain restaurants, but I had a particularly good experience at Panera in Belton this morning and wanted to make sure to shout that out. Thanks again Michelle! Would have given it a 5, but they were out of rolls I had the half veggie sandwiches and French onion soup to go. I really enjoyed the sandwiches and added some cranberry sauce to it when I got home. The French onion soup was ok, but not the best. I'm used to the bread at the bottom of the bowl. This had no bread, only a little bag of croutons. La Madeleine's is better to me. Location is clean and has lots of seating both inside and on the covered patio. Drink station is nicely organised in a circle to make it quick and easy to get a drink without being in someone's way. Like most Panera locations come early in the day if there's a specific cookie, bagel or pastry you want because when they're sold out for the day that's it. We finally dined in and had a wonderful experience. Our food was ready when we walked in since we ordered on the app. It was exactly as ordered and ready on time. I feel like the quality has drastically gone up in the Panera world. My husband's sandwich looked amazing and like a small local cafe made it. There was no skimping and everything was fresh. Panera is my go to studying spot! The have the nicest layout with many different seating options. Their bakery options make great snacks and the cinnamon crunch bagel is my favorite. The silverware was kind of dirty yesterday and this was my first time ever having this. But everyone is always so nice there and I will be back! Also their coffee is pretty amazing too! read more

I got really sad looking buffaloes chicken sandwich! There was barely any chicken in it. It was like scramble scraped of chicken. The saddest part is I paid $20 for this meal (got a cookie, not included in pictures). I used to have a great experience with owners bread in New York City. I called back to explain what happened and Kacey MOD didn't initially answer but took the call and time out from training a new, inexperienced crew, and no drivers, to hear my issue and see how to make it right. These days it feels like customer service has taken a back seat, to everything for the sake of convenience, so it's refreshing to see there are still companies she team members who still have pride, honor and respect for what they do in this business, as I do. Everything. Customer service is not it. Every time I go to the counter they never acknowledge me, they are constantly out of items and are incompetent. This does NOT apply the older ladies that work there. They are very nice and helpful but everyone else has been so disrespectful and do not care about the customers. If you are out of an item once, fine, EVERYTIME I am there they are out of something that I want and that makes me sad because I've been to other Paneras that have been amazing. I decided to swing by Panera Bread before work. At 6:45am, I was the only one in drive thru and there were a couple of people on the inside. I placed my order and pulled around to the window. Their drive thru is easy to get in and out of. The employee was nice. I had to wait a minute for my Ginger Plum Hibiscus Tea. When I got to work and opened my bag, I was slightly disappointed about the over cooked soufflé. However, I was still able to eat it and enjoy the inside of it. The outside was burned. I didn't let it ruin my meal or my day. I would recommend them and give them another try. The next time I will ask if the soufflé is over cooked or not. read more

This Panera was terrible. We walked in and were the only ones there. 3 small women. We waited for the cashier to come up and take our order. We order 3 small Mac n cheese with water. The other girls had been to other Panera's not me. He shows me the card swipe and I swipe it then he says almost done. I get this pop up with how much I want to tip, 20, 30 or 40%. No other options so I pick 30 hoping for better service. After 30 minutes I hear a woman yell from the back to come get my order! I go get it, sit down and take a bite. COLD not cool cold, runny and the bowl was less than 1/2 full. With a tiny circle of bread on the side. I brought them back and said they were cold. She grabbed a spoon stuck in tasted it and said it Luke warm. Omg Happy Birthday lunch to me. Terrible. So glad I paid a 30% tip when I did everything myself! Never will be back. read more

It has been a while since I had been to this Panera. I usually like it because it is unlike any other. Unfortunately the issue I had was with the lack of management and oversight for the teens that were working here during my visit. I assumed that they were teens, although they may have been in their early twenties. However, the young girls that were working here had two other girls visit and sit in a corner table and chit chat between each other's shifts. Yes, some girls were getting off work and came to visit with the two other girls at their table, and after that girl left another girl, who was on the clock, came and sat a while, and would only get up when she saw a customer come in. Another one came from out of the kitchen and was loud and obnoxious with her "words of wisdom" she was trying to impart to her friends. Trust me, there wasn't anything wise about her take on life. It was particularly annoying to tolerate this because I had heard them lament about customers and, also, about their own personal woes. It seemed a bit distasteful and disappointing to have to tolerate this when no manager called them out. Literally the only one in here and took 10 minutes to get a breakfast sandwich. The bread hasn't been grilled/toasted. I have what looks like ham scraps on my sandwich. The yoke from my egg is making my bread soggy. My orange scone is a small blob. I love Panera. At other Paneras, my sandwich would be grilled with sliced ham. At other Paneras, my scone would be triangular, large, and plump. I was amazed by the atmosphere of this Panera. The chill hip vibes of hipster music really ringed my ears in a certain type of a way. The service was absolute . The food was impeccable. All we usually get from Panera are bagels and cream cheese. We have yet to have an experience an order that was done correctly. We are usually missing cream cheese or sometimes an entire bagel. My boyfriend was out running errands and was in a rush and grabbed breakfast on the way home - when we opened the bag it was missing 1 bagel and 2 cream cheeses that he ordered and was charged for. We eat at Panera very frequently. I have now been to this location twice. The first time my order was wrong and we didn't notice until we were out of the drive through. Just now we ordered two large orders of macaroni and cheese. They were both pretty much cold. There is no way they even attempted to heat them up. One was only about half full and very runny. I also ordered a cup of soup and received and was charged for a bowl. The quality control here is terrible. We will probably not return to this location. read more

I like being able to order ahead on the app and so far the food that I've had it's been pretty good. My favorite is the Baja mac and cheese which is their signature mac and cheese topped with pico de gallo and fresh avocado it's really good. You can get a large bowl by itself or you can pair a sandwich and bowl of mac and cheese. When they first opened a few months ago my son and I drove through a couple times and the service was definitely less than stellar so we've just avoided them. But recently my daughter wanted to go there for lunch so we went in and she told me about the steak sandwich that way and it was pretty good but I really love the mac and cheese so much I came back again that week. I ordered it online from the app so it was waiting and I sat down in the restaurant and started eating it and I had ordered extra pico de gallo but there was barely any on it and so I went back up and I was like hey I ordered extra and the guy behind the counter said oh yeah what had happened was we ran out of pico de gallo. I was like okay he said so we made mor and I said is there any more? He said no. I said well I paid EXTRA for pico and hardly got any. He just stared at me...i asked to see a manager who refunded the cost of the extra pico. I should not have had to "fight" for that...it should have been obvious. The coconut macaroons were hard and inedible...but at this point I was just not interested in going up and explaining that too. 4 stars because the Baja Mac and cheese is amazing read more

Back again with the same complaint. This time i gave my improperly prepared item back & they said they fixed it then gave me the EXACT same thing. I am at my wits end with this place!!!! I do not understand how it is so hard to just give a customer what they ask for??? I order the exact same thing day after day after day & get different variations of my order handed to me day after day. The quality of the food is great! The customer service and attention to detail at this location SUCKS. I am thoroughly disgusted by this & it saddens me that a long time customer like myself can no longer visit this establishment not because of the quality of food but because of the quality of people who just do not care to get it right. read more
