This location has taken a drastic nose dive into sucking. Dined in 2 weeks ago; the kid taking my order didn't listen at all and naturally the order was made wrong. I explain to the kitchen staff what it was supposed to be, and they still made it wrong, twice. Ordered delivery today; they now contract out with Doordash, doordasher couldn't read and delivered food to the building next door. Called panera; nothing they could do but refund my money, associate had to google the # for Doordash customer care. I am a loyal Panera fan, but this location was not up to par. First, what they got right: my order was correct, it was quick, and everyone was super friendly. What they got wrong: my Greek salad was inedible salty. I'm a fan of salt, pepper, and spice, but this just went too far. It tasted like someone dumped the shaker in there!! One of the better places in the area for lunch. Standard Panera Bread with a good amount of seating but way too small for the amount of traffic that comes through. I always order from the kiosk and they deliver your food to your table. They keep the place pretty clean and tend to be pretty friendly even with the crazy busyness that happens during lunch. read more

The gentleman taking our order was efficient and polite. Name on our receipt was 'Kristen' but that's sus. Wait time for food was okay. The food was not traditional Panera quality. At first the cheesesteak sandwich just looked like 2 pcs of bread. Upon further inspection, there was maybe 2 bites worth of steak, enough onions for about 4 sandwiches, and I didn't see or taste any cheese. The tuna sandwich had tuna at the edges to look full. However I think the tiny scoop of tuna was placed and squashed to spread out. The drink/condiment area was sloppy and was there supposed to be condiments? I did snag a packet of Equal but it looked like it had gotten wet and dried. Reached for another and that one look filthy. The dining area was messy and unkept. I know some of this is customer faults cuz some ppl are pigs. But for the amount of money charged on food, I expect more than baby portions. read more

Wow, went in yesterday to obtain bagels, and had to order online it wasn't allowing me to place my order, a associate of Panera came out and asked me if he could help. His name was Jeff, I cracked my window and spoke of what is happening without me being able to order online, he immediately took my order and I handed over a santized card, he was Ridiculously friendly and kind cartering to my request. He brought them back out curbside and said thank you and he again apologized for the inability to order online. JEFF was/is a wonderful human being and I am so pleased with my experience. read more

Well I put buzzer they give you on my table and went to get coffee, I returned to my sweet to find a poppy seed bagel with plain cream cheese... ok not even close... find the girl she is running around looking for Matt, hey that's me you must have my sandwich... nope wrong bread, send it back... few minutes later out comes the correct sandwich, YEAH!! We've ordered delivery twice from this Panera, and it was a disaster both times. The first time, the order was late, and they forgot all of our drinks. The food was also not hot. The second time, today, our order was supposed to arrive an hour ago and still has not arrived. It still says that the order is being prepared. No word from staff on why there is such a big delay, and no update from management or employees when it will arrive. We have tried calling about 20 times in the last half hour and they are not answering their phones. DO NOT GO TO THIS PANERA! For a chain I really like eating here. The food feels fresh and they stand behind their "clean" menu. I love that I can order on the app and pick up fast but now they have kiosks upon arrival and you can order from your phone to your table. So no more waiting in those crazy lines at breakfast or lunch! Service is good here too. First time at a Panera Bread anywhere and second time I had anything from them. Several of the previous reviewers rated the establishment average and it lived up to that billing. I ordered the tuna salad. While the tuna salad found on the bread was probably a bit above average the paltry serving size offset that. The tuna did not cover the bread, average slice, and where it was found it was spread about as thin as it could have been. Typical of most places like this the mayonnaise was plentiful; the sandwich is tuna salad not mayonnaise salad. To complete the serving was an average quality kettle potato chip. I am not looking for pig out quantities just a respectable amount of food for the price; I can save excess for later. My other encounter was with a pastry bought at the store and brought home. It was a bear claw which was better than most pastries one can find but that is not to say it was an excellent pastry. Beats vending machines and most packaged goods from the grocery. But like most of the food served at Panera it appears to have been made elsewhere in large quantities and shipped in; a process that guarantees mediocrity. I am often asked why I don't complain at the stores when receiving something that does not measure up. These stores like many other food establishments are staffed by very young apathetic employees that would rather visit with friends and each other than deal with customers. So I avoid the confrontations given the usual lack of adult supervision. Compliments to the young lady staffing the ordering location and cash register she was doing her job well. Soup, sandwiches and salads.....that's what they do so if you are looking for that then you'll be happy. They also have a selection of sweets but I go for the soup and sandwich combo. They have a larger than normal choice of soups. I'm a fan of the creamy tomato. They allow for half sandwiches too which helps if your watching your calories. They post calories too which may make you think twice about what you order. I still get the roast beef. If you head there for breakfast, something they also do well, grab a cinnamon bagel with hazelnut cream cheese! Just not if your on a diet. For stopping in at their busiest time of day on a Saturday the service was prompt and food was fresh and delicious. I love that they serve you now and it's faster then waiting at the counter. I avoided the line by using their kiosks which are very simple without the wait. I got the mac and cheese which was delicious and for a small was a generous portion and their cinnamon crunch bagel with hazelnut cream cheese which is amazing and I tried their hot chocolate which was also amazing! After a long night of imbibing and reminiscing, I set out with some old friends on a road-trip to upstate NY. We were requiring some coffee and/or bfast sammies and decided to hit Panera on the way to I-81. To their complete and utter shock, I had not been to a panera before. After they picked their jaws up off the floor, we dragged ourselves inside. The place was packed. Traffic flow coming in the doorway was a problem. Then, you have to pick a number, like the deli counter. Everything on the menu had artfully composed descriptions, presumably to hide the distinctly average quality of their ingredients. I got a breakfast sandwich and some espresso. Espresso was so-so, sandwich was all right. I probably wouldn't go back unless prompted. read more

We go to this Panera several times a month. The food is consistently good but this last time (2/17/2019) there was a piece of broccoli stem the size of a golf ball in my soup. Also for the third visit in a row, several of the order kiosks were not working. The pastry case keeps getting smaller/emptier, it seems like they are moving away from pastry to focus on bread and bagels which would be a shame. They need a bus person roaming the dining areas to clean the tables. All this aside it's still one of my go-to favorite places to go, they maybe just need better management. Update: for the third time in 4 weeks, the self-order kiosks are down "for maintenance" during dinner rush. If they are truly down for maintenance your tech dept needs to schedule it during the night when the store is closed. Only one person on the cash register with a line to the door, while the manager just stands there looking on instead of opening the other register and helping until the line is clear. Shameful, the food is always good and the kids who work here are great. Poor management will take its toll. read more

I keep trying to give Panera another chance and every time I'm disappointed. It was good when it started. Decided to try the flatbread pizza and when it was ready for pick up I asked for Parmesan cheese like with any pizza. The team manager Cheyenne M was quick and nasty with the response "you have to pay extra for that"! I mentioned that every pizza place gives you Parmesan with pizza and her response was "well this ain't a pizza place"! Nice customer service! She is right that this is not a pizza place because a pizza place wouldn't serve this $10 flatbread that was still cold in the middle. Don't waste time on pizza here. I have been to this Panera twice and ordered a sandwich with no meat both times due to allergies. Each time they put meat on it. Not only were my orders customized to have no meat but the second time I came here I specifically put "NO MEAT" in the special instructions. Sure enough when I unwrapped my sandwich there was turkey on my sandwich. I went into the restaurant to get a new sandwich only to find disgusting rotten lettuce on my new sandwich. Even after telling the staff about my turkey allergy I still found meat fragments on the wrapping of my sandwich which could have been turkey. The salad that I ordered also was contaminated with rotten basil. I will not be returning to this Panera. I highly recommend avoiding this restaurant for food sanitary reasons and also if you have allergies or specific dietary needs because it is not taken seriously at this establishment. There isn't really anything that makes this particular Panera stand out from the others, since it's a chain, but I gotta give them props for the newly installed queue at the register. Before, customers like me would shuffle in and kinda "clump" near the register and it was difficult to know who was next. Now the queue helps in getting the orders done quickly and it's much less confusing. As for the food, it's your typical Panera spread. They get my order right and it's the proper temperature (hot soup, cold salad, etc.) so I can't find a reason to complain. read more

I have eaten at this Panera maybe 6 times before but today was my last. First of all, I ordered in the app for "rapid" pick up and it took me half an hour to get my food and made me late to where I was going. Granted it was right at noon, I know they're busy, I get it. But the names up on the screen that tell you whose food is ready kept on having people's food prepared way before mine, even though mine had been on the list the longest. Regardless of that inconvenience, I was on my way after 30 mins. I get to my destination and pull out my food. I had already tasted the new strawberry lemonade whilst driving and it was good so I was happy. I get almost all the way done with my poppyseed summer salad when I realized a clump of what looked to be the seeds from the dressing stuck together. I poked the clump with my fork and it was not a clump. It was a BUG. A greenish, gray, oval shapes ladybug looking bug that someone believed they identified as a "cucumber beetle." The bug was dead and I was indoors in an interior room with no windows. I KNOW that bug didn't get in there after I opened the food and started eating. I was disgusted and upset because I really don't think that after this I'll be able to stomach that salad again, because it is very good. Then I moved on to my Mac and cheese. It was cold since I ate the salad first so I went to the microwave in the facility I'm at and heated it. I go back and sit down to eat it and find a HAIR. A HAIR IN MY MAC AND CHEESE. Right after I just found a bug in my salad 5 minutes prior. It wasn't my hair because it was short and dark and mines long and blonde plus my hair was in a tight bun. And no one else had been near my food. It had to have gotten there in the restaurant. I was really disgusted. Especially because I had gotten a muffin with a hair in it at the Carlisle PA location about a year ago AND I found a hair in the green goddess salad I got at the Mechanicsburg PA location. I didn't bring those concerns up with those locations because sometimes things happen, but today when I got a bug and a hair from this location in one order, I wasn't letting it go. I mean both of my food items (excluding the drink) were contaminated. I decided to call the store and the manager gave me my money back and I'm in contact with Panera customer support on twitter right now. I'm really blown away by this. I guess the bottom line is, I've now gotten contaminated food from all 3 of my local Paneras and I think I'm done with the whole chain. I have patronized this Panera since it opened, but in the last year, it's steadily gone down hill both in food quality and in cleanliness of the restaurant. On 2 recent visits I was told there would be a 25 minute wait because they were running behind. The second visit I stayed and didn't receive my order for 40 minutes while my friend received her's in 30 minutes! So we basically didn't eat together. My sandwich looked like they threw it together and the chicken noodle soup in addition to being just warm barely had anything in it other than broth. This Panera has taken on delivery orders and call-in orders in addition to serving restaurant guests, and it doesn't appear they've increased resources or space to accommodate all three. The tables don't get cleaned and the drink area is disgusting. I won't return. read more

Negative reviews for this location are accurate and are in no way due to COVID constraints. I have had several incidents of exceptionally poor service at this particular location. The staff is lazy and inattentive. To actively be more rude would require an effort on their part which they seem incapable of doing. During my most recent visit, the staff talked amongst themselves socially while I waited for them to acknowledge me and take my order. When they did they took down my very common name in the most wrong way imaginable. My order was simple and should have been easy to fill (plain bagel with cream cheese) considering there were no orders ahead of me. Again, this was not an isolated incident but a common occurence at the Camp Hill Panera. I am a tremendous fan of the Panera chain and hate that this location has sullied a positive reputation. read more

Ordered from this location for delivery online, and somehow my order got mixed up and I had a delivery driver calling me from out of state. I called and spoke with the manager, who did nothing but tell me there was nothing that she could do and was completely unapologetic. So, I called the corporate number, where I spoke with Ally. She said that the delivery person never returned with the food and had delivered somewhere else. She then acted as if I received the food and was lying.
