I appreciated not having to order at the kiosk. So impersonal and ugh, technology. Both of us ordered half a chicken cranberry sandwich and soup. Our sweet order taker let us know that there would be a 20-minute wait for our food. Okay. We ordered chips with our lunch and a drink. I also ordered a pecan braid. I didn't ask for it to be warmed up and she didn't ask me if I wanted it warmed up either. She put it in a brown bag and set it on the counter in front of me. Okay. We were handed a buzzer and away we went. Sister filled her cup with Dr. Pepper no ice and I added Pepsi to my cup. We needed to be a little strategic about finding a table. The grilled cheese was not a grilled cheese it was toasted bread with some cheese in the middle hoping it would melt. NOT A PLACE OF GREAT SERVICE (Much-Less the Foods) On 4-19-2026 I decided to use a gift card that was given to me on my special day. I'm not much for Panera Bread (PB), because I had bad experience before. I went inside to place an order (pick-2), and (from the order time) and to getting my foods, it took 14 minutes. When I double checked my order, it was missing the corn strips for the mexican corn chowder. The food preppers walked away and I had to wait for them to return so I can advised them that they didn't include one missing item. After all that, I double checked the sandwich and to my suprise, PB still cheat customer by only topping the sandwich with very little meats (chickens) and the rest, you only eating a 3 and 1/4 inch size of bread. For the last several times we have ordered Panera through Doordash they have yet to get the order correct. Unless you have body cam footage, the staff won't take your word for the idea that they got the order wrong, so it's no use telling them. I am really disappointed with Panera. I placed an order for take out. Almost a 50.00 order. I get all the way home and didn't have the half of sandwich I ordered. I called when I got home and realized they didn't put in my bag. The manager wasn't very helpful. Besides me having the option to go back and pick it up. Which I wasn't going to do. Okay, it's really not that bad! The managers and staff there are nice. Sometimes when I come over the weekend I'm generally surprised at how packed it is. To me, Panera's soups and mac n' cheese are really good. Their desserts aren't bad either, I love their chocolate chip cookies. And now they also have the 2 for 2 promotion, and if you watched "The summer I turned pretty" their marketing team is definitely team Conrad which is a green flag in itself lol. I would have to say though that for the portion of the food, it is on the expensive side. They do have an app that gives out coupons sometimes, and that's when I use them to try different menu items. I think it's worth it for a light lunch or dinner when you aren't starving. It's also a great place for seniors to come by and enjoy the food too, it feels like a little community thanks to the great managers there. I understand the other reviewers thoughts and feelings, but maybe just go try and lower your expectations of it. It is a place worth supporting. read more

Tasty. Fresh. Healthy. Delightful. I had surgery recently and one of the advantages of Panera is that they are on the DoorDash service. A friend gave me a gift card to use during my recovery. I ordered two different items, the Caesar salad with chicken, and a 2/2 a sandwich and half a salad so that I would have two meals and not have to hassle with a separate delivery fee. I figured I could refrigerate the salad and have it at a later time. The only trouble with the app is that you're not allowed to order soup which I really wanted as Panera does have really delicious soups. Not sure why they limit Being able to order soup with delivery but there you have it. I ordered the barbecue chicken sandwich which was melted, and on sourdough bread. It was just scrumptious. I also had a half of a Cobb salad with the mixed greens, hard, boiled egg, bacon, tomatoes, chicken, onions with avocado. Really good just so fresh delicious but you do feel like you're getting really good nutrition with all of the fresh vegetables included. An excellent choice when you're recovering from something challenging like hand surgery and you can't cook! It's nice that they have this option to be able to use a delivery service for their truly scrumptious foods, although I was sad about the soup situation. When we got there, the place was super packed. I felt bad for the workers as they clearly were understaffed for the amount of patrons that were inside the building. No longer a Panera customer after the experience today at the Shaw location. The male cashier informed us the internet was down for the kiosks. That's okay, I understand technology issues happen. But the male cashier was unwelcoming and acted bothered by my friend and I while we ordered. However, Internet for the main registers was down as well. No cash, then no transaction could be completed. I wish we would have been informed of that beforehand. As my friend and I left, the male cashier and a female cashier laughed at us. Being amused at the inconvenience of others was completely unprofessional and inappropriate. In the event of such occurrences, the staff should place signage notifying customers only cash transactions are being accepted. Life is too short to patron restaurants that do not value your business but instead choose to mock and laugh at customers offering their business. I was hesitant about coming here since my daughter has celiac disease and it seemed there were not many options. As friends were in town and we wanted to go somewhere we could sit for longer, we gave it a try anyway. At first I was concerned because I asked the cashier for bc a gluten free menu and she said nothing was safe (although I had looked online and salads at the very least were safe). As we're attempting to order, I was looking at online reviews to clarify and McKenna kindly offered us the QR code to the allergen menu! While I understand people not knowing about gluten, it IS disappointing when workers don't know bit don't try. SO thankful to McKenna for jumping in and assisting! Stopped here while traveling for work, I've been to many Panera Bread locations across the country, this one was one of the less clean. The service I got was excellent, the food was prepared and serves properly, but the restaurant was not well kept. There were spilled remnants on every surface of the beverage area, it made me want to wipe down my lid before using it to cover the cup. I couldn't find a clean table, and after wiping a booth/table down I noticed lots of food remnants on the floor, in the pace between cushions on bench seating, and on tabletops and chairs. This place would do well to adopt some housekeeping practices. read more
