Its bread texture was similar to typical commercial soft bread offering with some visible tomato 'spots'. What make this bread a winner was the layer of crumb topping (cinnamon/honey/brown sugar) on top of the bread which became very crispy and tasty after it is toasted. This bread is a great base for an afternoon savory sandwich or to be eaten plain with extra virgin olive oil after toasting. read more

I had a disappointing experience at Panera Bread. My order was made incorrectly, and when I returned to the register to have it fixed, the employee responded rudely and told me I could "just keep the food" since I wasn't charged for the correct item. That wasn't the issue I simply wanted the correct order. The interaction felt dismissive and unhelpful. Haven't been to this location in quite some time, felt like it was going down hill. Gave it another try tonight as I was craving my go to Chipotle chicken avacado sandwich. I am giving two stars for actually getting the order right. I ordered a whole salad with some modifications no chicken no egg no bacon and that is the goddess chef salad I believe for someone else and I had the two items with the caprese sandwich and Greek salad. I appreciate it that the order was accurate it was completed and timely manner I ordered it online picked it right up went on to the destination great however I opened up those containers there were no utensils in there- my bad- I should have checked but neither salad container was even halfway full almost like they really lightly dusted some lettuce and and the rest of the ingredients in the bowls. I'm like the whole salad literally was the same size as the half salad. Not sure with all that is about but I need to make sure I'm getting my money's worth from almost $40 worth of nothing in that bag. I am lazy. Order from Panera quite a bit. The last 3 times I've ordered have been disappointing. The level or care with which sandwiches are made: different each time (despite being the same sandwich), unappetizing and frankly, nasty. This last time ordered 2 sandwiches. The steak and the toasted garden caprese. I customize: steak (double) was NOT a double portion and the garden caprese (extra basil, no tomatoes, cucumber instead). The staff is not great. They're inconsistent. Some good, some bad. I prefer to customize my salad orders which I have the ability to do via the kiosk. Put of a handful of orders, they got it right only once. I went in and spoke with a manager who made up for the issues. So the management actually seems pretty good. I really have tried to give this location numerous chances since it's close by. I just don't get why my order is usually incorrect. If you pay $7 for a breakfast sandwich, it would be nice to have all the ingredients that are listed. Dear Panera executives, This is unacceptable. Never in my 4 years of schooling have I ever experienced such a hostile and unwelcoming environment. I was peacefully minding my own business consuming Panera food product from this lovely (or so I thought) establishment. It was 3:40 pm and she claimed that there was an incoming dinner rush. There was another soul on these hallowed grounds. I am absolutely distraught. If she had politely informed us during the actual dinner rush I would understand. However, there was nobody there. When I walked by an hour later, there was still nobody there. How confounding! Furthermore, I was yelled at for leaning back in my chair. Mind your own business. The way I carry myself has no impact on your "restaurant." It is likely I will return. However. My husband and I went to Panera yesterday. I tried something new, black forrest ham and gouda melt. It was pretty good, but I wanted to taste more gouda. The taste seemed to blend, and the mustard was a little overwhelming. The service was very friendly as always. It was busy however, the seating was very comfortable as well. So excited that this Panera opened up right by my house! I heard the news and had been waiting for the day they would be open. This is one of my favorite places to go grab breakfast lunch or dinner. They always have fresh and delicious creations. I walked in today and there were employees everywhere and ready to help! Very attentive to their customers. They had some free sampling for you to try out on the counter as well as handed out a free pick two for one a month for a year!! I ordered the iced vanilla cold brew and this is so yummy! No butter notes. Very smooth and not burnt. Really enjoying this cold brew! I also got a sesame bagel with strawberry cream cheese. They sliced and toasted the bagel for me and then you get a pack and knife to cream your bagel. The bagel tastes fresh and crispy. I will definitely be back and excited for this new location. read more

The customer service here is absolutely unacceptable. They need a new manager that has more than three brain cells. Every single time I come here, they kick me out SECONDS after I finish my food. Specifically, one entitled employee whom is clearly just constantly looking for reasons to kick people out. Today was the last straw for me, as I, one of the only three customers, was sitting outside drinking my tea. I was about halfway done when she came outside and spoke to me as if I am a child, telling me to get out. Displeased and disappointed, I looked around only to see that every single table was depressingly empty. She then stood and stared at me uncomfortably as I packed up and left. This store was amazing when they 1st opened. I would have given them a 10 star back then. I really appreciated winning the year long pick 2 for 2 deal (One free meal for each of us 1 time per month) from being ine of their very 1st customers. But unfortunately 3 mo after they gave us that deal, we were put on lockdown due to the pandemic and I was extremely fearful to go out to irder food. When I finally began using them it was the end of 2020 (close to exp date). And even though the store I got it from (Ygnacio Vlly) said "there will be no exp date due to the pandemic", several stores (Brentwood especially, then once at Diamond Blvd, & even several times at Ygnacio Vlly) gave me a massive migraine about using it after 2020 exp. "Funny" math at this Panera! I did a curbside pickup a couple of weeks ago. My order was small: half dozen bagels and six decorated pumpkin cookies. I specifically wanted the pumpkin cookies for my Halloween treat bags. As far a on-line ordering goes, Panera is "middle of the road." I've used easier websites and some that were much more cumbersome to navigate. I drove to Panera at the arranged time, parked in a pickup spot, and let them know I was waiting. Soon a young man appeared carrying a tray which held my sealed bag. Sealed bags are a newer feature at Panera and a good one. However, something told me that I should check my order. I asked the server to wait while I checked the order. The bagels were on top; all accounted for. Then I saw a small bakery box. It didn't look like it could hold six cookies. Sure enough it held just three. I asked where the other three were, thinking perhaps a box had been left out of the bag. The young man said they were out of those cookies -- I had the last three. My sales slip said I had paid for six. He said I could have three of a different kind and that they would be FREE. I begged to differ. If I chose three other cookies, they would not be free since I had already paid for them. This seemed to go right over his head. To him they were free. He rattled off my options. I made my choice, got my "second choice" cookies and was soon on my way. My earlier curbside experiences at Panera (Bancroft and Treat site) have been fine. So I was disappointed with the experience here. I will continue to use curbside during the pandemic -- knowing I will always have to doublecheck my order. read more

Chipotle chicken with bacon had a decent amount of topping, maybe a tad salty for me. Margharita pizza was very good, just would have like a bit more cheese on top. The Turkey chili was very good. Reminded me of the consistency of my favorite Wendy's chili - good seasoning, garbanzo and kidney beans, not thick, good Turkey meat. I am so over this location. I have given them 4 tries to get my damn order right so I give up! Salads with no dressing. Wrong salad instead of getting Asian sesame we got a Greek salad. My husband even asked if the Asian salad had the dressing this time. The employee looked and said yes it's there.
