    Chocolate croissant

Ambiance inside was really nice, i loved the self serve monitors, my chipotle chicken avocado sandwich was amazing, so was the mozzarella baguette, however the chocolate croissant was good, but it was hard and cold as if it was pulled out of the refridgerator, the mac and cheese was watery and was lacking flavor, and for about $6-7 it was a super small portion

Welcoming Panera Bread to Cutler Bay as the hot new lunch spot for locals, visitors and the business community! This location is excellent, just off of South Dixie Highway in the Point Royale Shopping Center it's super accessible. Complete with outdoor dining and a drive thru, they designed this location for literally all walks of life. The inside is bright, warm and welcoming with tons of natural light and plenty of open seating. When I visited it was day 3 of opening week and it was pretty packed with people, but I was amazed at how awesome the service was and how quickly my food was prepared. I ordered a half sandwich and soup with chips, papaya green tea and a chocolate chip cookie. Everything was delicious, per usual. During my meal, the managers came around and asked all the customers if they were okay and satisfied with their service and food. It was a great touch and hopefully an even better sign of things to come for the brand new Panera Bread location.

For me, their best is the rabo encendido (ox's tail) with mashed potatoes and salad as sides. The staff is nice, they work hard and are always at your service, and the location, while small, doesn't feel crowded or noisy. The parking is a bit of a challenge because it doesn't allow for many cars and it is shared with other three stores, but it's usually sufficient.

The vaca frita here tastes really good, but all and all its nothing special, some pieces were tough some were very tender. The vaca frita was cut in big chunks, I would have liked it a little more shredded.I also had rice and beans sweet plantains and French fries. The fries were the best, nice thick crispy and crunchy, the plantains were OK, the rice and beans were pretty standard. The ambiance was nothing special at all. I ordered to go so I didn't receive any service, but just an FYI because they will not disclose this information with you when you order takeout they charge you an extra $.35 per item. That is WILD! I saved my bill so you can see it. I'm wondering if they do the same on door dash. I will continue my quest to find the best vaca frita in south Florida.

With that being said... I was excited to maybe find a decent Pho place here in Miami and by the reviews and pictures, figured I'd give Miss Saigon a try. So gross. The noodles were waaayyy over cooked (and did arrive separate from the broth, so it wasn't an issue of the broth continuing the cook en route) and thus they were about 3-4 inches long. Not the long pull and chewy goodness I expect from pho. But okay, pho is about the broth and the meats. I got the pho Miss Saigon (meatball, lean flank, brisket and tendon) but it also had tripe, which I really dislike. The meat was the problem. It tasted like play-dough. The broth, I could tell before even adding it to the noodles, was bland (the color was watered down apple juice, NOT the rich, umami dark brown/amber color it should be) and lacked the aromatics and complex flavors that makes pho pho. But it tasted like play-dough. The noodles, the meat, it all just permeated a play-dough taste. I hate wasting food so I tried to force feed myself as much as I could but after spitting out 3 mouthfuls, I just threw it away. Because it tasted like play-dough. Also, the broth leaked and spilled all over the plastic bag it came in, so I had to first siphon as much broth out of the plastic bag and into the soup bowl as I could before I could even eat it. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. YUCK.
