    What's I was expecting
    Thomas A.

What I was expecting VS what I actually got I'm very disappointed In this $12 bowl. I guess this is the reason why it's becoming more of a chain like McDonald's than an actual healthy choice

It's that good w no guilt feeling after!

The prices for what they give are ridiculous.....14.99 for a roast beef and cheese sandwich with one slice of roast beef? Never again.

They got rid of all the good stuff they had. No more BBQ chicken salad no more Italian sandwich and cheese danish.

I am Vietnamese and I had a very disappointing experience with this place. First of all, the host/…read morecashier was rude to me when I tried to talk to him when I first came in. He also pushed me to pay with credit card even though I wanted to pay cash. Getting to the food - I got bun bo hue, pho, and egg rolls - I am Vietnamese and I've gotten takeout from places countless times. You are ALWAYS supposed to separate the bean sprouts and mint and lime from the dish. Those are supposed to be optional for the customer. THIS PLACE COMBINED THE NOODLES WITH THE BEAN SPROUTS AND LIME!!! You are not supposed to do that! You are always supposed to package them separately. On top of that, the pho broth lacked a lot of depth of flavor. Also, pho is supposed to come with tripe, eye of round, beef ball, which this pho had none of. Bun bo hue is supposed to be spicy and have pig blood, which this one didn't. It was also not flavorful and was just lacking. The egg rolls also did not taste right and the fish sauce was off. I'm very disappointed with my experience here. This is not an authentic Vietnamese restaurant in Long Island.

My niece is home for Summer recess and she said for her birthday she'd like to go to her favorite spot, The Rolling Spring Roll. I've been to this location before and ordered the Banh Mi sandwich, it's always my go to at any Vietnamese restaurant. I had plans to order the same sandwich but my other niece said I should try her favorite, the Angus Beef Short Ribs platter. I'm into a new dish, sold! I ordered the Angus Beef Short Ribs platter with vermicelli noodles. For the table we ordered the famous Shrimp Spring Rolls as well as chicken wings. Both dishes came out fast, very fresh and enough to share. I guess there was a mix up in the kitchen, My rib platter came with rice and my sister in laws dish had the vermicelli noodles. Not a big deal, I didn't feel like swapping items. The Short Ribs had a terrific marinade and they were grilled to perfection. This was a nice treat to eat. I was noticing the other customers, they are all just in the zone getting their Rolling Spring Roll fix. This is more of a casual eatery, like a pizza place. Zip in and zap out, no tablecloths at this spot. Overall, everyone enjoyed their food. My niece was happy so that makes me happy. I would love to try their Vietnamese coffee!

The make a tasty cheesesteak, with lots of toppings to choose from like the standard onions and peppers to eggs and cherry peppers. They also make a variety of fries that have different toppings like cheese or chili. They give a good amount of fries and I always feel like au get value here. The service is quick and easy, order at the window and wait about 10 minutes to get your food. They've been in Commack for a while and it's easy to understand why.

They also have 5 other locations across Suffolk County & 1 in Queens. The restaurant is small with just enough dine in seating for about 12 customers. Service was excellent from the start of ordering our meals to an employee bringing out the food to our table. We asked the cashier for recommendations to try, and we were not disappointed. We got 2 of their combos, which comes with your choice of any cheesesteak, fries (or other side), and a free drink. We opted for their best seller cheesesteaks- the Chiddy's Signature and Citi Fielder. The Citi Fielder was your traditional cheese steak with just meat, onions and whiz. The Chiddy's Signature included onions, peppers & mushrooms with a mix of provolone and whiz. Both cheesesteaks were cooked to perfection with amazing flavor enough to compete with any original cheesesteaks from Philadelphia. You can satisfy your cheesesteak cravings without making the long trip to Philly by going to a Chiddy's location in NY. We also got a large homemade chili and mozzarella sticks to snack on for later. The chili was flavorful & cooked to perfection with a little spicy kick to keep your taste buds guessing. A good chili usually has more meat than beans, which should always be the standard & that's what they got here. One downside is not having crackers to go with the chili, but the flavor makes up for that. The mozzarella sticks were crispy & cheesy, but there was no dipping sauce to go along with them. Either way, highly recommend.
