This was the worst experience at this location. The order was cancelled and no one was informed.

20 minutes for a godforsaken tuna sandwich and two bowls of soup, with approximately 2 people on line ahead of me. I don't know which was worse: the dumb ass server/counterperson who had her head down against the takeout counter as if she had just run the Boston Marathon. Or the kitchen staff who did nothing but scream at each other in 4 different languages, while not preparing any orders. The food is consistent here however the service has changed dramatically. It used to be nice to come here everyone was really nice and happy to be do their job. Panera is what we thought it was. Good food, but small portions and slightly overpriced however sometimes it's the best fast food option you can find that won't put you immediately in a heart attack. I happened to swing by here recently per my sister's request to pick up a pair of soups for her stay at the hospital. I was halfway home before I started smelling that the bag didn't smell anything like what I had ordered. I pulled over and of course it was someone else's order. This place is on route 17 so I was pissed because I knew I was going to have to make like 7 u-turns to pick up the right order and bring it back. When I returned, the manager apologized and gave me the order I had already been hauling around for 20 mins for free and explained that there was another "Anthony" that had ordered before me. That got me thinking...Panera really has a stupid system there. Most places use a unique number to identify an order instead of a name to avoid exactly this. I mean my name isn't Hezekiah, it's Anthony, which I looked up and happens to be the 11th most common US name. What if my name was Mike or John? Mary for the ladies? This must happen all of the time. Now granted, I suppose I should have double-checked the order but you're not running a mom and pop shop, it's Panera. C'mon man! Also, I always wanted to study here and couldn't because their WiFi always sucks. Don't offer internet if you can't support more than 3 laptops on the same slice of bandwidth. read more

I do not give bad reviews for a restaurant but I think this restaurant has to realize the quality & service has gone down considerably. I am a business owner & would want to know if my staff was not performing properly or let management know they are not doing a good job. All tables were dirty which we cleaned our own. I did not see any staff member going around cleaning the tables while we had our lunch (approx 30 minutes). My husband & I have been coming here for years & definitely see the change. My husband's chicken sandwich had NO chicken & mine had very little. My husband asked for a new sandwich. He got chicken on his new sandwich but only 1 very small piece of cheese not 2 nice size pieces of cheese that was on his NO chicken sandwich. I would think the staff should be trained to make the sandwich portions the same every time. We may give this location one more chance but will discontinue if we don't see an improvement. read more

I ordered the soup/sandwich deal, well it was nasty. I got the ham and swiss sandwich, well the ham looked like someone already chewed it and spit it back out, the swiss did not look like swiss and the bread was soggy. Very sloppy. One of the better Panera that I've been to. I have to admit: I'm one of the lame people that hoarded the free wifi for 5 hours when I was in the area. I stayed in the corner, I promise! No one bothered me since I constantly had food in front of me. Because it was a random Mon, there was still plenty of space during the lunch rush. The food is on point, and the baked goods were better than other Panera that I've been to. Baguette dipped in Chicken Noodle Soup is still my measuring stick, and it was fan-freaking-tastic. read more

This is the most disorganized establishment. So frustrating, staff is never prepared, especially in the early am! Don't bother using the rapid pick up feature on the app because the order is never ready when specified, you still have to wait. In fact don't bother going there at all! I've seen them more than once let customers who don't bother to place a catering order clear out there inventory and then tell the customers who remain that they aren't replenishing because they don't have the staff nor the ingredients to make more? Good quality food, the broccoli cheddar soup is thick but really good, even better in the bread bowl. Free WiFi and lots of drink options, good place to go if your a student. They have a large menu to choose from and occasionally changes seasonally. Great spot to just hang out and relax, if you're lucky enough you'll get to sit on the comfortable recliners or booths. read more

Went to this location 2 times on vacation while staying at the Hilton for starters the cashier Rachel needs to be trained in customer service both days I went in the morning she was extremely rude and one customer while we were in there tried to order a soufflé but they said once the run out they don't make anymore. Went to buy a take out lunch from Panera. We ordered 2 tuna fish salad sandwiches on honey wheat bread with the works(Jersey Term), 1 New England Clam Chowder and 1 large Mac & Cheese. The sandwiches were delish but could have used a little more tuna, the New England Clam Chowder was right on the mark and the Mac & Cheese was ok. Panera is more than just a good place to get a sandwich, salad or soup. For many, it doubles as an office space or a conference room. Sometimes you need to leave all of the distractions in your house to get some work done and panera is a great place to do it. The coffee ain't too shabby either. I just wish they would stop giving me free pastries on my panera club card - my will is not strong enough to avoid the chocolate temptresses. read more

I was here last night almost before closing time to pick up some chicken noodle soup. When I walked in there was no one in line so I figured this would be quick. It took about 3 minutes to be seen or asked to order even though it looked like some guy in a dress shirt was standing behind counter, maybe manager, and no one acknowledged me. Finally the girl came up to me and took the order nice and simple. The worst part happened in the next 2 mins. A gentleman preparing my soup was chatting up with some girl, loudly, which I don't care about but then when my soup was ready he just Plopped it up on the counter and didn't say a word to me. Not "Here you go" or thanks for waiting or enjoy. No acknowledgment of me or my order being ready. Today I came in around 630pm so hours earlier and I was greeted quickly and the girl handing out the food is polite and sweet to everyone and having a great time. So today was tiers above last night. Amazing what a few hours difference makes. If you are open you are still in the customer service business. Shouldn't matter what time I show up. Food was really good as always. read more

OK I have been long time delayed at trying a Panera bread. I finally came in here with a couple of girlfriends for an after shopping snack. I ordered some sort of Turkey sandwich (half) and was completely happy. The food was very tasty. The service was fairly pleasant. They even gave me a cup for water without making a face. My friends and I agree that we will be back to this place for gfair prices and good food. read more

Service is very good and attentive. Love their bread, it is fresh hot. Soups are good as well. So you get put the good bread with the soups and sandwiches, it is a great combination and it will fill your belly. Good for quick meal and fills your tummy. read more

Sept 2012 - really a 3 1/2 star place Context: we ate here four times in five days from a weds-sun at various times of day both eating in and taking to go. Atmosphere: typical panera. You walk in and order at the counter, wait a few minutes and then take your food to a table. The place is not large and tables are spread throughout the place. This place is all tables, no comfy options, and is bustling but never a long line at the times we came. Service: we've eaten at many other panera and I would say that the service here was average but without the usual helpfulness I associate with panera. Several times they didn't bother asking if we had a panera number. And the cappuccino makers were wildly divergent with an inedible one with one order and an okay one with the next. Food: diverse response to the food. Cappuccino was not a good choice here, even the best one was average at best. Smoothie, a mix of yogurt and wild berries was far too sweet but otherwise good. Croissant was one of the worst I've ever had, airy and dry and almost like some kind of weird croissant shaped air filled wonder bread. The chocolate babka was hard as a rock, the first piece cut from the cake, but after heating at home was quite good. The sugar cookies pumpkin shaped were wonderful, buttery with a light orange tasting not to sweet frosting ( they were out of these one evening, and we would have appreciated a rain check for the .99 add on deal, but that wasn't offered). The. Mac and cheese is the velveta-like version but not horrible, smooth, creamy and probably perfect for kids. The Sonoma chicken soup is full of carrots, potato and a thick, rich broth. The turkey cherry salad with a cherry vinaigrette was full of pecans, dried but plump cherries, real turkey slices, and fresh greens and blue cheese. A note on the tea. I try never to get tea at panera because they use those self contained hot water servers that taste of coffee and no matter what kind of tea I get, it always tastes of coffee. Yuck. This place seemed to be offering real hot water, which is clearly the better a choice. read more

When it comes to fast food there is only a few places I'm truly happy eating. Panera Bread is one of those places. The Mediterranean sandwich is my favorite & the turkey chili is to die for. Plus they make some great oatmeal radon cookies. I also love how up to date with technology they are. There app rocks, they have kiosks and everyone that works there are always nice to deal with. I absolutely love this panera bread!! I love the spinach, mushroom, sofrito it melts in your mouth. Also, the power sandwich is great too! Usually pair those with either an iced skim latte or the infused green tea. :D I go to panera for breakfast more than I should.It is expensive but it's good quality food so I don't mind. :) Staff wise: The cashier is always courteous but I've never seen her smile. The guy that makes the food is super nice, I forgot to say no tomato in my order so he actually remade it for me without tomato. I love to come here and study. I ordered my room, received a number and sat down. After 10 minutes I realized my food never came. When I went there, my name wasn't even on the screen. They completely forgot about my order. Asked me rudely what I ordered and when i told her, she told one of her coworkers to make it. She immediately rolled her eyes. I can see that they are understaffed, but the attitude was not needed. Secondly, while I was studying, I decided to get a latte to wake me up. Instead of using the machine, (which I did the first time) I decided to go to them in person. Again, they took my order, and I waited. After a while, a woman come and told me that the machine was broken and she was going to come to me and give it to me. So i said it was fine and sat down and continued my work. After over another 10 minutes, I went and to them again to ask where it was and to see if the machine was still broken. The girl let me know that they weren't going to fix it until tomorrow. Why couldn't you tell me this? This is just horrible service and I was very disappointed. read more

Their sandwiches, soups and salads are all good. Jazz music and a fireplace with two leather chairs make it perfect.
