They have Tabafo Sauce snd mustard small packs at drink station on loose rack along with salt pepper sweeteners etc plus cups for water as I like to drink water with my sandwich. I loved Panera Bread. Loved, loved, loved it. So today when the company said they were bringing in PB for lunch, I was delighted. And then I got my food. I ordered a grilled cheese and tomato soup. If you look at the picture on the menu and shrink it by half you are getting close to the size of the sandwich. I'll guess it was 3" by 3". The cheese appeared and tasted like some processed cheese product and it did not travel well. By the time it got to me, it has started to harden back up in to the gelatinous mess it started out as. It did not have flavor and was on bread that was uninspired. Remember their bread, how wonderful it was? No more. The soup was maybe 3 ounces, although I doubt it. It had a sweetness (not in a good way) and didn't taste fresh at all. It, too, was gross. I was supposed to get chips on the side but did not. Panera Bread is way, way, way, WAY over priced for what they are serving. It's as if they thought they were popular to jack up the prices and tank the quality and we wouldn't notice. I always try to say something positive in these reviews: I am positive I won't eat that garbage again. I'll find a child with an easy bake to make me a grilled cheese first. It's been a long time since I've gone there. It will be a lot longer before I go back. A 1 star is being generous here. read more

This place just stinks. There's always a 75% chance they don't pack your sides. If you do a curbside order it never comes out in a timely manner. Tonight I sat for ten minutes, then had to go inside to find my order sitting in a random table. Upon opening the bag all the sides were missing. I was able to flag someone down, they were NOT busy mind you, and get the sides. Unfortunately, I didn't check for croutons for the soup. That's on me, I guess. On our way to Williamsburg, we stopped for lunch at Panera. What a disappointment - we have always found Panera to be spot on. However, this was not the case at this location. Not one of the staff members every smiled or was welcoming. We ordered at the counter. The onion soup was just okay - my sister sent hers back. The Chicken and rice soup was overly salty. The grilled cheese sandwich was cold and had to be sent back as well. The other sandwiches were just okay. The Italian sandwich had one slice of meat and one slice of cheese. Lunch for the four of us was $48.85 - very expensive for what we received. We certainly will never stop at this Panera again. read more

Let me preface this by saving I am a huge Panera fan. We stopped by this location and decided to eat outside in their outdoor seating area because it was a nice day. We ordered via the Panera app and requested that the food be delivered to our table and typed the table number into the app as directed. When they brought the food out they scolded us for using this feature on the Panera app... weird. The food tasted fine but they only brought utensils for one person at the table even though there were three of us ... weird again. The outdoor seating area needs a refresh. The tables and chairs are rusted and the paint is peeling off of them. I might stop by here if I got my food to go but their outdoor seating area and service leaves much to be desired. read more

First of all, Panera is Panera. This review is based more on service than the food. The food I have received from this establishment has been the quality I would expect from any Panera restaurant. That said... A few months ago I decided to stop through the drive thru to pick up soup for my family for dinner. It was around 6:30 PM. I ordered chicken soup (listen on the menu). "Wait a sec!" 5 minutes pass "We're out of that." I order a broth bowl. "Wait a sec.". More time passes. "We're out of that." When we reached the point that I requested a side of baguette bread and they were out of that, I decided to cancel my order and go to a different Panera location. The location in Spotsylvania was able to serve me everything I ordered, rapidly. In addition, on multiple occasions this Central Park location has had slow service. read more

I've been here to pick up small orders for doordash on two occasions. The food has never been ready when I've been there, and both times I've had to unassign the orders after half an hour of waiting. The food was good, but the restaurant is filthy. Sticky bathroom floors, dirty tables, and overflowing trashcans. I even received dirty utensils with my meal and had to go back for clean ones. For the price of the food, they might want to step it up on the cleanliness. read more

Might want to consider getting someone who can address some of these concerns that your customers have for a premium-priced fast food restaurant. So after a week of practically living in Panera, I've learned that it goes far beyond a typical chain sandwich shop. Panera is remarkable in that it has become a chain restaurant that thrives on freshly baked foods. All of their bread is freshly baked overnight in time for the next day's breakfast and lunch rush. Panera's dedication to high quality food is evident in every dish I've tried. The vegetables in my salad are always bright and crisp, and the bread is the home-baked type that puts store-bought bread to shame. The staff at the Fredericksburg location is amazingly friendly and helpful. When I came in this morning, one of them recognized me and--even though he was on break--took the time to help me find an outlet so I could plug in my laptop and do work. The only negative I can find is that the coffee isn't as strong as I like, but with free refills I can easily get enough caffeine to keep me going. A few insider tips: They keep coffee mugs behind the counter, so if you're dining in and want to save a tree, just ask for one. They have a coffee card (buy 8, get one free). There is a microwave beneath the coffee pots that you can use to warm your pastry. The lunch rush can get REALLY crazy (11:30-2). However, the rest of the day is pretty calm and you can hang out without feeling like you are taking up too much space. The couch by the fire is super-comfy, but isn't the easiest spot to eat at. If you have a sweet tooth, try the Cinnamon Crunch bagel. If you don't, you might want to avoid it, since it's much sweeter than you'd expect. read more

With all the clones of this type of restaurant you would think they would try harder. This place prepared the single worst mocha I have ever had. Since it's the only coffee drink I ever get that's pretty impressive. They have a big espresso machine there in the front, but I think it's there just for show. The mochas we ordered tasted like really weak instant hot chocolate and not the high end coco. Probably like Dollar Store off brand coco. My breakfast sandwich wasn't much better and actually came out before the coffee so I guess it's just pre-made, not even hot enough to melt the cheese on my sandwich. They have a weird system of the coffee comes out of a different counter than the food which is confusing and you get a pager for the food, but not the coffee... Always had a good experience at this location until tonight. I could smell something burning in the kitchen. Our food sat on the shelf for 10 minutes and our buzzer didn't go off. Finally I got up and got what i thought was our food and told the worker that the buzzer didnt go off, he said sometimes that happens but why didnt he call out the order and let people know their order was ready? I Love Panera and this one in Fredericksburg is my favorite. Almost always have a great experience. The staff here is usually GREAT! They have messed up my order on more than one occasion, but that can happen anywhere... at this Panera they always make it right and then throw in extra's to make up for their mistake and my extra time. Nine times out of ten my order is correct, but anytime it hasn't been they have been wonderful about making it right. I love the food. A few great selections for vegetarians, but I really wish they had some more vegan options. Wow this Panera Bread is the worst of all times. Never coming back. We waited for the food for 1 hour. When we asked for our food they said that the order didn't show up in the system. Why the hell would you have machines if they are not going to work properly. There was another person with the same problem. The lady's at the front desks were just looking at each other and talking, they were not doing anything. My fiancé asked her about our food and one blond chick with glasses walked back to the kitchen making it look like she was going to do something about it, but she walked right back and my fiancé could see her and ask her like "what were you suppose to be doing?! Checking ur phone or some sh*" and she look impress that we were able to see that she walked to the back to do nothing. The manager asked for our phone number and said "when ever shows up in the system" and my fiancé got so mad that asked for the money back. Never again.
