I do on occasion order a sandwich from Panera Bread online. I like to try new things, but I have settled on a favorite that is customized to my satisfaction. So, I ordered it, added a cookie, and went to pick it up where it was waiting for me. The only problem I have is that they ask me what time I plan to pick something up before I can order it. What happened? This is the second time I placed a mobile order that had my favorite soup, but got let down. The soup is the "Cream of Chicken & Wild Rice Soup". It's described as "Diced chicken, long grain and wild rice, celery, onion and carrots simmered in chicken stock with cream and select herbs." It's normally thick and flavorful, but the last two times from this location it's been watery and not so flavorful. Disappointing Everything else was great. Stopped in at Panera for a quick lunch and tried the Chicken Roma Asiago Stack -- I was genuinely impressed. It might be my favorite sandwich they've had since the turkey artichoke (and that's saying a lot after more than a decade). It was flavorful without being too heavy. I paired it with a cup of French onion soup, which was also delicious. The downside was the service. It felt almost non-existent. We ended up ordering at the kiosk because no one was at the register. Seating was what you'd expect from a typical Panera, and parking was easy. Overall, the food was great, but the company could do a better job with customer service, especially since it's positioned as more than just fast food. read more

Placing an order at this Panera location is tedious beyond belief. Have to repeat everything three times, then wait while the dumas repeats everything back two times, and still end up with missing stuff in the bag. They never put extra stuff in the bag, they make you pay for stuff you don't get. Bad place--don't expect very much from them. read more

It doesn't matter which Panera Bread we go to, the orders include almost the same thing every time. A strawberry smoothie. My youngest loves the strawberry smoothie from Panera Bread. I really like using the kiosks inside for when I order because it remembers my favorites list. Every Panera looks similar, not a ton of frills. The drink stations are nice because you can refill your drink before leaving. The open kitchen is nice because you can talk to a person in the event you have a question or issue. My food might not always be the best, but as long as the Strawberry Smoothie continues to be made the exact same way at every location, I will continue to give 5 stars because you made my kids day. read more

The food was greasy and appeared as if the food was just throw together. The service workers we short and a little rude. The ambiance of the lobby was ok but tables, and floors were dirty. This Panera is in the midst of a large shopping center area with tons of things around. We stopped for lunch earlier today (and I think have a few times while on this route to DC or back) and had some delicious, fresh salads. When they finally answered, they blamed DoorDash. DoorDash said the order wasn't placed thru them so call Panera. Asked daughter to bring me a salad from Panera bread. I said I want fresh avocado, as she was on the phone when she placed the order I heard her say fresh avocados please. $14.50 wasted, Avocado looks like it has black mold and a gray fungus, smh. Daughter tried to get refund over the phone as we live too far away, but management refused. It was a Fuji salad with added avocado. I don't know where this salad was before my daughter bought it, but I'm not eating it. Examined the salad and found mixed greens brown. One lid of two on the salad dressing , smeared with something, not salad dressing. Panera Bread has great food choices and the cutest booths to eat in. I gave this location 2 stars because the staff was not really into their jobs. No smiles for any customers, constant griping about their work hours, their boss, boring routine, they were bothered by my questions about the Take 2 menu, basically they did not want to be there and they let us know. The tables and floors were not clean. We wiped down the booth we wanted and brushed the crumbs from the seats onto a few napkins. The trash area was full of dishes that needed to be taken to the back and washed. Our food was served to us as haphazardly as they could get away with and still call it soup and a 1/2 sandwich. The ingredients were slapped up on the bread without a plan or care. I realigned it so I could get an even bite. The soup was good. This store has always been to the standard I expect of a Panera Bread. Today I came here for breakfast right at 10:00. The older gentleman in front of me came to purchase a $100 gift card. He was obviously a regular and the staff member at the bakery was very patient and caring towards this nice gentleman. She then apologized to me for my wait. My husband and I went to Panera in Central Park with my granddaughter and all I wanted was a BLT. The cashier asked if I wanted avocado & I said yes. I was charged $12.99. When my order came up it looked like all chicken. I said all I wanted was a BLT. The girl that took my order said there wasn't a button option for a BLT, so she ordered the Chicken, Avocado, BLT. She then said I should have told her I didn't want chicken, while she complained to her coworkers that it wasn't her fault. I reiterated that I just wanted a BLT, so they removed the Chicken and brought me the sandwich with 1 broken up piece of bacon spread out, 2 pieces of wilted spring lettuce that looked like sea weed and tomato, no avocado. When I looked confused, the cashier said they could only use the portions that were allotted for each sandwich. Finally, she did bring me a cup with broken pieces of bacon for my sandwich. It was the worst sandwich I'd ever had! Plus, we have been regulars since this restaurant opened and no one ever cleans the bathrooms! The floors have 20 years of dirt on them and the toilets are filthy, filthy, filthy! I have complained, but no one cares! I love their salads and always gravitate to the Greek salad add tuna and then they allow you to add other ingredients such as spinach or avocados. I usually opt for the half and half special choosing the Italian Combo sandwich and one of the soups. The Italian sandwich is great with the homemade ciabatta and pepperoncini really making it stand out. Some quirks with this location worth noting though: - They close at 9pm sharp. But don't be surprised to arrive at 8:59pm and find the door firmly locked. - Watch when ordering the clam chowder. On two occasions, I was served baked potato soup instead. It is similar in appearance, but costs less. - If you arrive late in the evening, the ciabatta bread usually runs out. Many of the substitutes don't work well either. I'm not sure why this is a recurring issue here. It seems like you should be able to project how much bread you will need. So given these quirks, 3.5 stars overall. read more
