I will never understand. I've lived in Georgetown almost 5 years and this Panera Bread has gotten my order wrong 9/10. It's one of very few healthy quick options in the city and I have never been one for complicated orders. No special modifications just things like a sandwich on the normal menu (often even a new release special they're advertising) and they half the time don't give me the items I paid for and the other half they give me the sandwiches but with no meat and on the wrong bread that it normally comes with on the menu? The lines are never long when I go and so I don't understand how it is consistently this bad of service. They need new management and to train employees. read more

It pains me to make this review, but it also pains me that when I make an order, I expect to have a full order, especially with the prices. I ordered my salad, my mac & cheese, and a bowl of soup which was not a full bowl. Basically, I paid for a bowl that was basically only a cup. Normally, I don't have a problem, but I've noticed this is the second time I've ordered for delivery and it's like this every time. I got my usual - half Mediterranean veggie sandwich with a bowl of broccoli cheese soup. My girls shared a large macaroni and cheese with a bowl of broccoli cheese soup but started eating it before I was able to take a picture. The bread for the sandwich was much thicker than I usually get when I go to Panera and order the same thing. I'm not sure why, maybe it was just cut thicker. The girls loved their macaroni and broccoli cheese soup. They like to put their shell noodles into their soup and eat it together. There was no line on Labor Day and barely anyone inside so it was easy to find a booth and the wait for the food wasn't too long. Had a to go order for lunch, today. I ordered from the app; since it was convenient. I put in my credit card information within the app; and it kept rejecting it. So, I was required to put my PayPal information in....not that I mind, but I would have PREFERRED to have the order on my credit card. That is the main reason for my 4 star review. Otherwise, the food is always great and piping hot. I've never had Panera mess up one of my Rapid Pick-Up orders; so I am grateful for their carefulness. My husband got a Fuji Apple chicken salad....which he modified slightly. He doesn't care for the dressing that comes on it; so he gets their balsamic vinegar dressing. I got one of their bowls. Fantastic and filling!!! It has been awhile since I've been to Panera and I really like their updated version for their salads....really helps the salad not fall out while shake-mixing the salad with dressing. Traveling through Kentucky and stopped by this Panera. I got a 1/2 sandwich and cup of soup. My almond chicken salad sandwich was all lettuce and tomato with what looked like a small spoonful of the chicken salad. I love Panera but this one was dirty and didn't look well kept. Update, when I called and spoke to the manager on the day this happened he apologized and told me he would get something in the mail to take care of it. Well week later nothing, I would blow it off butt we were charged for a full size sandwich and received a half. So today I called and talked to another manager and told her I was upset that the previous manager did not take care of either a credit or replacement. She apologized and comped my sons sandwich tonight. I love Panera and I am happy they have redeemed theirselves. Keeping it at 1 until my next visit. Ordered online made mistake with address tried to call store for ten minutes no answer. Called multiple times no answer so drove to store caught the driver got our order. Get home and they shorted my son half a sandwich. I paid for a full sandwich and we get two halfs. Bottom line check your orders but mist of all answer your phone! I'm thrilled that a Panera came to Georgetown! It's been over a year since I've been to a Panera and I've been ready for something other than fast food joints. All Georgetown needs now to make my life complete is a Chipotle, Noodles&Co, and Jamba Juice. :P Anyway. Upon first walking in, this location nearly blew me out of the water when it comes to Panera. Huge, modern, clean, beautiful -- plenty of seating indoor and out (the largest Panera dining area I've seen, I think). The employees are friendly and helpful, which I appreciate. The few meals I've had so far have been delicious -- the broccoli cheddar soup exactly how I remember it (mmmmm!). Coffee is good, too. My complaint? The prices. One lunch meal together, we paid $20 for his salad and drink, and my you-pick-two meal of half a sandwich and small bowl of soup. Ouch! I don't know if all Paneras have raised their you-pick-two prices or just this one... but doubt I'll get it again unless I feel like splurging. Soooo yummy, though! The parking lot is a bit of a tight squeeze with Culvers next door -- but it seems that parking lots for everything in Georgetown is a tight squeeze. Must be how this town rolls. read more

I walked into the Georgetown Panera around 230 pm. The baking racks were in the area where the cashiers work and there was no one to take my order. A young lady walked past me 2 times and when she appeared a third time, I excused myself and asked if she could get someone to take my order. She got mad and told me that she was stocking. She reluctantly took my order and there were no orders in front of me. Walking into to a place that looks like it is no longer open for business is not a good thing. I prefer the Georgetown location over the Lexington ones. I hope that management can help the staff with their priorities. read more

We were staying at the Fairfield right behind Panera on Cherry Blossom. we used the Rapid Pick-Up and it was ready when we got there. delicious Panera food, as always. Stopped here on the way south along I-75. Easy to find off the exit. Next to Chick-Fil-A; part of the family went there and I went to Panera. Got the Tuscan Grilled Chicken without the basil mayo for $9.99. Wasn't a fan of that sandwich - just personal taste preference. Oh Panera. What can I say about thee? I love that Panera offers so many awesome alternatives to fast food. My favorite of all time is the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken Salad. It's the best! I love how fresh everything from here tastes and how friendly the staff is. I love the variety of bakery goods that I do not need but always buy anyway. I love the variety of teas. What I do not love is that the cash register asks for a tip?? I just paid 13 for a salad and a drink, you don't even deliver the food... a tip? Come on. I also don't love the high prices. Had two large groups here over the past two weeks while house hunting in Georgetown. I am not a fan of Panera but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Orders for 8 and 9 it's the usual fare I never eat there sans I'm gluten free. The place is kinda iffy clean and the men's restroom both times was way past in need of cleaning. Food was adequate the second visit the dishwasher was broken down email eating in was in to go packed. Most felt first visit was better the second was hit and miss. I've been wanting a Panera in Georgetown since I moved here. The first week they were open they were crazy busy, but it seems to have slowed down some. I love that they have a drive through. The outdoor patio section is very nice. The indoor seating area isn't my favorite for a Panera - I like the ones with more corners to type and fireplaces, but it's large. Their 4 cheese grilled cheese have this tiny bit of cheese in the center the rest is just hard bread, the steak sandwich the meat was rubber like and cinnamon rolls are dry. Drive-thru is just as easy and convenient as stepping inside. Their service is quick/the food is much better than your typical place with a drive-thru. If you're looking for a healthier alternative on your lunch break definitely recommend Panera for that.
