I had to wipe our table off and there were used paper towels and chips on the floor at the table we sat at. Some of the other tables weren't as clean as the one I chose. Also when we were trying to get our drinks I'm assuming the 3 employees were either trying to fix the drink container or clean it...however, no one informed of if it was out of order, being cleaned or just speak and tell us it would be a minute. They just kept doing what they were doing and occasionally looked up at us. I typically get my food to go at this location and I honestly think that is what I will result to. read more

I ordered a Tuna Salad sandwich at Panera, in Georgetown, TX, and it had a chard of glass that cut my lip and broke my tooth. I had a difficult time stopping the bleeding and had bloody napkins piled high on my tray I told the young kid "Manager on Duty" and showed him the glass shard and told him to save it to show her boss. She said it was dusgusting and threw the piece of glass in trash. I also told her to file an incident report and I needed to get to ER to stop the bleeding. She gave me her General Manager's cell number and I left a message. ER docs glued my lip together and documented broken tooth referring me to my dentist. I received a call later that day from the General Manager "Fernando" who yelled at me for calling him on his cell phone. I proceeded to explain to him the incident involving glass in my tuna sandwich. He submitted his report to Legal "Cody" and they refused to reimburse me the $1,100 to repair my broken tooth because their employee threw the glass shard in trash. I had photos of the glass shard, cut lip and broken tooth and Panera still would not reimburse me for the injury caused by their company. I did ask for any more compensation than for reimbursement to repair my broken tooth. At the time, I was working through a serious head injury and needed to work on healing. Their solution was to take the tuna off the menu and to pretend the incident did not happen. In other words, stick their heads in the sand and hope that I woukd forget incident. I am not and will not remove post until reimbursed $1,100 asap for broken tooth. Besides their restaurant is filthy , smells dirty and violates health standards. read more

Yesterday Mrs. Texas and I meet my youngest daughter and granddaughter here for lunch. Mrs. Texas ordered her favorite sandwich, Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich with NO mixed greens, you guessed it, it came loaded with mixed greens. I ordered the Toasted Steak and White Cheddar Sandwich with EXTRA pickled onions, and EXTRA spicy pickle chips. As you can see from my photo, there were no EXTRA pickled onions and no EXTRA spicy pickle chips. It comes with the pickled onions, but the spicy pickle chips were an add on, so I had no spicy pickle chips at all !!! Mrs. Texas double checked the receipt and it's all on there !!! So they either don't care OR they can't read !!! I wish a manager would respond and tell me which one it is !!! That's all I've got to say about that !!! I went through the drive-through today and ordered a salad, stayed in line forever and when I got to the window, they handed me a salad that I did not order. I asked for a refund because I did not want to spend another 20 or 30 minutes in the drive-through line, but a woman said she would make the salad immediately which she did, but she did not put in a baguette which I had ordered and which comes with the salad. Every time I go through the drive-through here in Georgetown,, I swear never to do it again and this time I will not ever go through the Panera drive-through again here in Georgetown. This review is mainly directed towards the service. I don't know what it is with this location but they can not seem to get a "to go" order correct, or at least not my orders. I have ordered 2 separate catering orders and both times they been incorrect They aren't large orders either so you would think they would be accurate. The first time this happened, the order was so grossly wrong, I was issued a full refund. There was nothing correct about my first order. So, I kept it simple today...18 bagels all sliced and toasted. East, right? Apparently not. At least they were sliced this time but not toasted. For the life of me, I can't figure out why the staff here can't follow a simple request. They weren't even busy when I stopped by. So I'm officially done with Panera. Einstein Bagels just came to town and maybe they know how to toast a bagel. read more

Not sure if this is happening at all Paneras but Panera in Georgetown seems to be on the decline. Tables and booth seats seems to be broken or extremely worn. The staff is playing music from their phones and no music throughout the store. No staff up front so your basically forced to order from the kiosk. About 25% of the items seem to be unavailable. We ordered 2 chicken bowls and a grill cheese which ended up being $38. For this price I would have expected to be able to eat with real utensils and plates, but only plastic spoons/knives were available because they are out of forks. The baguette that came with the meal seemed to have been sitting for some time as it was hard, but based on everything else I didn't expect anything less. I went through their drive thru and ordered a chipotle chicken avocado melt sandwich and a cup of broccoli cheddar soup. It's quite expensive since it's $10 for half a sandwich, a cup of soup and either a side of an apple, a slice of French baguette, or chips. They didn't hand me or offer me my receipt which I would have appreciated and accepted. Their bread is cold and thrown in the to-go bag without any separate packaging, I forgot we had the options of an apple, chips or bread because they didn't ask which one we wanted, they just automatically give me bread, I would have much more preferred the chips. I absolutely loved the broccoli cheddar soup and the sandwich was good but nothing to write home about. read more

Pretty good! Food is a little bland and basic but to me I think its pretty good! Perfect place to go to if you are an anti-social person, They have little machines to use and can pick up your food to bring to your table from a bar, super easy! Workers are pretty nice. But.. Sometimes the workers don't always clean the tables because they are short staffed so sometimes you will get stuck at a dirty table. Besides that this place is pretty good. read more

I love Panera and have spent A LOT of money there over the years, but I regret to say this is the worst experience I've had at one. My bagel was only toasted around the edges, and our frozen cold brews were awful. First, there was chocolate all over everything: our cups, our utensils, the bag. And both cold brews had big chucks of caramel and chocolate in them, like they hadn't been mixed or something, which made them sickening sweet. May seem trivial to some, but I expect much better quality for the cost. And I very rarely leave reviews of places but thought your location should know that your food prep definitely needs some work. It won't stop me from going back to Panera, but I definitely wouldn't return to this location. read more

Really really confused about an order I picked up from drive thru. After taking a few bites from my grilled cheese, I realized there were sour crunchy bits, so I opened it and saw there were what I believe are pickle flavored potato chips?! I looked online everywhere I could trying to figure out if this was a thing, but I've ordered the grilled cheese multiple times and have never had this. There's was absolutely nothing to online about pickle flavored potato chips in Panera grilled cheeses so I'm just confused and grossed out! I used to be a big fan of Panera, but today I no longer am. I ordered a Greek salad with chicken, specifically because I wanted some protein in my salad. The largest piece of chicken was about 1-inch square, and thinly sliced. All the remaining chicken was in little "chips" about .25 inch in size. So disappointing. This USED to be my favorite carry out lunch food for groups that met at my house. However, the service today ruined my party because the order was not filled correctly. They left out a 1/2 Ranch Cobb Salad from a Pick 2. They left out a full bowl of Autumn Squash Soup. There were 4 Tomato Basil BLT sandwiches that did not have any basil on them(they threw in a few pieces of spring salad greens instead) and the bacon was cold, tough and too thick to bite into comfortably. The baguette breads were thrown into the bottom of the soup and sandwich bag and were not in any separate bag or container. The soups and sandwiches were piled on top of the loose bread. To add insult to injury, when I called the phone number on their local listing their phone number does not work! My party has just finished up and I will be driving up to Panera to get a refund for the missing items from my order. They gladly collected my $70.95( including a 20% tip), and for that I expect MORE from this company. In short, they can do better! read more

Went for late lunch and wished we went elsewhere. Menu is deceiving. When ordering 2 item special the price listed is only for that 1 item . So if you're planing on a combo it will cost about $16. So my wife had salad w/chicken and a sandwich and I had something similar with 2 teas. Price right under $40. Not a good value. The chicken used was cold frozen cold with ice thru chicken. Reported to mgr. He seemed not concerned but offered to remake order. We declined as we already waited 20 minutes for the our order. Also the place was filthy ,tables were dirty with trash under them. Don't waste your money here as there many actual sit down restaurants close by that's a better value. read more

Panera Bread in Georgetown on University Ave. opened on Friday the 21st, so I've actually stopped by every day at the drive-through and tried various items every day since, as honestly I've never eaten at Panera before now. Drive-thru lines were short, service was great each time, staff was courteous and accommodating, and wait times for food was about 6-8 minutes, which is not bad at all for prepared food. The Asiago Steak sandwich was a nice sandwich with lots of seared steak and with a great sauce, although the steak was a bit tough (thick) and made biting the sandwich not enjoyable. I asked at later visit and Mgr. stated that maybe steak wasn't fluffed just right when added to sandwich to ensure tender bite. Mgr. seemed conscientious and involved, so that's nice. Italian Combo has great ingredients and is a sandwich I can eat often. (twice already) The bread is like a very good Italian bread that I've purchased and have made before when making a Muffaletta, having not an egg-shell flaky crust like French Bread, but a firmer bread that holds up to the ingredients, and a crust that tears easily with a bite. The Soup and Sandwich deal is great for lunch, I'd get the whole sandwich because it's huge and you'll want the second half later, if not sooner. Others had the Roast Turkey Avocado Bacon BLT, which comes on large white bread and was also great, based on the silence at the table. I had the Seasonal Hibiscus Iced Tea yesterday and the Mango Iced Tea today, and both were excellent unsweetened. I'm looking forward to trying more of the other menu items over the next few weeks. I prepare many similar items at home, but it's convenient with school starting, so that'll likely ensure frequent dining here, when there's no time to cook or sit down at a restaurant. read more
