The woman still there was super nice, esp considering the time, and the vibe was relaxed but welcoming. They have a variety of Lobster Rolls warm or cold that are really tasty and priced right. They also offer a point systems to get items free. If you've order lobster at a restaurant lately, you know they are expensive. Mason's Lobsters Rolls are reasonably priced and you get a lot of meat without all the shell attached. Located off Lauderdale Road in Henrico, VA little confusing as the strip mall lists 11761 W. Broad Street, Henrico, VA 23233 as their location. You can get in off both entrances and off the road that cuts behind Bank of America and Panera Bread. Since we love Lobster, we're hoping you will give them a try for lunch or lite dinner.

I had the braised beef short ribs, which were melt-in-your -mouth. Paired with garlic mashed potatoes, roasted root veg, and some of the best collard greens I've ever had. He had the fried chicken with hot honey, garlic mashed potatoes, and more collard greens. That fried chicken was so crispy and delicious. Had the peach cobbler bread pudding for dessert, and it was an EXPERIENCE. The only thing that would have made the meal better was some of the slab bacon, but we'll know to come for breakfast or lunch for that next time!

Upon entering, the hostess greeted us and, at our request, seated us outside because it was a beautiful day. The restaurant venue and ambiance were modern and well kept. The bathroom was clean and nice. The outside seating area was also fairly clean with comfortable seating. Our server (neither my partner nor I caught her name as she said it: she had beautiful braids with blonde streaks woven in) started on the right foot, took our orders promptly, and brought out our waters. I ordered the Smothered Pork Chop, and my partner chose the Fried Chicken, subbed pimento mac and cheese for the collard greens (who can blame her?). The food did not come out promptly. My best guess is that our server was seated with a large table and prioritized a better tip over the two top (us) outside. Eventually, the food came out (~25 minutes, so not terrible), but for the number of patrons in the restaurant, it was too long. My partner's mashed potatoes were cold, but she said the fried chicken and mac and cheese were fantastic. The potatoes tasted delicious, but they were simply not warm. My pork chop was very thick, like a filet, which is okay, but it wasn't what I expected. I prefer a thin pork chop, so that it cooks all the way through (more solid, not soft). It was passable. The beans and rice (Hoppin' John) were also not what I was expecting; I was thinking more New Orleans-style, but they were bland, like cream of mushroom soup on unseasoned beans and rice. We ordered the banana pudding for dessert. We ended up waiting for that for ~20 minutes as well, a half-pint glass of banana pudding with underripe bananas mixed in. Note to the chef: heat ripens bananas, so you could toss a few in a skillet with a little oil in a pinch (egg yolks also work). We waited for another 10 minutes, and I finally went inside and asked the hostess for the check. I realize it is difficult to serve, but you must also consider asking your colleagues for help if you have too much going on. All in all, the food was satisfactory, but the service was lacking. We ended up waiting an hour longer than we should have had to. I semi-recommend Farm and Oak, but look to be seated with the better server, John. He and the hostess saved our experience.

I wanted something quick and healthy and Cava was the perfect place. I've been to this one a few times and it's always clean, spacious, and quick. It seems like a lot of people meet up here, so it's great for groups. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. I love to get a greens and grains bowl when I come. The grilled chicken is my fave. I recently tried the shawarma chicken and still prefer the grilled one for more flavor. The lentils and super greens are my go-to and I get every topping available. You're even able to get a free side pita. Cava is the best and this one is a great location with lots of free parking in front.

The Chef actually explained how their ordering works and where their food ingredients come from and the process of creating this restaurant and ingredient options. Their restaurant was open airy with an open glass shielded food area and light toned wooden tables and chairs. Second time in Midlothian area they only had white rice available and their options looked old and wilted so we left and the restaurant did not feel very welcoming. I will be more than pleased to try this location with hopes that it is like the first location with vibrant and fresh ingredients to choose from.

It was my first visit, and I was genuinely impressed with the ambiance, service, and overall quality of the meal. The menu offers a nice variety of food and cocktails. I ordered the espresso martini, which was smooth and well balanced, and my boyfriend had the Vieux Carré, which he really enjoyed. We started with the cast iron goat cheese, and it was rich, layered in flavor, and paired with bread that was delicious on it's own. For my entrée, I chose the margherita pizza, and it was one of the best I've had. The sauce was perfect, and the crust had an ideal texture and flavor. My boyfriend ordered the spicy sausage & black pepper honey pizza. While neither of us found it particularly spicy, it was still bold and very flavorful. Service was friendly and efficient throughout the evening. It was a wonderful experience overall, and I'm looking forward to returning.

When we first walked in, the place was pretty crowded, but we were able to grab a couple spots at the bar and figured we'd settle in for a good night. That's where things went sideways. The bartender appeared to be the only one working, and while I understand being busy, the attitude and behavior were honestly shocking. Every interaction felt aggressive. Remotes getting slammed around. Napkins and pens tossed onto the counter. Water being splashed onto the floor like a toddler throwing a tantrum. The entire atmosphere at the bar felt tense and uncomfortable. It got to the point where we almost felt awkward ordering anything because every request seemed like it was ruining their night. At one point another couple sat down next to us and almost immediately started looking around like, "is this really happening right now?" I actually ended up warning them that no, they weren't imagining it, and that it had been our experience the entire time too. That alone should tell you how uncomfortable the atmosphere was. Which is unfortunate because the kitchen actually did their part. The food was good. Really good. But good food only carries a place so far when the service makes you want to leave before the meal even arrives. I've worked in and around hospitality long enough to understand busy nights happen. But there's a huge difference between being overwhelmed and taking it out on customers. Tazza Kitchen has the food figured out. Now they just need the front of house experience to match it.
