    Panera Trash
    Brenda K G.

My husband and I decided to try Panera for dinner as we love the breakfast however we were very DISAPPOINTED. When we walked in we didn't notice anything out of the ordinary in the entry way. We ordered our food for dine in. We got our drink and then we proceeded to find a table. This is when we became very DISAPPOINTED as all the tables were dirty plates were left on the tables, the trashcan was full. We were there for 30 minutes and nobody came out to clean. Before we sat down we cleaned our own table. The restrooms were very dirty as well. Had we noticed this before ordering our food we would have walked out. As Grand Prairie residents and loving the Panera Bread breakfast we can't be anything other than VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Good food, just a little pricey. Not too bad though. Mom and I both got the 2 for. Sorry for the half eaten meal, was starving. I would recommend this place to eat at again. The meal is very bready, maybe would like to see another option besides bread with soup or more soup with no bread.

    Cinnamon Crunch Bagel

My wife ordered a bagel and a breakfast sandwich from this location. After ten minutes of ordering, they informed us that it was ready. However, when I arrived, they claimed that they were currently working on it. Twenty minutes passed, and they said they hadn't seen my order. After them asking ten different questions, even after showing them proof of purchase, I asked if I could simply get my order remade. Another ten minutes went by, and I finally received it. When I opened it, the bacon was burnt, and my cinnamon bagels were served like this. Can you spot the difference?

Nasty place inside - looks like nothing has been wiped down in a year! Drink fountains are a sticky corroded mess! Bathrooms are disgusting! Food is pretty good if you're not grossed out before getting your food!

If I could zero stars, I would. I ordered online and told my order was ready at 10:34am. I did not see a bag anywhere for pick-up so I'm waiting at the counter for 15 minutes while every worker saw me waiting. I was only acknowledged after saying excuse me 3 times. They told me my order hasn't even been worked on.... Meanwhile everyone in the drive-thru were getting their orders. Customer support line did advise they have to manually put "order is ready" so they put my order was ready JUST to make their numbers look good...meanwhile, I didn't get my order until 11:15am and they still messed it up. This is what I got for $26....not even a sorry for the service but now I'm at home cooking breakfast at LUNCH time because of this trash.

Dirty, no one cleans the tables.

Almost no place to sit due to dirty tables, came here to try and study since this place is always empty. There are 7 tables with dirty plates and trash. Looks like one of those waiter/restaurant video game where you're losing because you can't pick up after anyone or heat food up quick enough. I heard a lady complain about the coffee she just purchased being cold. My husband ordered a hot tea and he too said the water is cold. All Panera does is heat up pre-made food... must be a short staffed/low pay situation ‍

Stopped here with a friend for lunch. The food was yummy. Nothing negative to say about the taste or quality. My only complaint would be the price. My bill was about $16 for half a sandwich, cup of soup, drink, and cookie. I generally like to spend closer to $10 for fast food, but oh well. I still give five stars.

Turkey chilli bread bowl and tea

I'd never had Panera Bread before but my friend wanted it and it looked good. I got the turkey chili in a bread bowl it came with a lot of bread. I was expecting a bit more flavor because it looked amazing but it was just so bland that I threw most of it away. The only reason I'm not giving it a 2 is cause the tea was randomly amazing. I don't think I'd go back.

I am not one to complain but really this is a steak and white cheddar sandwich? Where is the steak?? Where is the cheddar?? Doesn't even look like one complete slice of meat! Ridiculous I paid 7 bucks for this .1oz of meat and a lot of bread ! At least I had the Mac and cheese to eat! Will not return!

One word about this location: AVOID!!!! TAKE THE TIME TO DRIVE TO ANOTHER LOCATION or EAT SOMEWHERE ELSE ENTIRELY. After a 20 min wait, I asked my husband to check on the food. The person at the counter said they forgot and it had just been sitting there on the counter waiting to be delivered out to us. The counter person didn't even care and my husband ended up taking the plates to our table. Worst customer service ever. Please take the time to train your employees! We will not be back to this location. This was disappointing because it's an ideal location for lunch.

Not a typical Panera display set up.

We arrived there after lunch rush and our waitress was welcoming. El Limeno is bright and comfortable with easy to read menus and table service. It was a very authentic experience including the need to be a little patient with language comprehension of all our questions. We started with an order of 3 Salvadoran Chicken tamales and an order of Fried Plaintains. The tamals were brought out "unwrapped" but on a banana leaf square. I don't know how they were steamed. The masa was good but didn't taste overtly of banana leaves. The chicken was in large tender chunks and the potatoes were big tender pieces. I love Latin tamals and these were a 4/5. Unfortunately, I wanted salsa with mine and had asked for it earlier. We waited while another group that came after us was served all their food before I could remind her. They do not serve complimentary chips and salsa, which I have seen before in other restaurants but we had only hot sauce on the table. Not my thing. She was apologetic and we ended up with lots of little cups of red and green salsa. The fried plantains were definitely fried until crispy and just a little too dry for me, the sweet carmelized Maduro fan. The crema was a nice touch, though. Fried as advertised a 4/5. My husband ordered the El Limeno Plate. A combo fajita plate basically, it came rockin' and rollin' on a fajita skillet. The side plate was overflowing with rice and beans, a big salad with ranch dressing and two salsas, avocado slices and lime with two homemade tortillas. I knew that I wanted pupusas. They have 10 authentic varieties of pupusa here. They are listed in Spanish, but easily Googled if need be. With our waitress' help, I chose Queso and Jalapeño, Queso and Zucchini and Mixta - pork, cheese and bean - as a plate with rice and beans and a slaw. These pupusas are huge! Just look at my photo! They come out hot, too hot to handle and so I used a knife and fork to eat them with. Three were also too many to order. Seriously. You need a really big appetite. The batter is truly delicious and the cheese is yummy. I recommend getting a meat option for additional flavor. The Zucchini was tasty, the jalapeños were spicy and I enjoyed that flavor the most, otherwise it's a lot of cheese. Their scrumptious beans did make the cheesy ones fuller in flavor. Individual pupusa are $2.99 and a bargain. The slaw was vinegary and cut through that cheesy richness. Cold and crunchy, it also had some darn spicy sliced jalapeños in it. Look out for those! My husband's Salvadoran platter was also a large portion for $17.99. We actually took the platter home. He ate all the delicious rice and beans and salad and that combined with a tamal was a lot of food. I took nearly all of my pupusas home and half the tamals. You will not leave here hungry! There is plenty of strip parking and easy access to the restaurant. We had a good time. ¡Buen provecho!
