The pick 2 menu is extremely deceiving. Half sandwich which is about 4-5 bites for $6, but wait you can pick 2 which gives you a choice of a small mac n cheese, cup of soup, flatbread, etc. Oh wait, the pick two just discounts your sandwich by about 20¢. That small mac n cheese is another $5. Just bought 4 half paninis, 4 scoops of bland mac'n cheese for $46! Forget Subway or another "sandwich place", we could've gone to a Chili's or another sit down establishment and gotten more food. Not going back and I'll be surprised if this Panera survives in the neighborhood for long. Definitely not family budget friendly. read more

Delicious! All the food is very fresh including the pastries and beverages such as tea & coffee. Staff is very nice & helpful. Location is very clean & even has drive through. They do offer lots of veggie options, but also pasta. A nice go-to place when you want fresh soup and/or salad. read more

Panera is my go towhen I'm on the run to work and didn't have time to make myself a sandwich. Drive-through is a nightmare. You literally have to triple check with the drive-through associates. Even if they repeat the order back to you, they will still forget an item you ordered. This will include napkins and utensils. So if you're trying to get Panera on the go make sure you check your bags before you leave. Honestly, it's annoying. Especially when there are no lines, it takes almost 10-15 min for them to have your order "prepared correctly". read more

Came her on June 10th around 4:30pm. Ordered a pick two Mediterranean sandwich. Now, I've ordered this before, last week to be exact. The sandwich the brought me was probably 2 inches wide at the most. Now, go look at the other pick two pictures posted on here and imagine half of a half, that's what they brought me. When I brought it to their attention the guy says (that's what we make, sorry), and attempts to walk off. I stopped him and told him and I order this often and it not normally that small. Then I told him to take it back and just give me my money back. So the manager walks up to me and said (I heard you would like a refund). Nooooo, he didn't ask (what's the problem) or (how can we fix this). He didn't have a care in the world. I don't mind spending money, but give customers what they're paying for. If you want to give me a corner of a sandwich then charge me for exactly that and that's what I will expect. read more

My first trip to the new Panera in Grand Prairie was a good one. I ordered the Caesar salad with grilled chicken. It was perfectly dressed (maybe a little under dressed - but that's ok). Very nice laid-back environment. Nice employees. The kiosk ordering is cool. My favorite part of Panera is the selection of iced teas. I will most definitely be back. read more

Worst service through drive through got home to find a soup that had no broth and my salad tasted like all they put as lwttuce was mint leaves. Not impressed at all the only thing i can say is their oatmeal cookies are very tasty i will give them a star for that i suppose. read more

I normally love to eat at Panera Bread but I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of this new establishment this evening. I arrived at 5:00 with only two other tables of customers yet all of the tables had food crumbs on them. I went to a staff member who was visiting with his coworkers and mentioned how dirty the tables were to which he replied "thank you - we'll get right on that" 40 minutes later (and multiple customers coming in looking for a clean table also) I finally asked for a manager. I spoke with the young shift supervisor and told him how disappointed I was in the cleanliness and the lack of response. He thanked me and went on. 15 min later and still no cleaning. OK I love their bread and their bagels. If you download their app, you get a free pastry. I used the app to order from 15 minutes away, and when I came the order was right there on their shelf and perfect. It was so convenient and tasty. I did the pick two - where you get half of a pizza and a half of a salad and it was more than enough.So glad some good restaurants are finally coming to Grand Prairie. read more

Good Morning World. I ordered breakfast to eat in and they gave me plastic. I only eat at Panera for their breakfast fruit and yogurt. Well, this morning I received my breakfast in plastic. I spoke to the GM and she explained that it is normally prepared in plastic, because they never know if a person will eat it for here or to go. I expressed at the register, so obviously this wasn't the case...it was for here. The buzzer also expressed that it was for here as she had to find the table. In my experiences with Panera, they've never served me plastic when a bowl or dine-in was my request. The GM Danielle says that's the normality. She offered to put it in a bowl, but I'm not looking for any special services. Serving a person plastic and bringing normal dinner ware seems a tad bit tacky. Thank you to all of the other locations over the years, knowing that if you are doing gourmet sandwiches and presentations, to serve a guest that's dining in with plastic says...McDonalds and would not illustrate a Panera style meal. This Panera has messed up our order several times now on separate occasions... I also feel the prices are too high for the quality of food they serve. Especially the salads. Very rarely have I gotten a salad with fresh lettuce and vegetables. Just today I ordered the chicken salad sandwich and it had maybe a tablespoon of chicken salad on it. Horrible drive thru service. It was a long wait to receive my chicken salad, my boyfriend was getting frustrated because he couldn't understand why the wait was so long for a salad. I'm a really nice, patient person so naturally defended them thinking they must be grilling the chicken (this was my first time here). After 15 mins of waiting at the window, we received my salad. All was said was... "here's your salad" then the window was closed in our face. No apologies for the wait or anything. My boyfriend wanted to go inside to complain but we were in a hurry and I was starving. We got home (about 3 mins from the panera location), I opened my salad and the chicken was thin and super cold as if it were prepared before I even ordered it and was just sitting in the refrigerator. I just took out the chicken and heated it up in the microwave. Please tell me why we waited so long in the drive thru to be served cold food? Needless to say, I will not be returning. read more

Extremely slow service at the drive thru. Drive thru speaker system unintelligible. Bags of trash piled up outside the back door immediately adjacent to the drive thru lane, which is always appetizing. Store employee gave us a free muffin and cookie for because of the long wait, which was nice. However, discovered when we got home that the turkey breakfast sandwich, which was supposedly the reason our order took so long, did not even have turkey on it. This place is a mess. read more

I really do love Panera Bread and I enjoy getting lunch there very often. One complaint that I do occur more times than none is finding hair in my food. I never usually go on Yelp to complain but I've called the management and nothing really was resolved. I have ordered flatbreads and have found a small black hair twice. And yet again yesterday my chocolate chip cookie had a small white hair in bedded in it. I have usually just brushed it off and taken the hair out and continued my meal but I'm mostly disappointed that the management has disregarded my complaints when I did call them. So always check your food for hair at this establishment. read more

This is the worse Panera Bread EVER!!! In the 7 months they have been open they have NEVER gotten our orders correct. They either forget part or the order requiring us to go back or do not bake enough of the bread bowls. I have contacted Corporate which gave me a credit and said they would contact upper management. Super disappointed with my to-go order. I ordered the Chicken Frontega sandwich, and it was literally ALL bread with a TINY pile of chicken right in the middle. Couldn't barely taste any of the chicken or the Chipotle sauce either. Had I eaten in the restaurant, I absolutely would have made them re-make the sandwich so I wasn't eating just pure bread with barely any filling. I love Panera, so I'm really bummed that this new location is totally skimping on ingredients. Not even worth the $ I paid for the meal. Be cautious of to-go orders here that can't be remade once you leave the restaurant. I'll go to a location that actually puts enough meat and toppings in their food. read more
