Was in town for a volleyball camp with my daughter. Stopped at this Panera for my favorite coffee and salad. The coffee was definitely stale, which has never happened to me at a Panera before. However, the lettuce at the bottom of my salad was brown. They were very nice and refunded my money for the salad. However, less than two hours later, I was struck down with food poisoning. It took me off my feet for an entire day. Being from out of town, three states away, it was miserable. Again, they refunded my money and were very customer oriented about the situation but I have never had a more obviously, visually bad salad at Panera before. read more

Terrible service! Staff was very rude to other customers while I was waiting for my food. Staff was also having inappropriate conversations loud enough for guest to hear. The kitchen was not clean and staff did not have correct protective wear. The staff was actually joking about how one staff members hair keeps getting on the equipment and possibly customers food. Will not be returning to this location and if I could give ZERO stars I would. Health department needs to visit and better management needed to supervise the staff! read more

Catering/Large Call-in Order process was terrible. Upon calling 20 minutes before arriving just to give a heads up we needed 15 pastries, 15 bagels + cream cheese, 2 coffees and orange juice we were met with an employee huffing and puffing and acting as if we were placing a very heavy burden by bringing them business. We asked if we could do 15 bagels to which she originally said no and that it would be more expensive to do it that way (even though we never mentioned price--as that was not a concern for us, having enough food was but she assumed versus asking us what is a priority). We had to wait around for 10-15 minutes for the order to be completed which was fine. Ariana, I believe was the manager on the phone who saw us come in the store for pickup (we were only people there) and couldn't even greet us. Food quality and packaging was on point and one employee helped us to the car with everything which was very nice. Two stars, not for what Panera has to offer, but for the incredibly consistent mistakes this location makes. I've received: A greek chicken salad with no chicken, tomatoes, olives, a single piece of onion. It was basically just lettuce and feta. A fuji apple chicken salad (hold the onions) with no chicken, no apples, +onions. A turkey avocado BLT that only had turkey on it. No avocado, no B, no L, and no T. Literally just turkey between two dry pieces of bread. Grilled cheese and tomato soup that turned out to be chicken noodle and a baguette. When the order's right, it's not bad, but not great either as other Panera locations are better. Bottom line: check your order at this place. read more

On September 26,2020 I ordered delivery for my parents and aunt from the Stringtown Rd location. Very disappointed! I ordered 3 different salads with chicken-no chicken. Also ordered 3 sandwiches- no meat on the sandwiches!? I called the Stringtown Rd location to see about getting a refund and they said that they would have a manager get back with me? Placed an order through their website for delivery. The order arrived on time however it was incomplete. I called the store to ask for a refund or for them to send the missing items back out. The manager said he could not do either that I had to contact Door Dash. I could not get help from them either. This store falls well below other Panera's we've visited. Panera has decent food that is more health conscious than reg fast food/ restaurants . This Panera's service sucks. First parking can be a challenge, so try to avoid lunch hour. My most recent annoyance with this place is that I ordered a bagel sliced and toasted. I was given a bagel 1/2 sliced but still attached and burned on one edge while not toasted. I seriously said to myself, "did they even look at it before they gave it to me?" I wouldn't serve food like this. I went up and asked the manager for a new bagel and he tossed mine in the trash never apologized. They could of been having a rough morning, but come on people. Don't waste your money here. Also, they only have like 3 high chairs and run out during busy times. read more

Incredibly disappointed. Waited over half hour to get a half salad. When I checked (after 20 min) the response, "we're working on it". Only to have staff ask 10 min later "what did you have?" They then fixed my order in less than 2 minutes! Good grief...never again. read more

Extremely disappointed with my experience this morning. We were passing through town and decided to stop for a few breakfast sandwiches. We waited over 15 minutes for 4 sandwiches and there was not a single other person in the store waiting on food. 2 out of the 4 sandwiches were wrong and get this...one of the halves of the bagel sandwich was dropped on the ground and was replaced with a bread bun. I am highly upset with the service I received while eating here. I ordered the broccoli Mac and cheese with a French baguette. When I received my order I politely told them that it was incorrect because they gave me regular Mac and cheese with a side of chips. They then responded rudely and took the order back. When they returned I received the broccoli Mac and cheese and it was cold but I did not acknowledge that. I received no baguette once again and when I mentioned it, one of the staff said she would go and get it. When she returned she brought the baguette to me with the same exact gloves she never changed and handed it to me with no plate or napkin but with her gloved hand. I couldn't believe how someone could deliver your food while holding it in their hand. I am highly disgusted. read more

They used to set themselves apart from the 'ho-hum' chains with the excellent atmosphere of classical music and quantity for quality, no longer the case. Since they were sold (bought out by the big guys) they went straight to hell. Now they are not much different than any other place you pop into. Yeah, sure, you can sit down with your laptop and have a good cup of coffee, but you'll have to listen to crap over the speakers, and if you have anything else to go along with your coffee, you'll have to order two of anything you buy in order to make it worth your while. Example: Ham & Cheese on rye is now made without 'rye bread'. That's right, they stopped rye bread altogether ever since they were bought out. Really? I thought the name was Panera Bread, oh well. They also cut the portion and it's never consistently made, so you don't know what you'll be getting when you order. Go out and get a pizza somewhere, you'll be way better off. Too bad, this used to be the best Panara in Columbus, the only place you could go and relax to the classical music and great food. read more

The store is filthy and as I'm waiting for my food to get done I look down and see a cockroach. I ordered two avocado turkey blts. The employees were to busy complaining about working to remember to put the avocado on both sandwiches.I sat there in an almost empty store for almost 20 minutes listening to how one kid wants to quit but better get his raise and whine about being held there against his will. As always Panera does it again! Tai Chicken Salad was very good. The atmoshphere in the resturant it always great. The servers come to ask if you need anything. Always there to take away your plates. Great place to meet up with business partners. Nice relaxed environment. read more

12/13/19 I had a bad experience at Panera bread in grove city. First, the girl taking my order was a tad slow (she seemed new- so I was not upset about this at all!) However I was not impressed by the way her team members were treating her. Negative reenforcement is never okay in the food service. Then, as one of the team members were preparing my food I over heard her huff and pout about having to get "5 dressings" that I specifically asked for. I then heard her say rather loudly "who needs 5 dressings?!?!?!" Mind you, they are in an open concept room so everyone around could hear. I then proceeded to get to where she could see me and I told her I was the one who needed 5 dressings. Who cares if I asked for 15? She shouldn't talk rudely about her costumers. My feelings were hurt and I felt embarrassed, I really hope this was an eye opener for this employee. read more

Really enjoy the atmosphere, Customer service is very good, I really like the new procedure of the getting the food delivered to the table. I am so glad Panera has finally come to Grove City. A really nice place to hang out or have a meeting. I am not crazy about the Panera policy of having the customer cleaning up their own dishes because when I separate the paper trash form the dishes I often get food/ soup on my hands and then have to clean my hands with a napkin before I leave. If I am expected to remove my own dishes I would prefer to let the employees separate the paper trash from the dishes. ( a small gripe considering the overall quality of the experience ) read more

The food is good and the service is good, but this location has a real issue with screwing up orders. I placed to-go orders for cream of chicken soup and received chicken noodle, ordered a chicken ceasar sandwich and received a chicken ceasar salad, apple/chips have been left out of my order etc etc. It just seems like they don't pay attention when its take out. read more

Mylesha is a wonderful worker! She's helped me in ways I can't even explain. I got a green goddess for the first time & nearly passed out. It was so good, all thanks to her. The way she stacked the ingredients, it was so exquisite. She hand picked every tomato, she cut every slice of bacon, she was so delicate. I've never been so satisfied in my life. One time I came in & she wasn't working. I asked for the same salad... it was a MESS. The tomatoes were old, the lettuce was wilted, it was not made with love whatsoever. From now on, I only come in if she's working. She's my everything I would give her 10 stars if I could. read more

This location of Panera tends to be quiet busy in the mid evening timeframe. It is a clean location, friendly staff. The food is good no complaints, only downfall was I waited nearly 20 minutes for a deli sandwich and soup. Other than that everything is up to par with other locations. *Note, there was only 3 people ahead of me waiting for food. So a loss of one star for the overwhelming wait for something so simple. read more

Pricey!! Quality of food is above-average but the price you pay for the portion size is ridiculous! The menu board is misleading and confusing: they have a sales gimmick called Pick 2 that makes it look like you're getting a two item combo for one decent price; however you're just being tricked into purchasing two different menu items for around 6 to 8 bucks apiece.. for example if you picked a cup of soup and a half sandwich you would probably be looking a $10 to $15 light lunch with no drink. I have been here several times only because I received a gift card. On my last visit I thought I would just stick with macaroni and cheese. The menu board said 4.99. When I ordered I was asked either cup or bowl. I chose cup. I ended up paying 5.99 for what amounted to about an 8 oz tiny cup. Totally overpriced for noodles with some very soupy cheese sauce. I had been excited to try one of the new summer offerings and finally had an opportunity on 7/17/18. I ordered the 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. I figured since they offered 1/2 a sandwich it must be huge, it's not. On this tiny sandwich there was maybe a tablespoon of chicken salad. It didn't even cover the bread. It also had two slices of unripe tomato and a nice piece of lettuce. The chicken salad that I did get to taste was watery and had nothing but chicken and mayo it seemed. It was very drippy.
