My husbands panini wasn't hot enough I guess they had changed the way they made them and he asked them if they could put it in the panini press again for awhile longer and they did it with no problem. I constantly have a poor expierence at this location...tonight I went and got food for my family and not only did they not give me the correct size of soup they forgot my bread bowls and other extras I had asked for. I waited for about 3o min, with a wait like that I expect my order would be completed properly. The gentleman at the register was nice but as I waited all I heard was the staff complaining but it didn't appear like they were doing anything to get food out faster or correctly. I have done rapid orders from this location a couple of times and every time I get home I don't have all of that I ordered! I used to frequent Panera and don't anymore because there is not a quality location by me. today I happen to be extremely sick and ordered a bread bowl and got home without the bread bowl and just the soup which is the wrong size.. the manager did offer to mail me a freebie for next visit so at least he did that. read more

My wife and I have been ordering from the Lone Tree, CO store for some time (1 1/2 years) between noon and 2 PM and have noticed the last few weeks, especially during the Covid-19, the phone in filled orders have been outstanding! I think this store must have a new manager because the orders have been filled to above expectations compared to the other Panera Bread stores near where we live! They even went out of their way to go to another Panera Bread store to get what we had ordered (they had run out of) on the phone and had it in our order when we arrived at the store for pickup! I placed an order for delivery, and when it arrived I was very disappointed that there were a couple errors with my order. Especially regarding an iced coffee I ordered, which I had paid nearly $6 in total for. I called the store and told them about my concerns, and they happily took care of me to make the situation right. I love Panera bread. I really do! Have been here quite a few times since its across the street I work. But I don't think I will visit this location again. Always understaffed, out of stuff, and not very courteous to guests. I went to grab breakfast and was in line for 15 minutes. By the time my turn came, it was past 11 am, and the lady at the cash counter looked and me and said " I'm just standing here, we are out of breakfast". Funny part was I could still see a ton of Souffles. If they did not want to serve after 11 am, just let the customers know the line is closed. I would definitely not waste my precious time waiting in line in here again. I'd rather just eat at Pei Wei or Einstein Bagels around this area! Always very very courteous and no lines ! read more

My husband and I have come to this Panera Bread location multiple times. Every single time, they are understaffed. Lines are unacceptably long at any time of day, not just rushes. Tables are dirty and not cleaned by employees. Every time we've stayed to eat in, we've had to clean our own table. Even getting something to go has taken at least 30 minutes. Today, we ordered "rapid pickup" with the app. My husband arrived at least 5 minutes after the app said it would be ready, and they hadn't even started the order. 25 minutes AFTER it was to be ready, he finally was able to get our order. This location is dirty (floors, countertops, tables) and very poorly managed. We won't be back. read more

What is the point of quick pick up service, if you have to wait in line to obtain the food you have paid for? I ordered some things specifically on the quick pick up service with hopes that I could just go and pick things up and split. Instead I had to wait in line behind other people to process the order that I had already paid for and verified. Quick pick up fail. Also, when I got to the meeting the bagels were NOT sliced as I had specifically requested on the app AND the cream cheese selections were completely wrong. Sadly, the steak and white cheddar has gone south. The steak is now mostly gristle and stringy. This has happened three times out of three visits. Sadly, management has changed and they are not interested in fixing the problem as they did previously. This bad situation occurred about a year after the previous bad batch of steak. Visits to the Panera Bread in Lone Tree has resulted in the same non-eatable steak. I'm guessing the quality of the steak dropped to keep the cost the same. I love studying at Panera bread. I prefer it over Starbucks just because the food tastes better, and they have coffee so a double score. My favorite is the artichoke sandwich, their veggie pesto soup, and even the simple turkey sandwich is delish. My problem with this location is that it could gets realllyyy cold, I think they keep the AC on at around 65 degrees is what I'm guessing, (perfect temperature when walking around, not so much when sitting in one location for a few hours) so basically, my hands would be freezing as I type on my laptop. I would either have to leave after an hr or so, or had to keep coming back for more hot chocolate, soup or lattes (so maybe they are purposely keeping it cold for this reason). Im always angry at myself for forgetting to bring gloves, so I will probably do that next time. Another thing is that it could get insanely busy at 6pm, families come here with their kids and have their family dinners at this location, which makes it a little less than desirable to be here for studying or reading a good book, or even relaxing for that matter. Although I could block out loud sounds such as side conversations, coffee grinding, intercoms, etc... One of the few sounds that I CAN'T block is the sound of kids screaming and babies crying at the top of their lungs. Even when i'm wearing my headphones, i could hear the sound of babies screaming pierce through my ears. All-in-all, i still love Panera bread, but I probably will need to look for another Panera bread location that is not so baby oriented... Or come at different times. read more

It's fast food--food's fine, relatively inexpensive, and comes pretty quickly. But literally every time I ask for a baguette side, they give me chips. Every time. I thought it was a mistake, one time deal but some how, without fail, I get those dry, tasteless chips. Have not tried ordering chips in an attempt to receive the baguette. May do so. read more

Common theme - dirty, not well kept. We went there for a quick dinner and if I wanted a Chicken Caesar full of freaking croutons, I just would've ordered bread. The restaurant itself was disgustingly dirty, unattended too and very loud. That location, located in a nice area, used to be more well taken care of, now we wont return. The last two times I ordered to go from here, the order was missing something. It might also help to split the pickup section for to go orders and in house orders so it's not so crowded in one area of the restaurant. I love Panera. I've eaten at many of them at different locations. I went yesterday for a quick bowl of soup and a half sandwich. I waited for over 30 minutes for my food to be served. There were mobs of other people waiting, many had food that never showed up or somebody else might have grabbed by accident. I've worked in the restaurant business and understand how challenging it can be, but goodness gracious, this just required pouring a bowl of already cooked soup and slapping together a sandwich. I maintained calm and somewhat understanding until the staff started getting an attitude when I asked where I was on the list. After reading the other reviews and seeing this problem has existed for awhile, I will not be back. read more

Didn't really enjoy my service here. The girl who was taking my order was completely disengaged. Didn't look like she enjoyed working. I've had better service from other employees here at this location. Love the food here but didn't necessarily love the service this time around. She didn't offer to have my rewards entered she also didn't give me suggestions of sides which should be something they ask every time. Panera Bread is definitely one of the better fast food chains out there. The food is always pretty solid and doesn't taste super processed. From each Panera Bread to the next, the quality of food is very similar. I'm always a fan of the menu items listed. For a fast chain bakery type place, the bread and bakery goods are actually quite tasty. At this specific Panera Bread, there is a female cashier who is really nice. But, I haven't had a bad service here in general. Also, I think that having tables next to the fire place is a nice touch. This Panera has a nice vibe and it's a great meeting spot to have a quick meal with a friend in the Highlands Ranch area. read more

We visit this Panera location 3-4 times a month because it is close to home. We usually order the "pick 2" soup & salad combo. The food is consistently healthy, fresh, and comes with a piece of freshly baked bread. It is great the way Penera posts the calorie counts and nutritional information on the menu. My only problem with the Penera concept in general is you have to go pickup your own food and bus your own table at the end of the meal. This makes me wonder how often the tables get wiped down? Many times we find the tables dirty from previous guests and it is nearly impossible to find an employee to clean them. This location caters to several high schools close by and at lunchtime there are usually lots of large groups of teenagers dinning there. We don't mind kids, just be aware it can be loud at times. read more

DREADFUL. I have been a long time costumer here meaning I've been coming here for about 10 years on and off but after what went down i will never be stepping foot in this establishment. I got turkey avocado blt with chips (because the didn't have baguettes of rolls) when i got it i was expecting a nice toasted sandwich with nice ripe fresh avocado. Instead i got bread that was soggy from the turkey and avocado that was rock solid (which means it's not ripe.) Do NOT go to this Panera location UNLESS you want to triple the time it takes to get an order because they will mess it up, listen to the extremely unprofessional employees talk trash about you and the other customers while using cuss words and other inappropriate language, and watch your food being prepared in a place too dirty to serve food. I have never written a Yelp review, but this experience was so awful that I had to warn people about this place. My husband and I went into this location and ordered two breakfast sandwiches to go. Simple enough, right? We get home to find two completely different sandwiches that we clearly did not order. We ordered an avocado with egg whites sandwich and steak and egg sandwich and we received a bacon sandwich and a sausage sandwich. My husband had even double checked that the order was under his name. That's not a mistake, that's pure LAZINESS!!! We drove back to get the right sandwiches and they had run out of the ingredients to make our order. The shift manager was very professional and helpful. She immediately took care of us and refunded our money back and paid for two new lunch sandwiches. She was familiar with the important business practice of treating customers like you ACTUALLY want their business. She was the ONLY professional, friendly person in the entire place so that's why this is still only one star. I would give the experience with her 5 stars. While we waited for our new order (which by the way still ended up being made wrong!) we had the pleasure of listening to three employees preparing our food as they insulted customers, including ourselves. Every customer waiting for their food looked very uncomfortable. One of the employees joked about telling a customer who had requested a plastic knife to shove that knife up her ass. The other employee responded by talking about how much of a bitch the customer was. To hear employees loudly insulting customers while cussing directly in front of those PAYING customers is absolutely unacceptable. When my husband told the employees that we could hear everything they were saying, the one male employee became immediately defensive and said "So?". This employee basically said we don't care about customers or what you think. My husband and I will never be returning to this location, or any Panera for that matter, ever again. This is just one of many horrible experiences that we have had at multiple Panera locations. We never have this problem with Chick-fil-A! It's so disappointing because we love the food, but it's never worth the frustrating experience that takes way more time than it should and leaves you feeling incredibly pissed off. read more

This panera was extremely disappointing. Coffees were 3 hours old, not one not two, but three. As a former panera employee, I was shocked to find that the coffee was expired. This location lets dozens of customers pile up and has lines out the door daily because it is short-staffed and refuses to open more than two of the four registers at a time. I am waiting for my food currently and ordered after standing in line for 15 minutes. Now I Have been here 25 minutes and am still waiting for my cup of soup (mind you, Panera is like fast food). There is no excuse for the lines to be like this every day. Very average for the price. My salad was lettuce, chicken (a small amt) and some tortilla strips and a few handfuls of almonds. Looked nothing like the photo and had no flavor. Hands down the worst experience in a Panera Bread in any part of the country I've been to. Went in on a Friday night around 8 after returning from a trip. The place was absolutely filthy-trash on the floor behind the counter, trash under the tables, restroom out of soap, slippery floor in food pickup area. All what appeared to be high school kids working there except one adult in a blue Panera polo who looked like he was working "behind the scenes". But he definitely was not cleaning up...dishes piled high in receptacles, tables covered with crumbs and spilled drinks. Against my better judgement, I ordered a Fuji chicken apple salad from a very sullen looking young lady ( I heard her tell the woman in front of me they were out of strawberries, so that narrowed your salad choices). I hunted for a semi clean table. The Salad I got had chicken, some coated with Mexican spice, and the salad contained remnants of roasted corn. Lettuce tasted like metal. There were some stale apple pieces and a very small amount of their apple dressing...I think I just got whatever they could scrape from the bottom of their containers. Yuck. Didn't even finish the salad. Tried to get an iced tea but they were out and apparently once they're out, they're out. Sign on the door says they close at 9 but at 8:30 they were shutting down. Some girl was cleaning the bread racks with a giant brush...customers still in the store but oblivious to them; this was the most energy I saw anyone display since I entered the place. All this makes me really sad...Panera used to be really great with quality food...and now it's beyond disgusting. It also makes me mad...their prices haven't decreased like their food quality, and they boast in their ads "100% clean food". Far from it. Clearly a management and pride issue!
