If you have read many of my recent reviews. I am I my Panera era. Never been to this one, so decided to try another new location. I ordered my food as I normally do on the app, went to pick it up and realized I ordered to the Anaheim location I was at the day before. My mistake 100%, but they were so nice. Told me to call the other location to cancel it and replace the order for their location. Did just that and the cancelled it without issue, refunded me and I replaced the order and I was good to go. Thank you very much for taking care of it, even though it was totally my fault, great service. Got my normal order, Ranch Cobb with chicken, sub green goddess dressing, apple, drink and some Asiago bagels for later. Yum! I really like the La Cañada Flintridge area and this location seems newer and is nice inside, clean, lots of seating inside and out, great spot for working lunch or whenever. I highly recommend joining the sip club, well worth it and always look for coupons to save on your purchase. Enjoy!

Panera is Panera food and drinks are ok but it's convenient. The place is clean and comfortable. But I have to say I received excellent service today so thumbs up for that!!

This place gets worse and worse with every time I order. Last time I ordered a smokehouse BBQ chicken there was a long hair inside, see the picture attached. I am done, never going to order anything from here anymore.

What the heck Panera bread I ordered two dozen bagels and this is how you give it to me just loose in a shopping bag what is going on? I ordered this for work. I can't take this to work like this... APPARENTLY you discontinued boxes?? Why on earth would you do that?? Who wants 2 dozen bagels tossed in a shopping bag??

We've been to this location of Panera Bread a number of times. The last visit wasn't the best we've experienced there. Felt like they were tired of trying to keep a consistently positive offering, and were giving up. The cashier was very friendly, and tried to be helpful. They usually do have good customer service at the ordering station. Where the let downs came were that many of the food items were already sold out. I'd been snacking at an event at Descanso Gardens, so didn't want anything heavy. Would have been happy with a bowl of soup. Sadly, everything non-dairy was long gone. I ended up ordering a non-dairy smoothie. Not the same thing. We had Sweet Granddaughter with us, who was craving mac & cheese. That was accomplished, but what a shocking small portion for $7.29! It did come with a small sleeve of yogurt, but no beverage. I was shaking my head when I realized what we'd paid and what we got for it. Dear Hubby was hungry, so he ordered Chicken & Pepperoni Mozzarella Melt - Stacked Toasted Baguette on the Pick 2 menu, not realizing that the Melt alone was over $13. Then his second choice soup (they were out of chili) was almost $7 for a cup. He got a "deal" on a bear claw. Still, I didn't have anything other than the smoothie, and an adult meal and a kids meal, plus one pastry ended up being almost $50. Makes one want to only cook at home any more. I realize food prices are up / labor is up. But dang, for $50 it would be nice to feel like the restaurant cared about what they were providing. The carpeted floors needed to be cleaned throughout the place. Some of the tabletops needed attention, as well. The location just felt careworn; in need of a refresh. If we go again, we would be sure we have a coupon or other deal first, because the cost isn't in alignment with the value.

GREAT FOOD, AMAZING SERVICE, AND SUPER CLEAN! We drove from Burbank, to Glendale Panera (300 brand ave) and they were sold out of...bread? Panera bread was sold out of bread! So the next step was Panera in La Canada. Ahhh, best decision ever! Food: 5/5 The food was amazing, in all honesty. I've had the worst luck at multiple Panera's, which really sucks because when it's cold there's nothing like a good soup, and when it's hot there's nothing like a fresh salad. My niece and nephew are very picky, and even they liked the food! The bread bowls were delicious, fresh, soft, with crispy edges. Yum. The Mac and everything was just delicious, honestly. Price: 4.5/5 I felt $52.00 for 3 is a bit pricy, but in all honesty that's just what it cost to go out to eat now. The bowls were about 12.00 Ea, drinks, and salad it somehow all was 50+. In my opinion, most if it was worth the price! I wish they had a reward system with the amount you spend/ points lol Service: 5/5 They're so incredibly nice here! Just about every Panera I've been to, has the rudest workers possible. However, this one had such a great team!!! The cooks were so damn nice!!!they asked us several times if we needed anything, I constantly saw one guy cleaning the lemonade station over and over. There's nothing like a clean and happy restaurant! All around: 6/5 I will be back to this location again!

French onion soup in bread bowl delicious

Where else can you get soup in a bread bowl!? Panera does a great job with their French onion soup. I loved it in the bread bowl! I actually had no idea bread bowls were on their menu until now and am pleasantly surprised. Their passion papaya green tea is really good too. I liked mixing it with some of their agave lemonade and you can add water if it's too sweet for you. The only thing I would ask them to improve on is there home style chicken soup. It literally looks like they opened a can of Progresso and dumped it into a bowl! Please use fresh chicken...when I make chicken soup it does not look like that weird pinkish tinge canned soup stuff and yet theirs has that same weird look.

Toasted Italiano with Broccoli Cheddar Soup

you know, the thing about Panera bread is that their food is actually really good and their soups are very underrated, this is especially true If you live in an area that does not have a lot of places that offer a variety of decent soups. the issue with the Panera bread chain is that they are very badly managed and very horrible at executing their customer service and their employees throughout almost all of their locations anyways, at this location specifically I ended up getting the hot Italiano sandwich with a broccoli and cheddar soup and it was pretty good. the issue was that I waited roughly 15 minutes to order my food, even though I was the next person in line. It seemed like there was an abundance of employees, just walking around some of which did not seem to be doing anything, but there was only one person taking orders upfront. that would've been fine too, except he was also multitasking and doing other things mid order (not just cutting the bread). they do offer a self checkout monitor at the front as well, but there was a huge line behind me and the monitor seemed occupied by another guest for just as long. oh, and it's also worthy to mention that if you need somewhere to sit down and study, then this might be a good place (if you don't mind people and some background noise).

    Old sour tomatoes

Keep in mind we've eaten at many Paneras but after this visit may not ever again . After a hefty 50+ dollar tab everything we got was not good in some way right down to the drinks . Service was very slow with hardly any pastry to choose from and when the asked if they had any fresher in the back I was told " this is what we have " at 4:45pm on a Thursday? Okay . The tea dispensary was so dirty I should have went with my gut but I tried the tea in spite of my better judgement . It tasted very old and bitter and was extremely cloudy not what ice tea should be . As for the other options of Panera's usually amazing drinks ? There were small pitchers of everything with stickers on them clearly staying they should have been poured out 2 hours ago. So that was a no go for us as well. The veggie sandwich I got had tomatoes that had a bit of a sour odor to them and looked old and my husbands soup wasn't soup it was basically the thickness of mashed potatoes and begged for more liquid to actually make it a soup. The other person in our party did love the Mac n cheese but they got his salad wrong and we were just done at that point and didn't even bother letting the woman with the green shirt and tattoos know because she rolled her eyes when we asked for fresher tea. It's sad to see such a great company going to down hill that you never want to return but there are plenty of other places where the staff is courteous and the product is fresh .

Today, on Mother's Day, we ordered avocado toast and quiche with salad. After waiting nearly 40 minutes, our food finally arrived -- and I was honestly shocked by the portion size and the poor quality of the avocado toast (I'll attach the photo). After politely speaking to the waiter and waiting for assistance, no one came back. I eventually had to go inside myself and speak directly to the owner. Instead of resolving the issue properly, she simply said they couldn't remake it and offered "extra avocado" instead. After waiting another 5 minutes, she told me to go sit outside and they would bring it out. They brought very tiny avocado slices. What should have been a beautiful Mother's Day experience was completely ruined. In the end, my husband had to go inside and request a refund. We are beyond disappointed and will never return. Customers deserve kindness, respect, and proper service -- and sadly this place no longer offers any of that. Avoid this place if you value good service and being treated with respect.

My mother‑in‑law and our family friends had been before and spoke very highly of it. We originally booked a reservation for three people for Mother's Day, and when our friends became available, the restaurant was kind enough to expand it to six. They offered us a lounge area since they were fully booked, and we appreciated the effort to accommodate us on such a busy holiday. Parking was crowded because of the occasion, so we arrived a little late. Once we checked in, the staff seated us in the lounge setup, which had five couch‑style seats and one regular chair that did not quite match the arrangement. We asked if any other tables were available because the terrace looked fairly open, but we were told the lounge was the only option unless we preferred to sit indoors. We chose to stay outside, and although it felt a little unusual to see open terrace tables throughout our visit, we still enjoyed the atmosphere. Service was friendly and attentive. There were a couple of small hiccups, such as our seasonal pizza being forgotten during a server switch and our fries being left off the order. Everything else arrived smoothly, and the Descanso Member drink was a highlight. It was refreshing, flavorful, and a great value. Overall, we enjoyed our visit, especially the beautiful setting. I look forward to coming back another time to sit at their large bar for a cocktail and an appetizer.

But these two angels were great and happy to hear the suggestion of Hawaiian food for dinner. We went straight to Aloha Kids (not even stopping at our hotel before hand). The restaurant is so well decorated to me. I loved being in their space! The patio was their catering pick up (next day was Thanksgiving). It was busy! There was a constant stream of people coming and going. Inside Aloha Kids is smaller and narrow with few places to sit. They have a shelf with merch and I recognized some artists from the Bay Area in there! The person helping us told me they like to support small businesses and they were definitely doing so. Now, on to the most important part: the food. I ordered the Kalbi ribs, my husband ordered the loco moco, and our nieces ordered the chicken teriyaki and a spam musubi to share. The ribs were super tender and so good. I almost didn't want to offer my husband one. But I did and he really enjoyed it. He loved his loco moco so much, he barely spoke a word to me while he was eating. Our niece also really enjoyed their food and polished off their plates (just like us). My husband also ordered a side of their kimchi and it was DELICIOUS. The only thing we noted was the mac salad needed a little something, but we enjoyed it nonetheless. If we're ever back in the area, we're definitely coming back and trying other things on their menu!

I have to say I am extremely disappointed…read more 76 dollars for 3 plates. SMH. And before I go on, mochiko chicken is the only dish worth eating here. Now let's begin. Walked into a restaurant where you don't get greeted upon entry, the girl walking around just smiles at you with no words. No hello, nothing. Not even an Aloha! I've been to the big island, there's endless praises everywhere. You did not get the vibe here. First time we came here we were wowed by the food. Portions were great at first. Once we got our orders yesterday, I knew our time had come. Cant support places that over charge for no apparent reason. Plain and simple. Chicken thighs are 2-3 dollars a pound, beef is like 8-10 dollars a pound. I use to be in the food industry and to see the portions of food here the second round. Either it shows they are hurting bad, or the chef "was having a bad day?" I just don't believe that. And I can assure you they are not using halal nor organic meats for them to justify portion to pricing. Back to my first remark like I mentioned above, mochiko chicken is the only dish I recommend if someone is coming for their first time. Soft tender chicken bites sprinkled with some nori like seasoning. Rice scoop and the infamous sad Mac salad. The Mac salad needs love. Serious revamping. I make an authentic island style Mac salad time to time. Far better than this recipe. I also ordered the Galbi which I did not appreciate the bait and switch. Since I've ordered it before and this time it was not cut into strips. Last I checked with the numerous photos posted here on yelp. The version we received just wasn't it. Everyone gets a decent portion of meat. Nothing chewy or even with bones. I even said to my mother in law she is going to love this dish. And she hated it. They still had the bones of the sliced short rib on, VERY FATTY, very chewy. Such a let down. And last the Dinosaur ribs. I asked about them and was given a hand comparison to sizing. Not gonna lie this wasn't it either. There was almost no meat. Was the cow taking ozempic? Google Dinosaur Ribs. No seriously Google, Dinosaur ribs. I mean you guys need some help if you think what I got was dinosaur ribs. Definitely gotta 86 this item or give people what they actually deserve. If you're going to serve a dish and call it dinosaur ribs, atleast provide a dinosaur portion of meat on them. I mean poor execution. Flavor was decent, but having to chew the bottom connective tissue was unappealing and far from appetizing. 68 dollars plus an 8 dollar tip was too steep for this lack luster rendition of what Hawaiian food is and should be.

Bottomless drinks really do exist here. On top of that, caroll suggested strawberry lemonade and passion fruit ice tea in lieu of my normal Arnold Palmer that's my go to on account of being out of lemonade. The resulting concoction I've lovingly dubbed: The Susie Summers. Official ratios still being tweaked but: 40% Strawberry lemonade 60% Passion Fruit Iced Tea Garnish with a lemon wedge and sprig of mint. While I had the Black Cow burger it wasn't of paricular note, it was pleasant BUT I did order it medium well, out of an abundance of caution for a new place. I'm very confident that trying it medium rare will likely improve the beef flavor. Overall a tasty burger regardless. However, the chicken pot pie my partner ordered was plated beautifully and had a wonderful puff pastry atop a very savory and delightfully seasoned filling. I definitely think it was a show stopper. I even asked Caroll to surprise me with a random dessert, and let me tell you, the Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake is what dreams are made of. Very nicely sweet with a filling to knock your socks off. Oh the joys of new sights and smells. Cheers!

Tutti perfecti!…read more Butternut squash ravioli was out of this world. Probably the best I've ever had, including in Italy. The sauce was so creamy and rich with the perfect hint of sage. I could have taken a quart of it home! The ravioli itself was perfectly cooked, generously stuffed with filling, and the taste of the butternut squash really came thru cleanly. The portion & the quality felt well worth the price, which is rare these days. An utter joy. Every bite was heaven. This will be a dish that I think about often. Mushroom risotto was delicious! Super soft mushrooms, great flavor, nicely cooked. I normally don't enjoy much rooms because they can get...squeaky. These were a generous amount, silky and smooth, and imparted a lot of great mushroom flavor to the rice. Another dish I'd order again anytime! We've also had both the lasagna and the gnocchi (w panna) and enjoyed them. The gnocchi in particular were so well made, just the perfect texture, pillow soft and a generous portion. You get a choice of sauces so I'd come back and try these with another sauce in the future just to see how that is. The panna was a lovely cream sauce with a light shallot flavor. I enjoyed it more and more as I ate and the sauce thickened. It was delivered pipping hot, so you have time to let the sauce set before digging in. Arugula & raddichio salad was SO fresh, delicious light dressing, excellent cheese. They kindly split this on two plates for us to share. Ever subsequent time we have ordered a salad they automatically do us this kindness. Very thoughtful. We have also tried the spinach and pear salad special of the day, which was delightfully tender spinach, tasty pears and an aged cheese in a wonderfully fresh dressing. I love their salad specials! We also had the special of the day appetizer which was buratta, prosciutto e melone. Delightful! The melon was crunchy & sweet, the prosciutto was great, and the buratta was so creamy. Service was excellent. Everyone who works here is very knowledgeable, friendly and efficient. They always have amazing specials, so be sure to ask about those. We have ended up ordering some of those every time we have been here. One of my favorite Italian places in all of LA. The quality is consistent, the menu is varied, the specials are actually special, and the covered outdoor patio area is great in all seasons. We will be back many times, I am sure.

The parents should have just taken their food to go, but they just sat there and let their kids scream the whole time. My husband and I stayed calm, but my son was ready to snap lol. We would have never stayed in a restaurant while our child was screaming when he was little. Holy cow. Anyway, beyond the nerve wracking screaming we really loved everything we ordered. I ordered the sole with capers and fresh veggies. My son loved his gnocchi. I think my husband ordered the angel hair pasta.

Wow. That's all. This place is legit. The filet shish kabob…read morewas so tender and perfectly spiced. I could have eaten that all day. The chicken was juicy and mouthwatering deliciousness. The lamb was gamey, packed with flavor. We enjoyed every bite and can't wait to try this place out again. We ordered takeout, food was ready on time, service was great. Parking is a bit challenging since it's only street parking, but that's Montrose :P

The Seasoning Alley Mediterranean restaurant in Montrose…read more showed promise but landed somewhere in the middle. Here are some impressions from our visit earlier today. The restaurant is a casual, clean spot and has a welcoming environment. Service was attentive and friendly. Our salad was fresh and delicious and the meal portions were large and plentiful. Good hearty sized plates but low on taste and quality. Unfortunately, the pita was one of many low points. The pita arrived cold and slightly stiff, not warm and soft as we'd hoped. It lacked the toasty, chewy texture that makes pita so comforting and effective for scooping up dips and bites. Another low point was that our rice was barely warm, almost cold. Not good. The worst part of our meal had to be the hummus. It was almost frozen and tasted as if it was just scooped out of the freezer. Terribly disappointing. Our Chicken Kabob had a tender interior with a nicely charred exterior. The spices and marinade showed potential, but the overall flavor profile didn't quite soar beyond the ordinary. Wouldn't call it standout, yet it wasn't bad. It was just barely okay. The falafel tasted fresh, but the exterior could have used a bit more crispness. Interior was moist enough, with chickpea flavor present, though it didn't leave a lasting impression. Our overall impressions were that our meals were just barely okay for a casual dinner, but it didn't move into the "great" category. We were disappointed. We expected better quality. For improvement, heating the pita and rice to perfection and dialing in the falafel crust would elevate the overall experience. A touch more depth in the chicken kabob seasoning or a signature sauce could help distinguish the dishes. If you're in the mood for a low-key Mediterranean option with reliable service, this spot is worth a try. It's a safe bet for an okay meal, with good service and good size portions for a casual night out with friends or family. Considering their prices, for repeat visits, I'd hope to see more consistency across staples like the rice, pita and falafel, and a bolder finish on the kebabs to push the overall rating from "good but not great" to "really good." Pita and rice arrived cold. The Falafel could have been crisper. Chicken kabob flavor could be more distinct. The Hummus was horrible. Next time, I'll pass on this place. Cheers!
