What a horrible experience- food cold apparently it was ready way before we were told on app. Staff was rude and not friendly, they were actually upset because I showed up way after food was ready, based on what my app said I showed up only 2 minutes after said time. The steak & cheese sandwich, Asian salad and Thai soup was totally uneatable. The experience was so horrible that we will never come back! I used to out for Sunday breakfasts with my ex when our schedules allowed it. One thing I still do for myself is go out for breakfast and get my car washed. I normally go to local places. On my cross country trip my brother and I went to Panera and I had the four cheese soufflé. I have been thinking about this for about two weeks. This Sunday I decided to go to Panera. I don't normally think of this as a place for breakfast, but I am definitely adding this one into my rotation. Seriously the four cheese soufflé is to die for. I went to another location and they were out. Vi called ahead the first time I called I got hung up on immediately. That cost a star...sorry! The food itself was very good; I was disappointed that the restaurant did not offer neither a senior discount nor a military discount. I have always loved this Panera, and because they are really close, it's super convenient. The only downside now is due to the fact they don't have their own delivery drivers anymore. They now use DoorDash/Uber eats for their drivers. Today was a frustrating experience because the driver did not follow the instructions to notify me when my food arrived and it sat outside in the cold for a good 10mins. By the time I realized my food had been outside it was already cold. This is no fault of Panera's, but I wish they would get their own drivers back. read more

I gave it 2 stars because the food was actually really good but the customer service was terrible. From the order taker to the dining in experience. The young lady who took the order was not friendly. The lady who was working in the lobby was slamming dishes and making lots of noise as if she didn't want to be there. She came to our table and slammed our plates down. Let's just say it seemed as though the though the staff that day was a bit on the racist side. They were quite welcoming to the others but not to us Colored folk. The manager came on the floor greeted and took the Non-Colored people who was right across from our table plates and everything from their table and completely ignored my table. Came here for lunch and to do some Studying & Work. A friend of mine highly recommended this place because of the relaxed atmosphere and FREE Wifi. I've passed it 100's of times and have never been here. This was my first visit. Since it was lunchtime, I was hungry and ordered the Italian Combo Sandwich with Kettle Chips & a Bottle of Water. The menu is simple and you don't get to pick the toppings of your Sandwich....so that was a bummer to me....I like to select my toppings. Oh well, no big deal. On a positive note....they post the # of calories for each menu item....that was helpful....1,040 calories for my Sandwich + 180 Calories for the Chips....I was at 1,220 for the meal...not bad. The place is a Bakery and had a ton of fresh Bread & Pastries....all very tempting, but I didn't want to pass out from food coma....I had to get some work and homework done. I settled into a small table and setup the wireless on my laptop while I waited for my food. It didn't take long and the food was ready. I dove into the Sandwich....the Bread was pretty good and the proportion of Meat and toppings was good too. It was good, but not great. After lunch I moved over to a plush chair in the corner and got to work....got some work done and hung out for a couple of hours. It was very comfortable. Will I return? I think of Panera Bread as comfort food for me. The food here reminds me of food you'd get at a Bed & Breakfast. Or, food your neighbor's cousin's sister's mom use to make when you were a kid. The menu is basically sandwiches, soups, and salads. But there's enough on the menu to satisfy almost everyone. One thing about Panera Bread is that their food is always fresh and price is even better. You can even getaway with a sandwich and soup for less than $10. My order is usually the same...turkey something. Either I'm getting a turkey in a panini or their smoked turkey sandwich. Also don't be surprised if I get my turkey with extra meat. The restaurant itself, along with their service, is always right on. I tend to frequent Panera Breads that are located inside shopping malls, which tend to be smaller. So you can imagine the shock when I walk into a freestanding or strip mall PB. I had a great time on my last visit, more of those great times to come. PB is one of my favorite lunch stops! it's near my work, yummy veg options, veggie minestrone soup, bagels, pasta, salads, grilled cheeses. I recommend getting a Panera rewards card so you rack up those points and use it for free drinks or pastries. Also- call ahead to place your lunch order and have it ready usually within 10 minutes. Walk in and leave in no time. No wait! My big pet peeve here. Some may laugh, but this is a big visual peeve that we maintain and keep looking fresh throughout the day at my company. Please, please take that extra minute and have someone clean your entrance/exit doors. If I walk up to a visual multitude of sweaty palm prints, smeared fingers, and god knows what else.... am I really going to feel a sense of cleanliness towards my food prep? This is huge. I love this place. Their soups, salads, sandwiches all taste delicious...you can't go wrong. I always get the "Pick 2 combo" and it costs $7.99. You can choose any 2 items from the lists of sandwiches, salads or soup and it comes with a choice of chips or fruit (i think?). Soup and sandwich is the way to go. NOTE: It CAN get crowded/busy during weekday lunch hours. So plan accordingly if you a pressed for time. Also, parking can suck. I usually go for salad and soup with tonight's choice for dinner being their Power Spinach salad and Bistro Onion soup--the combo looked good on the giant picture behind the cash registers. The first thing I noticed when I walked in, though, was the red velvet cookies--hmmm, those are new. And, as you can see, sugar plays such an important role in my diet that I'm drawn to the baked goods first. I have been coming here since 2005, I was very disappointed to find out how cold and irreverent staff have become during this Pandemic. It's like all of the sudden the Pandemic is a justification for Companies and service industry providers to give a poor customer service and justify every single incapable and careless service they now provide. From having the manager sit by herself in the only big table available and dictating the rules to us with a frivolous character. A table that she later left without sanitizing. Separating our family of 6 with 4 minors ages 7-12 with a table in between, forcing us to walk between tables with our food walking back and forward, because no One cared to informed us when we ordered our food that they now require only 4 people siting in one table, even when we leave together in the same house. Exposing our children to the Virus even more by having to walk back and forward to share the family meal pack that we ordered. We are now told what to do and how to do it by anyone ignorant or not by politicians, store clerks and anyone without a medical or scientific degree to dictate our lifes. Is the end of freedom and liberties in this country. Soon we will see a police state like we see in Europe. Our politicians asked us to stay home and we did, close our non essential business and we did, wear a mask and we did, avoid contact with other people and we did, don't gather for the holidays and we did, now we have to put up with separating our own families we leave with. When does it STOP? Shame on all of US for allowing this, Benjamin Franklin once said, "When people are willing to sacrifice their own Freedom for the Sense of FALSE SECURITY, they Don't deserve any of the two". We went here last weekend after working out. I've been to Panera before and have always liked it, but had not been in probably over a year. There food is fresh and relatively healthy, so I'm not sure why I don't come for often. Anyway, we passed it on our walk home from the gym and decided to stop in for a bite to eat. We split a Thai Chopped Chicken Salad and a Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich. I really liked the fact that they had the calories posted. Especially since we'd just got done working out and I was more calorie-conscious than usual. Many of the items sounded delicious so I was able to narrow down my choice in part by looking at the calories. The salad was big and fresh. The dressing wasn't my favorite ever, but it was okay. I did really like that the salad had edamame which was an interesting twist. The sandwich was pretty good. It was chocked full of chicken, grapes and almonds. It was moist without being drowned in mayo. Panera has really good, fresh salads and sandwiches. They're better than most chain sandwich places. Not sure why I don't go here more often. Been coming to this location for about 6 years now and all I can say is it's gone way downhill. Nikki was VERY rude and stayed swiping on her phone behind the register as we placed our order. She did not offer the meal upgrade (pastry for $1) and when I asked for my side bread to be toasted she pointed behind us and said "microwaves right there" Our food came and it was alright, everything was decent and fine. Ice machine doesn't work and one of the lemonade aerators didn't work either so the drinks weren't cold at all. When we finally left we noticed there were no regular lids at the drink station so we went to the front to ask for some and Nikki said "is there no more over there?" I have held off giving this Panera location a negative review for about five years now but after today I can't anymore. My husband went to pick up breakfast. He ordered me the egg white and spinach sandwich on a ciabatta as I do not like the whole grain roll. The cashier said "egg and cheese" three times and three times he corrected her until she said "yes that's what I said!". I open the bag when he gets home and it has cheese, regular egg, and a layer of egg white. No spinach or anything else with any flavor. How many time does someone have to correct you before you listen? Also, why would someone order regular egg and then add egg white to it? Last time I bother with this location! It's a everywhere and it's nothing unique but it's mostly fresh and they have mostly healthy options for mostly reasonable prices. The half/half combos available for all their soups, salads, and sandwiches make this place a constant lunchtime stop for me. The Fontana grilled cheese. The tortellini Alfredo pasta. The Cesar. All classics and all done fairly well here. The negative: the sweeping. Nearly every time I've been here someone has come by my table and started sweeping the carpet with a brush broom... Over and over and over. Besides the dust that I'm sure it's putting into the air (and my food) it also makes a whole lot of noise and takes away from the meal. Couldn't wait any longer since Im pregnant and was starving we ask for a refund the manager apologize and told us that two of his employees just quit on him so they're were shorthanded, what The understanding of the restaurant business I can see being shorthanded will Set you back but not 45 minutes for a bagel and a small sandwich. That's not being the managers fault but the lack of staff and the staff that was there not showing any care that people are waiting for food. I absolutely love Panera. I love the pick any 2. I always by the Bacon Turkey Bravo & the French onion soup when available. This experience at this particular location was different then my other times at Panera because there was this guy I didn't catch his name but I came in at around 6:30pm on February 3rd & he was running food & bussing tables, but his work ethic was phenomenal. I am a waitress & I observed how he was attentive to every customer & even to me when I asked for my soup to be heated up a little hotter. When he was bussing tables he even went above & beyond to clean up the floor with a towel after a family with three kids had left. I always appreciate good employees with a good help review so that their management knows when their employees are doing a amazing job. Update: (06.04.16) at around 7:30 Came here again and once again the staff is excellent! From the lady behind the register to the nice young man running food and bussing plates from tables. He was very good at his job and deserves praise from management! He was very attentive and walked around ensuring everyone was okay and plates were cleared off from people who were sitting! It can get so busy on a Saturday that the line is out the doors. staff is inefficient to move the line. and the place just looks and feels dirty. Worst Panera!!! Coffee is often out. Tables need to be cleaned!! Service is nonexistent. Whenever we ask a nonbusy person for something, it is always passed on to a busy person....not my job, but her job attitude. This happens every time, so maybe that's the culture in this panera. Poor customer service. I placed an order for rapid pickup and there was nothing rapid about it. I guess due to the neighborhood they do not allow you to pick up your order as the rapid pickup is located behind the counter. There was a long line in the store and it was difficult to get an employee to offer any assistance. They act like they don't see you standing there seeking assistance. Ahhhh Panera! Love it! Wish there was a closer one! Miss my quick drives to the Panera for a nice lil quaint lunch or breakfast on the go. Bagels are always awesome, and freshly made. Pastries always melt in my mouth. Soups are always hearty and healthy. Ambiance (for those not acquainted with Panera, think Starbucks, but BIGGER, and more variety!) So yes, college student, bring your laptop and study here! I have seen everything from corporate interviews (not for Panera by the way), to high school projects, college study groups, social gatherings, even people working from Panera vs. an office cubicle. Walking into the cafe I was greeted by a friendly "hello welcome in" from one of the staff. As i approached the counter to order, the cashier Chelsee asked if my order was going to be for here or to go. When i said for here she proceeded to tell me (with a very unfriendly tone) that the dining room was full. If the dining room was full, why even offer a table? I go ahead with my order for a large broccoli mac and cheese and ask if i can have it in a bread bowl. Chelsee then tells me (again with attitude) that this is only available in a small. I say okay thats fine ill just take a large. Next she asks me if I have a rewards (i give her my phone number, i frequent panera bread so i know i have rewards) and she says that phone number is invalid. Since I was on my lunch break I say "thats okay ". As I'm waiting for my meal, I see Chelsee bagging someones cookies without gloves or washing her hands. I dont think thats safe during COVID-19. Out of all times ive been to Panera Bread I have never experienced attitude like this. The girl who took the order, Sarah, also made the food and delivered and completely eased my worries about feeding the guests. She was so sweet and helpful and arrived right at the time I asked. Customer service did not exceed to average at all. We first walked in we were greeted. Because we are vegan we naturally asked questions; the staff knew nothing about their menu whether if it was vegan or not because it appears the menu changed,and they seem annoyed to answer our questions, so we made it easy on everyone and just LEFT. they shrugged their shoulders as we shrugged ours as well!!! and according to them "NOTHING" was vegan, except obviously the vegetable soup and salad,Thanks! We have been to this restaurant numerous times, this was the first time we experienced this type of customer service...not to sure if I will be going to Panera Bread anymore,this location at least. We placed our order at 6:38 p.m. At 7:12 p.m. I had to demand a refund for our order as we had not yet received it! This is a sandwich shop - how can it take 35 minutes for a sandwich!? We had concert tickets and we thought we could grab a quick bite on the way. As a result of their slow service, not only did we miss the first song of the concert, but we went there hungry. The manager gave a half hearted apology, blaming it on a 'soccer game' that came in before us. I suggested that she then tell customers that there would be a 30-40 minute wait. I went to this Panera bread this morning @10:18. I order a breakfast sandwich to go and waited near the kitchen where you can see the staff cooking. I was so disappointed to see the girl ( bright Burgundy hair) not wearing gloves while making my order. Than one of the other employees went in the kitchen to get her sweatshirt and was touching her hair and flinging her hair all over. She went out of the kitchen and didn't wash her hands after touching her hair. With all the stuff happening in this world today the one thing I would expect from a business is to make sure there guests are safe. We are still seeing breakouts in Covid, RSV and the flu.
