I am a fan of Panera but this location is always very disappointing. I started the coffee subscription but canceled because it was always so watered down compared to when I paid regular $$ for it. The rapid order is always 15-20 minutes later than the given time. Which wouldn't be a problem if told but why say something will be ready in 10 minutes and make customers wait an additional 20? On top of the wait, my order is wrong 50% of the time. I'm not customizing anything, just get wrong items. I once got a vanilla latte with nothing except milk. Sometimes it's missing an item. When brought up, I've been answered that they were 'out' of the product ordered. So you just choose to not give me anything or notify me? This location makes Panera look very bad and is very poor quality considering the cost is higher than most 'fast food' places. read more

Not very motivated. Tried to get a little Hazelnut coffee and got a cup full of grind. They kindly gave another cup the other coffees were empty. When I point that out to the manager they did nothing. We were the only people there at the time so i know they weren't busy. By the way when the cashier replaced my coffee cup He gave me the smaller cup, at this Point i no longer wanted coffee I simply just wanted to go to a different place so I could get what I wanted to start with. Was a bit apprehensive to try this Panera with the negative ratings, but glad I did. Location wasn't super clean (could have been better, could have been worse) but the layout of this location is more appealing than some of the others. This is a lunch staple for me and the order online with fast pick is a great. My go to order is the the pick to of some kind. The best sandwich is the Bacon Turkey Bravo, and I normal add avocado to it because why not, and yes I know it is extra. The other best thing is their mac and cheese. If you have seen other reviews of mine, you know cheese is always a desired ingredient in my food choices. I have had mixed experiences with the service and quality of sandwiches,nothing really bad but nothing that blew me out of the water. Pickup order was on time, hot, and delicious. Parking lot is easy to drive throughout (which compared to the area says a lot). The cafe was newer but not the newish (which farmhouse) version. Super clean and great employees. Said hello when i came through the door and asked if i needed anything else when i picked up my meal. Highly recommend the new 10 veggie soup. This location needs to step it up. I go here about once a week just because it's really the only healthy option near my work. I went one time and ordered the Mediterranean veggie sandwich (which I always get) and they waited until I was at the window to tell me they were out of the tomato bread (which makes the sandwich). I would've ordered something else. Another time I went and they didn't give me dressing for my salad, gave me a baguette instead of chips, and did not fill my tea up all the way in the cup and it had like no ice in it. Just ordered an $11 salad that wasn't fit to eat. Obviously made on some other day. Greens were frozen, avocado was crunchy (not ripe) and turning gray, and peel was left on the avocado. Great place to eat! However one csr in the front named Jessica is very rude! Never seems to be happy or like her job.It is a shame because co workers and I myself really enjoy this restaurant but when we walk in and see her working we wish we would've chosen another place to eat.I would suggest switching her job to cleaning tables or somewhere in the back! I love Panera Bread, but would not recommend this specific location to anyone. The customer service is lacking: I sat in the drive thru for over 20 minutes with only one vehicle in front of/behind me only to be given a sweet tea with two ice cubes, a salad that was undeniably wilted (with a side of Caesar dressing that honestly looked half used/empty and spilled out of the sides), and a chocolate chip cookie that was so stale I had to spit it out. I ate at this same location a few weeks prior and the quality of my sandwich on that day was lacking. It was poorly put together and did not have the same taste as it usually would. I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt today and returned, only to regret it. I do not expect a five star meal from a drive thru but I do expect fresh ingredients and respect from a restaurant that costs more than the average competitor. I am a big fan of Panera Bread. I like all of there options and variety. However this location is terrible. I went through the dive thru a few days ago and ordered one large coffee and small coffee and bagel and a chocolate chip muffin top. I got to the window and she handed me a bag and said thank you. I was a little confused because I did not get my coffee. I looked in the bag and there was a bagel, a chocolate chip muffin top, a large broccoli soup and a small broccoli soup. I waited for her to come back and explained that I ordered coffee not soup. She said to wait a minute and she came back with coffee. The drive thru was beginning to back up so I told her I would come in. So I am now inconvenienced because my fast drive thru trip was now taking loner than ever. Inside I was 2nd in line. I waited for several minutes and a manager came out. I explained to him what happened and he wasn't getting it. I told him again and again that I didn't order soup. I explained that I needed to be charged for coffee and to take the soup back, he seemed annoyed and finally finalized the transaction. Between the drive thru and having to come in I was there a good 20 minutes. After getting into my car I saw the manager come out and started smoking right near the front door. It looked very unprofessional for the manager to be smoking in that spot, but also that he was on a break when the lobby and drive thru were clearly backed up. This review is for a Panera not on the map yet. Went to Panera in Shepherdsville,KY. Ordered a sausage egg and cheese on everything bagel. Came out luke warm and sausage pattie was cold. Sent it back. They brought me a new order which was steaming hot and the bagel was burnt on the bottom. I was tired of trying to get the order corrected so I ate it. They claimed it was a door dash delivery but I didn't order anything through door dash. She stated the restaurant doesn't do their own deliveries but that's not what it says on the app or who I ordered through. Seems to me that everything is shrinking at Panera Bread. Friends and I had bagels and coffee there this morning. We all agreed that the bagels are about 33% smaller than last week. The Panera location on Outer Loop in Louisville, Ky. was already out of bagels by noon today and I was informed would NOT be making any more even though it's open until 10pm tonight. I've complained in the past via online about product availability at this location and it's clearly falling on deaf ears. In addition to this, at a few times when the Asiago bagels WERE available there was little to no cheese on them! The bagels were closer to plain than Asiago! Literally only a small portion of a portion of the bagel had Asiago! So the quality is a factor as well. Overall NOT excited about this location. It started out strong and has quickly gone down hill! Food was standard for Panera and it was fast. I ordered a hot tea and it smelled and tasted like burnt coffee. They should have one urn dedicated just for water so the tea doesn't taste like coffee. I like both coffee and tea but I want my tea to taste like tea. My mom has gone before and had the same thing happen; she spoke with a manager and his only response was that they wash them every night. For any tea lovers that don't like coffee (like my mom), the taste and smell of coffee will penetrate containers and glasses and won't come out even if washed. read more

I love Panera, I really do. This location has some serious issues though. We mostly use the online order and rapid pick up service. They are constantly out of items and early in the evening than they should be. And the food is not very consistent. One time they'll make it the way it's supposed to be made and the next time it's different. Items have been forgotten sometimes too and the screens spells out what's supposed to be there. Maybe they should double check before they send it. When they first opened they offered delivery and now they don't and that's a big downfall. They really have a lot that needs work and they've been open for a while so you would think they would be better at this. Really disappointing. read more

Worst Panera experience I ever had...what the heck is with this stupid "rapid pick up"?? I wasn't given a buzzer, had to keep standing up to see if my name was on the ready board. After it never appeared on the "preparing " board for a long time, I walked up there and there was a cup sitting on the counter while 4 (yes 4) employees were standing and chatting. Yup, it was mine and already getting cold. When I placed my order, the guy didn't know they had flavor shots and told me they only had caramel macchiattos and mochas after I asked if they had french vanilla flavoring. Had to go back up and ask and wait for a spoon while the girl went and got me a SOUP spoon for my coffee. They have just a very few booths. Most seating are uncomfortable insubstantial chairs. No nice arm chairs like at others. This was a 35 degree morning and the fireplace was not on. Heat your own pastry in the microwave so low under the counter, it might as well be on the floor. What can you expect...this is par for the course for what we get in Okolona. (Oh and that is the manager cleaning tables himself while all his employees do nothing) read more
