Panera is one of those places that is 50/50 in both service and food quality. Offering pastries, sandwiches, salad and soups, it is a go to when you want a light meal for lunch. Prices have sadly gone up quite a bit. Dining area tends to be not the cleanest of areas. Overall, 7/10z

Used this location twice to deliver food, and it was good both times. Sometimes getting food delivered to a sick relative from half a country away can't be beat. The first time we ordered via Grubhub so was able to take advantage of some promotions and offers, but this time, the same family feast wasn't available on that platform, so went to the Panera website, where it is still available. It comes with a salad (caesar was the choice), a quart of soup (chicken noodle), a french baguette, and four sandwiches from a limited selection. I ordered Bacon Turkey Bravo, Roasted Turkey Avocado BLT, Chipotle Chicken Avocado, and toasted steak and white cheddar. After mandatory tip, convenience fee, and tax, it came out to $56.43 so about $15 per person which isn't too bad. It was delivered at the time it was promised, and one can follow the progress on the Panera app. The relatives enjoyed the full size sandwiches, and it's good to know this Panera is close by for future needs.

    The menu items

I recently visited Panera Bread and completed a "Pick Two" order. I choose the Chicken Caesar Salad and the Chicken Cordon Bleu Blue Melt. When I got home, and looked at my sandwich it only contained ham. I am more than certain that the sandwich is supposed to have more than ham (according to the ingredients). I'm am not sure if the ingredients were unavailable or if it was a mistake but making an item with half of the ingredients is crazy to me.

Chicken and Rice soup, Green Goddess Cobb Salad with Chicken, Chocolate Chip Cookie, and Broccoli Cheese soup to go.
    ALLI M.

This was my second visit to Panera today as my first choice in Allen was closed early without notice. Ordered the pick two, broccoli cheddar soup and the green goddess cobb salad with chicken with dressing on the side. Had a $5 coupon that expired today so I needed to use it up LOL. Most times when I order through the app, I get $1 off a sweet treat so I got the chocolate chip cookie as well. Got my food, everything looked great and I started eating the soup and realized it was chicken and rice, not broccoli cheddar. Went up to the counter and the very nice young man apologized and got the correct soup right away. Didn't even ask for the wrong soup back, packaged it to go for me, and included a fresh baguette as well. So nice to get that great customer service. Way to go Panera!

I love Panera but I would not recommend this location. Their service is ridiculously slow, even when the restaurant wasn't very busy.

All three of the people that came by to refill coffee and water and to check on us (multiple times) were very nice. We were fortunate to arrive at the perfect time for a Saturday morning, as we would find out in just a few minutes, as we watched the wait list grow. This being our first time, we weren't sure of the seating situation. I walked to the back, where the to-go pick up was located, to find that we can sit anywhere and that someone would come and help us. We did, and they did. I suggest you stop in and give Curuba a try. Very reasonable prices, lots of menu choices, wonderful staff, oh, did I mention the coffee? I love dark roast coffee, "Just black, please". This Columbian coffee is dark, rich, smooth and flavorful with an aroma that hits the senses with every taste. If you're a dark roasted coffee fan, stop in for a cup to go. You'll be back. And even better, the coffee comes from Columbia. They purchase it from a local importer (I believe). They provided the url via QR code. We believe in the "Buy local" philosophy. It's nice to see businesses doing business with local businesses. THE BAD: It's a small restaurant. Making a reservation (Open Table) is likely a good idea. We happened to find it at a slow moment on a Saturday morning. OVERALL: We're fans. I'd love to take our friends and family for lunch, or tell them about our new find. However, there are some things better kept to oneself.

TLDR; amazing pastries and breads, even better customer service! Patronize them and buy everything!…read more I cannot remember the last time a business went above and beyond for me. I've worked in retail my entire life from groceries to luxury goods, and to say that I'm impressed is saying a lot. Most small businesses strive to do more for their customers out here, and we all appreciate it! But leave it to me to show up for the first time and not be parked close enough to keep my dog in the car with the air on. We couldn't find parking close enough. But he's also an extremely skittish rescue and it shows. I saw two women on the side of the building, clearly working. They looked like they were discussing business so I asked them if there was any way I could place an order online for pickup. They don't do same day order pickups. That's fine - they're clearly always busy. One of the women suggested that I could tie my dog to one of the posts they had along the sidewalk. But the other woman saw my hesitation and told me that she's a dog person and didn't mind holding his leash while I ran inside. This angel of a human clearly saw how relieved I was when she offered that option so we did just that. The very long and stocked glass display inside has multiple postings of what the offerings of the day are. The girls behind the register were extremely patient and sweet. It's busy on a weekday even so make sure to mosey over to the side if you're still deciding, like me. After I ordered a few items, I was talking to the girl who rung me up and it turns out the owner was out there being accommodating to me, the frazzled customer lol Country sour boule - 10/10 perfection Salted chocolate chunk cookie - 9/10 cooked a bit more than I prefer but generous on the chocolate chunks and the bits of salt and cardamom (?) take it to an artisanal level for sure. Subtle enough and not overpowering Roasted tomato danish with basil pesto and mozzarella - 10/10 thinking about this right before lunch is making me hungry. The laminated layers of pastry paired with pesto, tomatoes, and mozzarella bits are a mini gourmet savory treat! Roasted pineapple and passionfruit danish - 10/10 if you don't like tart, I would advise staying away from this one since it packs a very good punch. The passionfruit custard is generously applied throughout and while I'm not a passionfruit fan, I would get this again. Not after I try everything else on the menu first though! Things that I'll pre order and be back to try include, but aren't limited to: pain au chocolat, cinnamon rolls, jambon buerre, snickerdoodle cookie, ok never mind I literally want to try everything. Plus the pizza slices that looked amazing! I'll be back. Try and keep me away!

The small three cheese pizza was also perfect -- great crust, great sauce-to-cheese ratio, and honestly the perfect size to split with someone alongside a salad. But the TNT panini?? Holy crap. The second you unwrap it, the smell of the garlicky focaccia hits you immediately. And the pink sauce was some of the best I've had. The tiramisu was also the perfect sweet ending to the meal. It wasn't overly sweet and soggy like most in this area. Cannot wait to try the cannolis! After years of searching for real Italian food, I finally feel like I found it.
