My daughter and I always stop and eat here when leaving Dallas from shopping. She had broccoli cheese soup as always. I tried the Turkey Southwest Sandwich which was delicious. So much food we both had leftovers. It's always super busy during lunch time but they keep the lines and food moving. Services is always top notch. Ok... Wow... I've never been to a place like this. 1. Salads are huge and so filling 10/10 2. Onion soup 9/10 according to my POP 3. Amy's sandwich according to my kid is bombdiggity.10/10 4. Alfredo was delicious and huge. Leftovers for the next day. 10/10 5. Cesar salad has to be my fave. Although I wish there was more chicken, and the lettuce was cut up a little more, i still give it a 9/10. 6. My MIL got the nutty salad. She loves fruit and this had all her faves. 10/10 for her. 7. This Jason's Deli is one of our regular spots. It's clean, the sandwiches are well-made, and the muffuletta is always satisfying. The seafood gumbo has a good kick with okra, shrimp, and sausage. If they upped the shrimp quality, it would really impress. Service is always nice and usually quick. A great go-to! read more

Worst BLT I've ever had in my entire life. If you're going to even sell a BLT, at least thoroughly cook the bacon. No one likes half-cooked bacon. At lot of good restaurants cook their bacon 1/2 way or 2/3 way through, then finish it off real quick before they serve it. Apparently, not this place. They do cook their bacon 1/2 way through, but then just throw it on the next order with bacon. Also, if you're going to make a large BLT with an egg and avocado, at least cut it in HALF. Yes, I understand how hard it is to cut 1/2 cooked bacon, so again, actually cook the bacon, then actually cut the sandwich in half. I'd come back for that, but not for what I got. read more

We each got something different to eat and were all happy. I asked and was told the "all you can eat" salad bar ended about 4 years ago but with the numerous choices and large plate I barely finished. It would be helpful if the items on the salad bar were labeled. Ice cream is free and I asked for a tiny bowl - which was plenty. It's very busy and a bit loud. We are regulars at the Deli at 380/75 in McKinney. Food is great and the staff is friendly. Manager "Gypsie" is the best and always makes our visits enjoyable. Her staff is top notch. We love Jason's Deli.. My issue is with a gift card I got for Christmas. I checked the balance, it was $50, I was excited! However, it only had $25.... I was shocked! And I was out $15.25 I thought was covered. Makes me wonder if someone pocketed $25. Sad! read more

So, a lot of my coworkers recommended this place so I may have stopped by on a bad day. The guy behind the counter wasn't the friendliest, he honestly seemed a little annoyed that I was there. I always have great service from this location but today just took the WHOLE CAKE ! Okay so I spend 10 mins slowly scrolling on Uber Eats to add the ginger muffins to my order, I couldn't find them anywhere ! I was extremely excited to see we were getting a Jason's deli right here in my neighborhood in McKinney! After ordering take out here, I am so disappointed. I ordered the nutty mixed up salad as this has always been my favorite dish here. The portion was a tiny little kid size portion, the lettuce was wilted, heavy lettuce, 3 halved walnuts, 4 grapes and several strawberries and a pinch of pumpkin seeds. I far cry from the salad I have become accustomed to at the Frisco location. My daughter got the kids cheese pizza and it was like chewing leather and taste was just as bad. Never order from here via Uber eats. Third time I have ordered the muff special, and third time no chips. Not the drivers fault, came in a sealed bag. What is the use of ordering your food your way just to be corrected or altered by someone who is not eating the food? They assemble a great big chef. I was, however, annoyed by my latest visit. Despite my requests and it being clearly captured on the receipt, they made my sandwich incorrectly. Additionally, the Irish Potato soup does not come as shown. You have to request cheese and bacon. They did end up comping my meal, so I am grateful for that. read more

We've been going to Jason's Deli a lot lately for the salad bar. We went to this location the other night and after we were almost done with our food we saw roaches crawling around. One was on the counter where the sandwiches and soup are located. I got up to make sure what I saw crawling was indeed a roach. Then I started noticing them crawling on the floor by the salad bar and between tables. The manager said they'd just had an exterminator out the day before. We were like hmm hmm okay. I can only imagine what the prep kitchen looks like in the back. We're good. Won't be back to this location. read more

We ordered takeout using their app Saturday, May 22, 2021 around 8:30pm at the McKinney, TX location.. First of all, when my husband went inside to pickup the order Markus who was behind the counter asked for his full name and social security number! When my husband said he wasn't going to give that out, Markus was persistent about it. After the third time my husband said no and told the manager, Markus said he was just joking and thought it would be funny. The manager was rude at first, then realized my husband really was mad that he tried to get his social she was a little nicer. After we left, we realized a drink was missing from the order. Their app does not have anywhere to report a problem with the order. Nor does it allow you to view recent receipts. read more

I know this palace is a chain and doesn't need my review but, I love it here. I eat here once a week. The. Service is always efficient and friendly. I love the Salad bar and it always seems clean, fresh, and plentiful. There is a huge selection of fresh veg and other fun toppings. My husband gets soup, sandwich, sweet potato he always changes it up. And always leaves feeling satisfied. Prices are fair. Of course there are busier times of day to visit that may make fine a seat challenging but I think that's common sense. I'm looking forward to my next slake sandwich combo and writing this makes me want that to be today! Jason's Deli is one of our favorites for a casual place to eat. This location in Mckinney is ideally located at the intersection of US-75 and US-380. There is plenty of parking as well. The staff is very friendly. The menu at Jason's Deli consists of soups, sandwiches, salads and desserts. Their salad bar is ideal for anyone looking for a lighter fare and be guilt free. The menu also contains a separate section for vegetarians which includes atleast 3 types of soups.Do not miss the ice cream that is served complimentary for everyone. The option of half soup/half sandwich is highly recommended especially if you are stopping in during lunch time. Jason's Deli is a great option for office luncheon catering. Today my partner and I came around 3:45 where we were first greeted by I assume the manager who was very friendly, no problems there. After ordering we realized we didn't receive a table number close to when a server wearing a red and black beanie was coming out. I had gotten up to ask if he was looking for the number to which he replied very rudely that we "should have picked it up" despite not getting one in the first place. His tone came off like we were idiots even though we were aware of the problem and addressed it. Hello Paul here again for a review of a great restaurant here in McKinney, TX, (west McKinney on 380 / University Dr on the North side of 380 just East of Custer Road). I had the chance to experience what TRUE customer service IS ALL about! My family and I had been eager to come check out our new Jason's Deli which had recently opened here close to our home. From the moment we walked in, it was as if we were being treated like family. I can tell you this, whoever is responsible for hiring manager, Jay, should be given a commendation for including Jay as part of the management team. Our team member, Angie, was so kind, attentive and repeated our order to confirm she had included everything we needed. We had a small challenge with having a gift card being accepted. Enter, manager, Jay. Well, I gotta say that he quickly solved the minor issue and expressed his gratitude for us choosing Jason's for dinner this evening. Our food was properly prepared and was the correct temperature. As you would expect the restaurant being brand new was clean. But it was very tidy and organized and the bathrooms were spotless. Jay came by about halfway through our meal to confirm everything was good and we were enjoying our meal (which we clearly were, as I wouldn't be writing such a review if we weren't). Jay shared a few things and the one which is most relevant to this review is what he had to say about Jason's Deli. What makes this important is that Jay shared he has been in all areas of the food service industry for over 25 years or the majority of his career. He shared that when he interviewed with Jason's that the vast majority of the management team had been with the organization for 15, 20 and 25 years with the same company. Jay said that when you have that kind of tenure from not just one employee, but many management staff that that is a clear indicator of a company which cares for and respects its staff. He wanted to be a part of a company that invested that much into ensuring that their employees were valued and taken care of. They say in many industries that leadership comes from the top. Well if that is the case, then the GM partner, Cynthia, should count her blessings that she has Jay as part of her management team. This tells me and should tell you that if the team members are happy, you as the diner / customer are going to have an excellent experience and the food will be better as a result! Thank you to all of the staff which had a hand in making our dining experience a great one, but even more so for employing a manager who genuinely knows the meaning of customer service! Employees are pleasant, but this location has the absolute dirtiest bathroom in all of North Texas. 100% of this review is accurate, and nothing is objective or up for debate. Ordered food for my aunt and my son. Jason's Deli is a great value for the money spent. The men's bathroom had urine all over the floor and the toilet seat in the handicapped stall. do not go to this location. they get slammed and the manager (older lady with grey hair and glasses) is rude and unprofessional to customers and her employees. i ordered pita chips online and "they dont have them" so she says but online it says they are "new". i bring it to her attention that they arent in my to go bag and asked if i can get a replacement since they "dont have them" and she says rudly "well what do you want then"? i would NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION! she almost made me get my refund and walk out the door. smh. read more

The employee nicely asked me who was first and I pointed to someone at the dine in register who came before me. The female manager without even turning her back to look at us waved her hand at the to go register and very rudely snapped at us "you all need to make one line there!" There were no signs stating that and even the employee working the register didn't know this. GM Chris you should be appalled at one of your managers talking to customers like this. Like we were inconveniencing her by trying to give Jason's money. Well, you aren't the only game in town by a long shot so I will go give money to a business that actually wants it. read more

If I could do less than one star I would. My family ordered sandwiches to go and when we got home there was a live cockroach inside of my sisters sandwich. Disgusted my dad and her went back to show and return what we had purchased. The manager, Gypsy was rude and unapologetic, using the excuse that the line cooks had been there for 20 years in an attempt to disprove our experience. Not only is this unacceptable and extremely disgusting but to not even believe the customer or apologize for this experience is ridiculous. All items were brought back for a reimbursement and still not one time was an apology made and the excuse "I don't know what else you expect me to do" was made. This location needs a visit from the health inspector and better management to ensure this issue does not continue. I went in and placed a to-go order at the counter. When I ordered, I specifically ordered three FULL ORDERS of the club royales and one FULL ORDER of the caprese panini. The only thing I asked was that instead of chips, I requested three tomato basil soups and one broccoli cheese soup. The cashier read my order back correctly, but the way he worded it left out some details that make a big difference, which I would have corrected, had I known that's what he entered into the system. The total was over $50, which sounds reasonable for four sandwiches with soups instead of chips and two drinks, and since he read it back correctly, I paid and sat down. I waited 30 minutes for my food, and people who placed their orders after me were getting their food, but I just waited patiently. Someone asked what the name on my order was, I told him, then a few minutes later I got my order. I went outside to the patio table and my gut told me to check that everything was there. I saw four sandwich boxes, but only three soups, so I went back in and kindly let him know that I was missing one of my soups. He went and got it for me then I made my way home - a 30ish minute drive. I got home, excited because it smelled so good, pull out the first box, then my heart sank with frustration. I turned the bag around where the ticket was and he entered all manager's specials. For those that don't know, the manager's special gives you the option to get a HALF sandwich and a cup of soup (or salad or something else). Needless to say, I was upset that he didn't read that part back to me and kept confirming with me that I wanted the full sandwich with soup instead of chips - four times while placing my order! So now I'm home with half sandwiches and ready to call them. I call, the manager picks up, and she was immediately confrontational and rude. I explained the issue still remaining calm and polite, and she said, "Well if that's what you paid for then that's what you get. Let me pull up your order." She placed me on hold abruptly, came back and asked for my name, placed me on hold again, then said it wasn't there, so I gave her my ticket number. She said, "Well you ordered the manager's specials so that's what you get. HALF sandwiches." I said, "But that's not what I asked for and that's not what he confirmed with me." Then she said, "You were the one checking the order outside right?" I confirmed, then she said, "And you didn't think to look inside the boxes?" I told her no because I already saw four boxes, came back in for my missing soup, and the cashier said everything back to me correctly. She repeated, "Well you paid for the manager's specials so that's what you got. I'm not going to give you free sandwiches just because you didn't want half sandwiches." Not once did I ask for anything free. Also, she told me if I wanted to drive back up there then I can and she will charge me another $15 to give me the other halves. I understand if I had ASKED FOR the manager's special and wasn't happy with half a sandwich, but given that it was stated CLEARLY between me and the cashier multiple times, and the rude demeanor of the manager, I will not be going back to this location. Not my first choice for "go to" places but the choices are quite good here. I usually get the salad bar or the various soups they offer. They have a great gumbo and potato soup . The clam chowder is ok but not my favorite. The French dip and brisket sandwich would be my choice for sandwiches. Gingerbread or ice cream for dessert from the salad bar.
