Just came in to Panera for a really late lunch with my girls and ordered a turkey sandwich for my daughter. I asked for mustard and they said they no longer serve mustard because it goes against their "new healthy eating policy". WHAT?! BUT they offered us Gulden's spicy mustard. Ummmm? I'm so confused. I went to lunch with my beautiful celiac wife at Panera Bread which by itself seems scary for someone with Celiac. This Panera restaurant is one of the best I've visited around Atlanta. The morning cashier is wonderfully friendly. Many mornings she is working on a large bagel order but pauses to take care of customers who pop in, like me, with a big smile. Service is prompt and the environment and temperature is perfect. Surprised at how amazingly efficient this restaurant is during a slammed rush hour. Note well: this place is absolutely packed during the lunch hour, but is super efficient at cranking out orders and the tables turn over about as fast as the food. Have enjoyed everything from the salads to sandwiches and soups here. Nothing special aside from other Paneras, but in the fast paced craze that is Windward during lunch you can count on getting in, eating, and getting back in time. Now if only they had a larger space... could easily be a remote work and meeting spot. read more

Went by for lunch today. Got there about 1:10 PM - so prime lunch time. They were crowded, but efficient and I got through the line and had my food in about five minutes total - not bad at all. Most of the seats were filled, but I found a spot pretty quickly - it's a fairly large dining room. The food is exactly what you'd expect if you've been to any other Panera Bread. I got the basic turkey sandwich and it was great. I tried the French Onion soup (never had it at Panera before) and it wasn't the best...not really even close...ok, I flat out didn't like it and only half of it. There was nothing 'wrong' with it, just the flavor wasn't what I expected...was spiced but a bit too much for my French Onion taste. But, I'll give them a pass on that...just because I didn't like one item doesn't make it a bad experience. I've had 3 or 4 other types of their soup and like those. The service was friendly enough (nothing to really brag about, but nothing negative about it, either). So, yes, I'd go back to this location. read more

I have given Panera way too many chances and for some reason I keep going back to see if it will get better but this last experience I had enough. I ordered thru the drive thru and it took about 5-10 minutes for someone to even address me. When I got home I found my sandwich crumpled up in a ball not even properly wrapped. I opened it and found that my bacon turkey bravo didn't even have the right meat on it. What was on it was what looked like chewed up half cooked half uncooked chicken just slapped on the sandwich. I didn't even modify it and I was given that. Additionally the rest of my order was messed up and instead of giving me a side of bread for the soup I ordered I was given an additional 3 bags of chips. Personally this has totally turned me off and I just threw out my food, I wasn't going to take any chances eating it. I will not be returning to Panera in the future. read more

I don't know how the quality could decline so much in just a matter of a few weeks. First of all both of my orders were wrong. We specified twice that we wanted over easy eggs on our bagels and we still got scrambled. Secondly, the Spanish speaking ladies preparing the food were obviously more interested in goofing off and giggling than preparing quality food. Our bagels were burnt and the cheese turned into plastic from overheating. The cinnamon roll we got was much drier than usual. I don't think we will be coming back to this location. read more

OLD ROTTEN SLIMY lettuce in the Green Goddess salad. I spoke to the manager and he just said "sorry". I don't think the person making the salad would even dream of eating that disgusting lettuce let alone feeding it to a customer. The manager told me he inspected the lettuce that day. Got a sandwich with no sauce week 1, week 2 I got a steak sandwich with no sauce, week 3 my rapid order was nowhere to be found (I believed them at the time that it was stolen but now I just believe that they hadn't made it) Last week my rapid order for tomato soup and a sandwich turned up as a black bean soup and sandwich. Placed a Rapid Pickup order for this Windward location and waited in the restaurant an additional 10 minutes past the posted "ready by" time posted on my online order. I am giving this rating based on two experiences recently. In both instances we went through the drive thru for a dessert and drink. Each time the woman replied that both bakery items we requested were not available. Each time this happened my wife then went in to see what was available. And both times the items we requested were in the bakery section. The woman working the drive thru just didn't take the time to look. The most recent was on May 31 at 6:55 pm. So if a manager sees this you can figure out who won't take the time to help a customer. read more

Dear management of this Panera Bread establishment , as much as I appreciate y'all staying open during this alleged pandemic , if there's only two people working in the entire restaurant you should probably just close . I had to wait nearly an hour to get my food (ordered on the app) & since I was driving a big ambulance there was no way I could go through the drive thru and the Panera doors were locked so I couldn't get inside to ask about my order. Y'all also didn't answer any of my phone calls . I had to literally walk up to the drive thru window to even be acknowledged meanwhile the drive thru was rolling smoothly . I understand that my order didn't show up for your end, but when I said I had been waiting for 40 mins for my food and people in the drive thru haven't even been waiting for 5 mins , I expect to be a priority as I was there first . So for the sake of not stressing yourselves out and stressing customers out , if you are not properly staffed , just close down . People will understand with the COVID-19 thing and all. Panera Bread on Windward may want to re map their drive thru. I was almost side swiped by some crazy people all for a salad. Windward is extremely busy during lunch time, so yes this Panera is always filled. I do enjoy that Panera offers a sandwich and salad combo for those of us that are quite greedy. The price is sorta expensive, the food was good except the steak and cheese Panini had soo much pepper on it. I really preferred the salad over the Panini. If you must go, be watchful of goons in the parking lot and check to see if your sandwich actually has more than 3 pieces of steak. They are too expensive to be hoarding my meat! read more
