Receipt of what I paid for...
    Rebecca M.

I just went through the drive thru about 5-10 minutes ago and ordered a Strawberry Poppyseed and Chicken Salad as well as a Cheddar and Broccoli Soup, that is not what I received. The salad had NO chicken but I was charged for it, and the soup was NOT cheddar Broccoli. The soup given to me not only smelled spicy but also had potatoes, peppers, and corn. The overall service was nice, however I DID NOT get what I paid for.

Well, not sure where to begin. The cashier that takes the orders was not very helpful, nor did she make us feel welcomed. I ordered my usual, 1/2 Napa almond chicken sandwich and 1/2 chicken Fuji apple salad with a small coffee and a cookie. She forgot my dessert. Cost $16.61. The place was a mess. Tables and the floor were dirty. There was only one other couple in the place and yet no one was cleaning the restaurant. If I had been the owner and walked in to see my place like that, heads would have rolled. As for the food, the cooks did a great job but must have not read the receipt because I got a huge salad, (thank you) that was very good. My sandwich was delicious. My friend got the soup and salad and her salad was much smaller than mine which she mentioned to me and was bummed because it really was really good which meant she got less. LOL. Anyway, the food and the cooks get 5 stars, but the other staff and the place not being clean gets 2 stars, which would give them three stars, but it should have been better.

I went to Panera today & it was miserable out because of the rain so I decided to get their Pick Two which was Bistro French Onion soup & a 1/2 chicken, chipotle, avocado sandwich. My meal was awesome!

Dressing for the Cesar Salad w/chicken. This does not even cover the 1/2 size salad I ordered. :(

The dressing does not even cover the 1/2 size Cesar salad w/Chicken that I ordered. It's not even 1/2 of the small container, it's just enough to cover the bottom. This has happened multiple times. :(

    This is what I ordered.

In the picture is what I ordered...I showed this screenshot to the cashier. What I got was a cup of soup, not a bowl...and the chicken was on the Ceasar salad and not the Mediterranean salad. The bag was sealed so I didn't check it until I got home. I was charged the correct price so that's a plus. Another plus is the store is very clean and the staff are friendly...just the order was messed up.

Half and half with broccoli and cheddar soup and a Cuban sandwich

Good place for lunch . This time I had the half and half with broccoli and cheddar soup and a Cuban . The soup could have been heated up a bit more and the sandwich had a ton of pickles on it . But all in all it was a tasty lunch

Just bought my daughter a cinnamon bagel toasted and sliced. Opened it up when we got home to it being completely burned.

The menu wasn't the same old thing! We all agreed that the top choice were the crab cakes and the delicious sides accompanying that dish. The chicken pesto dish came in second.Grouper was very good, but not outstanding. The grits in my scallops recipe needed to be enriched with cream and/or butter. At their price point I feel the dish needs to be the best I have tasted! Do not get me wrong,I will be returning for special occasions. So far, Parrott's on 11th is my favorite restaurant in the Beaufort and Morehead City area. Can't imagine how good it will be once they up there game a tiny bit more! Atmosphere very Southern and chic. Make reservations soon!

The menu is creative both for food and drinks, and you're definitely going to need a reservation to get seated. While you're there expect top notch service, and food that is really good, but at least in my experience, falling a bit short of the excellence the prices are aiming for. We were all kind of hungry and thirsty when we came in, having spent the day on Shackleford island, and being shut down at every turn by the restaurant we stopped into first hoping to have some appetizers (they were out of everything we asked about). This boded well for Parrott's, we got several apps and cocktails in addition to our mains. Unfortunately, it was really those apps that I felt fell short. Our waiter talked up the lamb meatballs to the point where we were really expecting to be blown away, and ultimately, they were pretty ordinary, and just two of them, making it hard to split amongst 6 people. Same could be said for the pork belly bbq skewers, they were small and didn't thrill any of us. The main courses made up for those shortcomings, a couple of us got the grouper, there was a scallops and grits order, a delicious pesto chicken pasta, and some crab cakes that I ended up being pretty jealous of because they stole the show. These mains were a good size helping, and each robust in their own ways, showcasing creativity and excellence in the kitchen. In the end, for the amount of the bill, you expect everything to be top notch up and down, and it fell short of that to me... but not so drastically so that I wouldn't recommend the place to others, with the caveat to have appetizers somewhere else first.

The building was once Owen's Grocery store and is now a casual restaurant. They serve sandwiches and salads for lunch, but the dinner menu is closer to fine dining. I highly recommend making reservations if you are going for dinner, as it is a very popular place, even in the off-season. Reservations are not taken for the Sunday brunch, so I made sure to get there early to be first in line. On my recent visits, the restaurant was decorated for the holidays, so that was fun. It is small inside, but in warmer weather, there are outside tables. Alex took care of me at dinner. He was very welcoming, friendly, and could answer all my questions. He was very attentive and made sure my iced tea was always full. I went with the special for the night. I ordered the ribeye special without realizing it was 20 ounces. Thankfully, my appetite was good that night. It came with brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. I did get dessert too, and that was a chocolate peanut butter pie. That took me two days to finish. At brunch, my waitress was friendly and went over all the specials. I had a green apple mocktail, the #18 poached and stacked. I did the mini sweet potato biscuits as well so it was a lot of food. Alex, from dinner, saw me and asked me about my trip, so it was nice to see him again, and I thought it was nice that he remembered my plans. I will be dining here at least once on future trips to Beaufort, NC.

The bridal party along with a few others met here for lunch and they were able to seat us outside rather quickly by putting tables together which was so kind. All of us enjoyed our drinks. I had the spicy margarita and it was delish! I split the special sandwich of the day with my friend and had the broccoli salad on the side. Both were super fresh and everyone else enjoyed their meals as well! No complaints on the service or food. The outside patio was perfect for the spring weather we were enjoying!
