Don't bother going in. I went in, stood and waited at the till nobody showed up, I even called to the back "does anyone work here?" It's my last trip to a Panera Bread. Other places to eat.

Something like a three from me. Honestly, I never really feel Panera is a good value proposition. I spent $30 bucks for the two of us and left hungry. I got half a small sandwich and a cup of soup. You know, they were out of a lot of stuff too. Thought it was odd you could get a side of mac and cheese but you couldn't order it as a meal. And that whole rapid ordering system was really confusing. ...the kids working there we're dumbfounded too when I got a text the food was ready but wasn't. Do this, do that, wait here, no we'll call you. What did you order? Awkwarrrd!!! I could have done a whole lot better at Publix.

Still in waiting.... If you are reading this pull forward...oh, when you get your food the avocado is from last month!!! $50 for inedible food!

I have given this place so many chances, only because Panera has pretty good. However, they have the slowest drive thru service everrrrrr... it's a little overpriced for what you get, which I don't mind if you get my order correct. Today, 05/29/2023, was the last straw, I made a DoorDash order so I paid a premium for my order, see photo of receipt. Part of my order was 6 bagels, tub of cream cheese, and a tub chive onion smear. The receipt has boxes to check off to insure the items are bagged, of course they didn't use their own system to insure order accuracy and I didn't receive my cream cheese or chive onion smear... now I have a six pack of bagels that are basically worthless. I'm done with the Niceville Panera location. Of course I'm sure this will fall on deaf ears, as I can see they never respond to any reviews. Update: so I followed the instructions on the bottom of the receipt and called the speak with the manager, Jessica. She politely apologized, and said she would pass along because order accuracy is important. She never offered to make it right or correct the order, and then said if there's ever anything she can help me with in the future let her know. I politely told her that there will not be a next time. Not sure what your corporate policy is. Too bad it isn't correcting the issue and actually offering a solution.

Lousy service and stale, foul (spoiled) tasting food. Paid via app. Maybe it's better if they make it in front of customers.

We both loved our dishes and the banging shrimp appetizer and Caesar salads were a great addition. Wish we had room for the chocolate bread pudding, but didn't. Service was excellent as well. Would definitely recommend, currently our favorite restaurant in Niceville.

But as the saying goes: never judge a book by its cover. We were absolutely blown away by the experience. Despite the modest exterior, the food is nothing short of world-class. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked to absolute perfection--tender, flavorful, and easily one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Since we were a large group, we ended up ordering a significant portion of the menu. Between us, we tried the fish, shrimp, and various pasta plates. It felt like we sampled almost everything they offer, and every single dish was an absolute hit. It's rare to find a place where the entire table is equally impressed with their meal, but Basil & Baxter's pulled it off effortlessly. Beyond the incredible kitchen, the service was outstanding. The staff was attentive, welcoming, and handled our group with the kind of professionalism that makes a night out feel special. If you're in Niceville, do not pass this place up. It might look humble from the street, but the flavors and hospitality inside are massive. We will definitely be back!

Food was really good (order potato combo meal with brisket and a coke) a. The combo included 2 corn and cheese small muffins, a container of bbq sauce, and a large baked potato with butter, bacon, green onions, sour cream, and my choice of meat brisket b. The brisket was GOOD! The muffins were very light, buttery, moist; not dry at all or too corny. c. The bbq sauce was thankfully in a container off to the side, it was too watery for me and was not a fan of the taste, it was like ketchup with water. 3. Price a little high for my liking ($18) 4. Not a fan of styrofoam when there are better cheaper alternatives out there 5. There is a tip jar at the window and if you pay with a debit card they have you sign the receipt where it also asks for a tip. I'm not a fan of paying drive thru service workers a tip like you would a waiter/waitress. 6. Wish they sold chili. If they did sell chili I would like to see it come with the same toppings as the baked potato does. 7. I will definitely be a returning customer just not as often due to the price.

(I used to work in the restaurant industry so my standards for 5 stars are significantly higher and…read moreI don't give out 5 stars very often). The staff were super friendly and accommodating. Full bar. Plenty of domestic & imported beers on tap or bottled/canned along with mixed drinks and hard seltzers. They even have a couple alcohol-free options and energy drinks. I got 20 boneless wings (10 Lemon Pepper Dry Rub and 10 Honey BBQ). The Honey BBQ was sweet and savory with just the right amount of sauce on the wings. The Lemon Pepper was more on the lemon-y side but not overpowering and had a hint of that pepper kick as an aftertaste. The chicken is juicy with just the right amount of crunch from the breading. The wings are great just as they are but they're better with some ranch dipping sauce (I'm a ranch kinda guy lol). The sweet potato fries have that nice balance between a crunchy outside with a soft inside, sprinkled with salt. The breading on their jumbo onion rings actually sticks to the onion itself and doesn't fall off or disintegrate the minute you bite into it. The ranch sauce is savory, it complements the other textures and flavors well. The overall vibe I get from this place is uplifting but relaxed. They have multiple TVs that're usually playing sports. The floor plan is open and organized. Plenty of room to walk around without feeling like you have to squeeze yourself between chairs. Clean, neat, and orderly. The prices aren't that bad for what you get. It's a little more expensive than your typical restaurant but I also ordered 20 boneless wings, two premium sides, and had a tall Blue Moon but the price is well worth what you're getting. The food tastes AUTHENTIC, like everything they have is made in house. None of it tastes like it comes premade in a bag or a can and they just heat it up before serving. It's what you'd expect in a restaurant like this. If you're in the Destin/Niceville/Crestview area you NEED to come here and get their boneless wings.
