    "Fresh bread"

What a terrible place to eat ! The worst customer service I've had with Panera . The ordering lady was the only person that was nice. We came at 8 pm and I ordered a cup of Mac and cheese for my kids that was supposed to come with fresh bread and we got precut old bread with barely warm mac and cheese for $7 ! Panera is open until 9 pm but they said they already doing the dishes so everything will be in take out containers. They won't allow us to even use the bathroom because they were preparing for the store to close.

Ordered a half Chipotle Chicken avocado Melt with no sweet peppers and this is what was on the sandwich. There's barely anything on this I just bought two slices of bread for $9 that's insane.

This is one establishment that I can only get in the mainland. Hoping they would consider coming to the islands. From breakfast to lunch that various items that are available is my kind of eatery. For breakfast I love their hot sandwiches and pastries. And I'm a salad person each season they have a special combination so I would try something new. What I like about this place is you are also able to order take out and pick up the mobile location along with earning points for discounts.

Panera, the chain of consistently good food, with inconsistent levels of service and cleanliness. Sadly, I'm finding more and more of their locations lacking in these core competencies. This particular store included. Walked in at 11:30am hoping to get a bagel with bacon & cheese. The young lady behind the counter said they're no longer doing breakfast, in spite of the breakfast menu still posted. She added that they can't do eggs. I assured her that's fine, as I don't like eggs anyway. She was insistent that there was no way to do a bagel with bacon and cheese. I ordered my wife the turkey, bacon, avocado BLT. No problem! I then asked the obvious... the BLT has bacon, right? "Yes, it does." At that point a young man came from the kitchen and heard me ask once again to please put the same bacon that is used on the BLT onto a bagel with some cheese. He grabbed the bagel and got right on it, so I was able to finally enjoy one of their delicious everything bagels with bacon & white cheddar. After eating, I returned to buy a cookie for the road, which is usually offered for .99 with meal purchase. She rang it up and asked for my $2.29, so I of course inquired about the .99 deal (not that the extra $1.30 would have ruined my day). She said that I hadn't asked for it, so I reminded her that she hadn't offered it, at which time she canceled the order and told me to enjoy the cookie. Oh, I did!!! A few other observations; the iced tea urn was empty. The restroom and the door leading to the patio was dirty. Getting to the coffee station was difficult due to "wet floor" cones blocking the way. I very much enjoy Panera's food offerings, but it's getting increasingly difficult to overlook the lackluster management practices at too many of their stores.

I can't stress enough the importance of hospitality in the food service industry. Warm smiles and a customer greeting should be mandatory. It must be end of day vibes because the staff was about as dry as roast can get. Moving slow, checking phones, standing around moping. And I just came for a cup of coffee. The employee at the register couldn't figure out exactly what the customer in front of me wanted so I ended up using the app so that I wouldn't have to stand in line any longer. Trash bin was overflowing out front and shelves were void of pastries and such save die two or three pieces of bread. It was not a feel good restaurant, Panera style. If it wasn't for having to force myself to Panera since I have unlimited sips club card I would have skipped the place.

I like to stop in this shopping center whenever I'm about to board a plane on my way back home from visiting family in SC, which is pretty often. My daughter selected Panera Bread this time & I love Panera, so we stopped. It was Tuesday, January 4th - in between breakfast & lunch - a little after 10am. There was no line at the register and the lady behind the counter waited patiently as we discussed our options. She had greeted us politely behind her mask when we entered. My daughter opted for breakfast & chose the egg white, avocado & spinach on ciabatta bread ($6.19). I had my breakfast early, so I ordered lunch - a Greek salad ($8.49) and the pepperoni & sausage flatbread ($10.29). I didn't notice at the time that my salad was missing the tomatoes that were pictured. Nor did I notice my pizza was lacking the generous amount of cheese & pepperoni shown in the picture at the counter. The staff member behind the counter politely told us they would bring it out to us so we sat down nearby at a counter. A few minutes later, I heard a name called out from the back & someone got up to pick up their food. A few minutes later, I went to check on our food. It was sitting on the counter, in front of the cooks. I mentioned to the woman there that I was picking up our order. She didn't ask for a name or seem to care, especially when I mentioned that the woman in the front had told us it would be brought to us. Needless to say, the pizza wasn't hot. Shame, I only ate a couple of pieces and told my daughter to take the rest home. The salad was really good, nice and fresh. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich, no complaints. We rarely get the type of service in these parts that we do in Dallas, I try to overlook it for my daughter's sake, but geez, management should care more about the reviews - I really wanted to give it more **** Never forget there is a lot of competition out there.

Pepperoni mozzarella melt This is what you get for $11 at Panera

Flabbergasted by how little innards comes in this $11 sandwich. This is a loaf of bread with a couple pepperoni in it. I could have found more meat on a eunuch. The other sandwiches I've tried here are well proportioned, so they know how to get it done. Must just be the pepperoni mozzarella melt.

Went to buy a buffalo chicken melt... well I can see and taste the bread more than the chicken melt.

I was hungry and wanted to pick up a quick bite. Ended up with a big loaf of bread and no chicken. I could just have gotten to a French bakery if I wanted to eat a big loaf of bread.

forgot the eggs. mostly bread. waste of $$

Every time I'm anywhere close, I make it a point to stop, and this trip was no different. I was driving back home to North Carolina and had to make one last stop because it's just that good. The food is always fresh, hot, and packed with flavor. The sandwich was perfectly toasted with fresh ingredients, plenty of parmesan, and an amazing sauce, and the fries were cooked perfectly. Everything tasted just as good as I remembered. Service was a 10/10 and wonderful seating options MUST GO!!!

Even after the 2021 rebrand, it still held on for a while, but something in the last 5 years at the main office has completely lost touch. They expanded to three locations: ; downtown, Tybee, and Hilton Head, and in the process the whole identity fell apart. The menu has been gutted of its originality. The "OG" items are now overpriced, portion sizes have been cut in half, and the original sides that made it special are gone. What used to be a simple, order-and-sit-down experience is now chaotic. You're herded in by an overstaffed but somehow still disorganized team of high-turnover employees with zero consistency and very little emotional intelligence. There are always way too many staff for the number of customers, yet service somehow keeps getting worse. Last night was the final straw. We tried the Tybee location first, waited 30 minutes just to be seated, only to be told they were basically out of everything and could only do drinks. So we drove to downtown. Same exact thing. Out of sausage. When we asked if we could just remove it or substitute it, we didn't get a simple no, we got an "absolutely not," because apparently everything is pre-mixed and nothing can be adjusted. Even worse once we sat down. It took 15 minutes just to be asked for drink orders. A different server came over, introduced himself like we were starting fresh, and then got visibly annoyed when we said we'd already ordered water and a soda. From there it just kept getting more awkward. At one point he bumped my cup while I was literally lifting it to my lips and told me to "watch out" while he was placing food down. He took forever to check us out and finally bring our soda to go, and ended the night by saying, "just so you know I'm faster than the other girl," like we were in the middle of some weird staff competition we didn't sign up for. On the outside it still looks like a fun Savannah staple. But once you sit down, you realize you're no longer a local guest, you're trapped in an overhyped tourist operation that's completely lost what made it good in the first place.

Yea man, it is good-oud! We decided to dined in, being tortured by the Leopoldo's ice cream case the entire time as our food was prepared fresh because we gave up ice cream for lent. We covered the ambiance, FatzGirlz's is located in a gas station with a very clean restaurant, concrete floors, and three, two top tables. So dining in has limited seating but is very pleasant. But fret not, they offer carry out meals which are very popular as there was a continuous stream of customers the entire hour and a half we dined that did not stop. Here is why we enjoy going to a restaurant, it's the FOOD! And the food here is savory, tasty, hot, perfectly cooked, and an awesome eating experience. They offered us the best corn bread we have ever eaten topped with a chef recipe Maple and Bourbon topping which tasted fantastic. We ate the Salmon, crabmeat and shrimp and I could not finish it because it was a large portion which almost never happens. So come prepared to eat. My lovely, pristine beauty dining mate had their kissed fried shrimp that were so light, the shrimp floated above the surface of the table waiting patiently as they danced into our mouths. The candied sweet potato's were divine, and the collard greens were perfect. You don't just enjoy this food, you savor every bite! Like everybody I have gotten used to less than stellar, fast food service nowadays given the challenge with finding good labor. But this Jersey Mike's Location really needs to reevaluate It's current employee roster. And starting with the Young gentleman who was the primary person making sandwiches the day I visited, they need to give this kid the pink slip or find a new way to motivate him because he was clearly not happy about being at work and seemingly took it out on the customers via excruciating, slow and sloppy customer service. From the time we walked in the front door to the time I finally paid for my sandwiches and left, It took almost 25 minutes. And I know you're reading this and saying why would you stick around that long but this was one of those days when I just wasn't willing to go somewhere else Simply because Service wasn't up to standards. But I should have. One of the problems is, they seemingly didn't have a good system for handling large corporate orders, while simultaneously serving regular customers. This was punctuated by two employees, consistently, crossing back-and-forth between the primary employees preparing sandwiches, which further disrupted time and precision. Three or four customers bought their sandwiches back to the front counter while I was in line because they were either made incorrectly or missing ingredients. I would definitely avoid this location if you have somewhere important to be or just need to get things done during the day.

There was some good banter with customers which made the space feel really comfortable. For example, I mentioned they kept it cold, and customer behind agreed 1000%, and the staffer made light hearted comment "We sweatin back here in the kitchen". It started going downhill as the wait time was not fast. There were no customers when I entered and it took a long time to make the sandwich. I didn't time it, but estimating over 10 minutes. I did order a hot sub so they needed to cook it. I think cold subs are faster. Secondly, as noted on last visit, I was not a fan of the spongey bread. I ordered the basic white bread this time. I love me some good bread. The worst part was the taste of the sub. This has nothing to do with local store employees, as they are making sandwiches per restaurant chain recipe. The chipotle mayo in my CHIPOTLE BEEF CHEESESTEAK was gross. It didn't even look appetizing (see picture). It was so bad that I questioned if I would finish it, but had missed lunch and was eating a late dinner so I was super hungry and didn't want to find something else to eat. On the way out, the friendly staff asked how I liked the sandwich and I said I would not order again. One piped up and replied, "yeah, i don't like that chipotle mayo either" and recommended the cheeseteak without the mayo. Again, kudos for the staff for being friendly and honest, but I am not liking the chain.
