    After 25 minutes

If you want quick service I would say go somewhere else, I see why they don't have a drive though. 25 minutes in line with 7 people in front of us. Service was slow but very nice Food was good

Spicy chicken, avocado, and cabbage in a warm pita- yum!

While I'd advise you to slip staying in the hotel where this restaurant sits, the restaurant itself (and the other one downstairs, fleeting) were bright spots in an otherwise lackluster hotel stay. We enjoyed breakfast here a few days. The service is fantastic (we saw Miranda a couple times and she made us feel like regulars, remembering our order and offering some sight seeing tips), all staff was friendly, fun and knowledgeable about the menu. The food is well done, with a Mediterranean influnce. We enjoyed the shakshuka (highly reco you add the kefta and ask for oven bread instead of the sourdough) and the Turkish eggs (also reco asking for the oven bread with this one), both dishes were flavorful and well executed (and we try shakshuka everywhere we see it!) We also had evening snacks one night and enjoyed the hummus with the mushroom add on and some of their signature drinks. Staff In the evening was also strong and didn't disappoint. If we ever find ourselves back in Sav we won't stay at the hotel Thompson but we will stop into Bar Julian!

Then we ordered a shepard salad. They didn't have to do this, but it was very nice, they split it in to two for us. The salad was really good, it was chopped and loaded with flavor. I thought my wife was getting a gyro, at the last second she went with a falafel pita instead. It tasted good but she said the texture was bit funky. Awsome fries! Me, I had lamb chops, it was served with asparagus and rice. First the rice , a normal sized portion, and it tasted good. The asparagus, cooked perfect, also incredible good. Finally the lamb chops, OMG, cooked perfect, tasted great. Loved the lamb chops! We finished it off with some baklava. The whipped cream on it was different, but it was good. I would like to thank out server, she was wonderful and made it great meal! See ya in Ft Lauderdale

I love Mediterranean food, no matter where from, and know that every type is just a little different. We started with a shepherd's salad and server, without asking, had it split in the kitchen. So nice and thoughtful. The salad had great flavor and my husband and I loved it. We would have both preferred slab feta or even crumbled feta instead of shredded feta. Personal preference but we still loved it and we could taste the feta, so it wasn't a deal breaker. My husband has the lamb. He loved it. It wasn't a plate full of rice, which he also appreciated. The pricing was reasonable and the lamb was cooked perfect. I had the Falafal sandwich. I would have preferred tahini vs tzatziki but it was tasty. The Falafal was a little mushy for my palate but still good. They came with steak fries - my favorite kind of fry! We ended with the baklava. Every baklava we have ever had is different and we LOVED it. I was so full and was only going to have 1 bite, but that wasn't my story. Our server was amazing. She was friendly and helpful. She asked where we were from and recommended a few restaurants in South Florida for us to try. The restaurant can be fancy or casual - your choice. They made us feel welcomed and we enjoyed our meals. We would definitely go back next visit to Savannah - and there will be many more trips if our daughter ends up going to SCAD.

I love Greek food and I always enjoy venturing out to new restaurants. I went in on a Wednesday. My waitress, Hannah, was amazing. I cannot thank her enough for the level of service and the overall hospitality I experienced here. She let me try some wine, before I decided to commit to one. I also was provided a complimentary appetizer and she said "OPA" with me. It was truly an experience. I decided to try the branzino and I'm so happy I did! The fish was seasoned to perfection- it was fresh and light. I enjoyed it with their rice/peas and you have to have the Greek lemon potatoes. The food in itself had me wishing that I had more time to try more entrees on the menu. I had lived in Savannah for over three years and had neglected to visit them. I took the Greek lemon chicken home and Hannah packed me a little dessert to enjoy. I had mentioned my apartment was packed and she packed me extra silverware and napkins to go. She put the most level of CARE into my visit and I'm so grateful she was my waitress. Final Verdict: I will be stopping by whenever I'm in the area again. This has to be one of the best Greek restaurants, if not the best I've tried in my life.

It's located on top of The Alida hotel (also one of my fave boutique hotels) in the historic River Street district. I've had the chance to visit The Lost Square both during the winter and this past week during the summer. They have a great view of the river and cozy lounge seating, as well as a full bar. The first time I visited was near Christmas and it was freezing outside, but they had a burning fireplace and the cutest little enclosed glass houses you could sit in to enjoy your drinks. During my recent visit, we had our 1 yr old son with us and decided to have dinner there and enjoy the weather. I had the Valencian Spritz (reposado, orange aperitif wine, fresh orange, white pepper, and cava) which was the perfect summer drink. My husband had the Soft Light mocktail (zero proof gin, papaya, kefir, and saline). For food, we started with the Labneh dip topped with olive oil, za'atar, and honey with fresh pitas on the side. Wow, this has got to be the best pita I've ever had. They were so fluffy, warm, and well seasoned. We even got a second order. The labneh dip was phenomenal -- highly recommend for an appetizer or just a snack. We also shared to the falafel bites and the Alida Burger which was very tasty! We'll definitely be back for another visit the next time we're in Savannah!

They started doing mini catering to pick up at the store too. I ordered falafel, hummus and pita bread to bring to a friend's Hanukkah celebration. One of the owners reached out a day or two later asking how the celebration and food was. Everything was excellent! My friends usually make their own falafel and hummus, and even they were impressed. We enjoyed the sundried tomato and rosemary hummus and the pesto basil hummus. They are also very conscious about labeling their products as vegan or just dairy free, but made with honey so not vegan. The hummus is also entirely gluten free. I will definitely be back for more hummus and falafel!
