I was surprised at how many bad reviews that this Panera has because I've never had a bad experience here. Maybe I just always come at the right time? Anyway, when I was a regular meat eater I usually ordered the Asian chicken salad (I think that's what it's called) because the dressing is amazing, and the servings were pretty hefty. Nowadays I usually only come here to get some work done and have their iced chai tea latte. Surprisingly it is still the best I've had compared to Peet's Coffee and Starbucks. I do not come here enough. The food is fresh, healthy and fairly inexpensive . Quality does cost. We arrived at 11am on Sunday, as the menu was being switched from breakfast to lunch. My husband got the Bacon Turkey Bravo and I ordered a classic turkey in Tomato Basil bread. They give the choice of bread, chips or fruit as a side. Of course we both chose chips lol. Pretty cool how your name is on the screen as your meal is "preparing" then switches over to "ready" once available. Seamless. As for the taste, so good!! My wife and I had a bad experience yesterday morning 10/8 . We ordered bagels, cream cheese, box of pastries, souple and their coffee. Their employee in the counter , Carson was rude on us. They need to fire him. I don't think he likes his job. One of the server , a mexican lady approached us and and told us why we are disappointed. My wife and I told her that Carson was rude on us. He did not give us utensils and plate until he was told. He did not offer to warm the bagels knowing that we are going to eat there. It sucks to have a morning experience like that. This is not the only Panera place in town.If I am the owner of this franchise, I will be disappointed too, if you have employees like this. This review is only for their bagel packages, drive thru & to-go: MORNING BAGELS: -The choices are very similar to other bagel cafes. I do like that they give you the option of slicing the bagel. I just wish they had more savory choices for cream cheese. Prices are fair too for the packages. DRIVE-THRU: -Only have been through a couple of times and those times were very quick (breakfast and lunch). I know that they do get packed so I'm not too sure when the best time to go as I haven't had to be stuck in a long line. TO-GO: I always found this option to be the best during lunch time. Just call ahead, they'll give you a time (or if you have a super large order you can order ahead of time and state the pick up) and they'll help you out. I have to give credit where credit is due. today panera did very well for me. I tried the ordering online thing and was able to pick my food up in a matter of seconds even though the drive thru line is about a mile long the restaurant is packed every table is full. We came looking for croissants, which were delicious, moist, buttery and just crisp enough on the outside, but meltingly tender on the inside. My husband ordered a BBQ chicken flatbread sandwich, modified to remove unwanted elements like spinach. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich, cheddar on rye, because I really don't care for American cheese. However, much to my unhappy surprise, the cheddar was smoked. Not good. In fact, just about ALL their cheeses are smoked. Smoked. All. :( Then enter Raymond, the manager. Raymond bent over backwards to make sure I could have a lunch that suited me. He patiently explained all the ingredients with a big smile. He was friendly and helpful - so much so, I plan to come back for another visit. (I'll just be careful about the cheese.) We love Panera Bread, and this location is close to our office. We use their catering a LOT, and the catering manager is excellent. However, as a Regular Panera patron, this location can prove to be "tricky" due to the amount of traffic/customers. I HIGHLY recommend using Panera app to order for pick up. RARELY has my order been incorrect, but please check bag/items before leaving. We tend to order this way, and BEFORE the lunch crowd. Once again, this location has HIGH VOLUME of customers at peak hours. The drive through is nice, but you will want to catch it EARLY (before 6:30A, or before 11:30A) and even still, there will be at least 4-8 cars in line. I have loved items that have been discontinued, another MINUS in my eyes. The soba noodle SALAD was a favorite. The thai style flatbread was another. If you have a "seasonal" item, or discontinue an item, at least replace with something as appetizing (okay, a CORPORATE complaint, not location!) The staff here is pretty friendly. I've seen them "abused" by customers more times than I can count. I can't see the point in freaking out about bagels for meetings, but okay! These folks appreciate friendliness and patience, and I do my best to give them the SAME back. Again, I STRESS ordering online or using app when at all possible....BUSY BUSY location! My family loves Panera specially their pastry and Mac and cheese which is why I always give it a chance hoping things will improve but I always had an issue with orders. One way or another somehow there was a mistake. So I decided to give a review. Today, I spent a lot of time trying to get my order right. At first I ordered at drive thru. After they handed me the bag I read the receipt and it was missing a kids meal. At first I thought it was just a missing kids meal so I went inside and ordered it just to get it done. I double checked the first bag with my order and I found out that I'm missing 1 Mac and cheese, 1 soup, 2 apples. It was a bit frustrating, I just felt the apology was not sincere. Arrived about 6:30pm, hungry, with my husband. They were out of the bread for the sandwich he ordered, they were also out of most pastries, including all cookies and brownies. My husband was able to order a muffin. but we were still offered the 99 cents for a cookie, even though there were none to choose from. When sliding our Panera Rewards Card, it froze up the machine, and the cashier had to reboot it several times til it finally worked. The fruit punch was out, was very light pink and mostly water. The restaurant was busy, only tables open were dirty. We found a small one connected to a larger table other people were sitting at. Took forever for our pager to go off. I got the baguette with my salad and had to go back up for butter, and my husband had to go back up for his muffin. Not a fun experience for dinner tonight. read more

I did an online order for pickup, and my food either didn't get made or was picked up by someone else. I was still charged for my food and they refused to make it right by replacing the order or refunding me. Now I have to dispute the charge with my bank because they're being awful. Not only did that happen, but when I tried to find out what I could do, the lady at the counter suggested that perhaps I didn't actually order food, but imagined doing so, or that I was incapable of using a computer. We were hungry and decided to stop by Panera to grab some quick dinner. This would technically be my second time going and when I got there, I took a longer amount of time to decide what I wanted from the menu because I was still unfamiliar with what they had. I noticed the kiosks on the side and I was so happy and relieved because not only did each dish have a picture next to it, but it also listed the ingredients and I knew exactly what was in the dish I would be getting. When we ordered, we went to go find a table to sit. There were many clean empty tables and the music was quiet and relaxing. After we sat down, it didn't take long before our food was ready. Our food was perfect, 10/10, and it left us full and satisfied for the rest of the evening. I'm so happy we chose to eat at Panera! Will definitely come again! read more

The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars is because I've been a frequent customer since this place has opened and always had pretty good service. However, today in particular, I came in because I needed to get some homework done and I figured that Panera was a pretty quiet, safe place to do so. I sat in the back corner where all the booths are. Come to realize that those specific booths are where the employees like to take their breaks together, and for some reason it feels that even though they are not on the clock, they still have their panera uniform on, and they have absolutely NO courtesy of the customers around them. They are loud, disruptive, and 3 workers in particular (2 girls and 1 guy) took it upon themselves to joke with each other through the window, and proceeded to make faces at each other, causing another worker to bang loudly and yell, "I HAVE TO CLEAN THAT YOU KNOW!" Another customer and I even looked at each other like are these guys serious? Extremely unprofessional and rude. If you're in a public place, its' common courtesy and common SENSE to not be a distraction for the sake of people around you, but it only made this place worse for me knowing that it's their own employees that were the issue. I used to always come here to get homework done, but after tonight I'm definitely taking my business elsewhere. If I wanted to watch children play, I could've just gone to the park. read more

I was so excited when this restaurant opened up, especially with a drive thru. The food quality has been fairly good so far, but my gripe is with the drive thru service. 9 out of 10 times they have left something off of my order. They didn't know one of their own salads required cilantro. They have left out the sides, the salad dressings, pickles, etc. This last time it was a pickle. At first I thought it was due to everyone being new. But when I went back today, same thing, left out part of my order. The only good thing is when I complain to the manager he gives me my order free. I don't want my order free though, I want my order exactly as it should be. I go to this Panera a couple of times a week for coffee or to get lunch. I usually use the drive-thru, but I have also been inside many times. This location is great. The employees that work the drive through are very personable and fast. I love the hazelnut coffee, avocado spinach breakfast sandwich and the lentil quinoa broth bowl. Panera Bread is so hype. I have a rewards card pretending to be an old man born in the 40's who's super into bread, whenever I order online I leave a sentence about how good the bread is. I want the employees to think old people appreciate what they do because older folks can be some of the worst customers. The mac and cheese is delicious, I once blew a decent chunk of my check on a 4 person mac and cheese bundle and ate it myself. The sandwiches are great, too. I'm a vegetarian so I can't speak for the meat but I've never had a bad experience at Panera. And with your rewards card, all you need to do is stop in to get points. No items hold more or less point value. read more

Food was another story. stick to Danielle's Creperie (Watt and Fair Oaks Blvd) for French onion soup.. no comparison. I have been using this location for the nearly three months. The frequency of my visits is only four times a month, on Saturdays and Sundays only. The purpose of this review is not about the Bagels. The Bagels are always wonderful and the cream cheeses very satisfying. However, this review is about an employee "Shannie" and her excellence in Customer Service. She greets me by name each visit. She is enthusiastic and cheerful about the customers and her job. She has a unique way of making you feel that she is there just for you which is actually quite refreshing. In this day and age, people often fail to recognize the efforts of another, especially when paying for a service. But Shannie goes above and beyond. I am so disappointed. At one time I worked nearby and visited a couple of times a month. I made a special trip to get a Green Goddess salad to go. When the container was opened the onions were unidentifiable. The boiled eggs and tomatoes were very old. The salad was thrown in the garbage untouched. Shameful! read more

I went today on my lunch break with a friend from work. We both ordered a salad and sandwich and it wasn't as good as I had expected. Not a lot of meat on either the sandwich or the soup. The service was really slow but it is a new business on this side of town so I think once the employees get more experience that will fix itself.
