    3 protein bowl

Food is delicious! So fresh and healthy quantities. Andrea was so funny and sweet! Welcomed us in and answered questions from my son. Thanks to her I'll definitely be back!

This is the best bowl combo. Add a little bit of soy sauce.

Probably the best poke in town. Pretty decently priced. Employees are very nice. See attached photo for the best bowl combo.

This was my first time at poke cube. I was amazed by the friendly stuff. I didn't get the girl's name but she was very helpful. The food was fresh and the price was great. The restaurant was clean and the painting on the wall was nice. Reminded me of Hawaii. I will definitely be coming back.

    2 scoop bowl. Yum.

I got the 2 protein bowl. Half kale half rice, a scoop of spicy salmon and shoyu tuna. Got almost all the toppings and spicy Mayo and garlic ponzu. Everything looked and tasted really fresh and delicious! The lady who served us was friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back soon.

I visited Poke Cube as one of my places that wanted to eat for takeout while in the Sac area... and lo and behold, I read the recommendations and everything that they offered. Though I got takeout, my experience was rather exquisite and interesting. Food: 5/5 There was quite a big amount of selection to choose from... from ahi tuna, to garlic shrimp, and more! I honestly was impressed by the selection. There was also kale too, as well. Service: 5/5 They were really eager to help out, honestly, and gave me good recommendations. Keeping it short, but that's all I had. Atmosphere: 4/5 Though the restaurant was okay with the food and everything, I felt like the one thing they could have improved was the fact that they could have been more careful with the bagging.

Omg! I love the food at Poke's Cube. I feel like they always use fresh ingredients and turns out to be a really delicious meal. Staff is welcoming and nice. And the place is spotless!!

Went here for lunch for the first time. The service was great and fast. Food was amazing.

I love me a good poke bowl and this place doesn't disappoint. My only complaint is that I don't like their hours: I wish they'd stay open a little later (currently close at 8PM) and they're closed Sundays (which tends to be the day of the week we're more likely to want to go out for a meal). However, the food is always fresh and the portions generous. I usually get a 2 scoop bowl and my husband a 3 scoop. They charge an extra $1.50 to add avocado, FYI. Also, today I noticed they had a sign stating their prices will go up May 1, 2023. I'm curious to see by how much, since we already pay around $30 for just 2 bowls when going out with the hubs. Nonetheless, based on the quality of ingredients, the price increase is probably justified. Come give them a try :)

I went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday with less than 5 minutes wait. The overall food is alright, but one thing I want to say is you shouldn't put pineapple into the bowl I tried it and it was not good due to the sweetness from pineapple kind of mixing of the flavor of the bowl. I think it was around $16-18, but I forgot the exact number. I came from Southern California so my expectation was a bit higher than this, but overall it's still good.

I have to update my review because I come here a few times a month now. Yes, it's THAT good. The prices are higher than years ago, understandably, due to inflation, but I have a new perspective: it's worth it! I used to think a poke bowl from here was too expensive and an occasional treat but a 4 scoops bowl, which I always get, is $19.50 for SUSHI GRADE fish! Chipotle is like $13 for some regular chicken you can make at home yourself. The poke bowls here are WELL worth the price due to the high quality of sushi grade poke + they load up the bowl generously with toppings. Download the Clover app and ask them to check you in each time. After 12 check-ins, you get a free 3 scoops bowl. My go-to order is usually 2 scoops of ahi and 2 scoops of salmon (all not marinated--I love how they have non-marinated options) or I'll replace one of the scoops with scallops (also not marinated). Then, I get the base as white rice, add green onions, masago, wakame, ginger, crab salad (if I'm feeling fancy), avocado, pineapple, fried onions, furikake, and my favorite sauces: honey wasabi and mango. I ask them to add the sauces on at the end so that every topping gets the sauces. Absolutely delicious! Get your fix before Sunday because they are closed on Sunday!

Fuego. Every time. Been coming here for years and I've enjoyed every order. My bowl: 3 scoop White rice Shoyu Tuna Garlic Shrimp Spicy Salmon Red & Green onions Sauces: Garlic Ponzu, Garlic Miso, Spicy Mayo 2 x Crab salad Masago Edamame Corn Pineapple Fried Onion Bomb.

My 3 Scoops of Protein Bowl with spicy mayo, spicy mango, teriyaki sauce and about 5 of my fave toppings.

Very impressive nearly 2 inch thick cut of steak. I did find it just a bit dry but the dipping sauce saved it for me. My wife had the grilled salmon which she couldn't stop talking about. My friend got a seafood boil. Our food came out in less than 10 minutes, which was surprisingly fast. I cut into my steak right away to check the temp, it was extremely rare. Cut into a different part of steak just to make sure, also rare. When I showed our server she agreed it was rare and took it back to the kitchen. She comes back after talking to the kitchen and tells me the cook said its not rare, its just the marinade that makes it look dark. I'm like, "huh?" Cause that made no sense to me. Still they cooked the same steak another 5-7 minutes before bringing it back. Now it was a perfect medium. It was obvious they just threw the same steak back on the grill, the 2 cuts i made were still visible. All was good till our server came back to check on us, she asked how the steak came out, when I said it was perfect, she continues to insist it was medium well when I sent it back based on what the kitchen told her, several times she made excuses and would not once admit or own up to the mistake despite me showing her the cut piece of steak on my plate. I get it, most of the food here is seafood that's boiled in a plastic bag, but if you're gonna sell a 45$ steak on the menu, at least train your staff properly.

Gangnam Ave has been my absolute favorite KBBQ spot for years, and after trying several places…read morearound Sacramento, this one still tops them all. Honestly, it's so good that I haven't even felt the need to keep searching for another go-to. I've visited with small groups of 3-4 people and also larger groups of 6-10, and the experience has remained consistently great overall. One thing I like about Gangnam Ave is how their pricing works. Instead of the typical lunch vs. dinner menu, they offer Option A or Option B, where some premium meats are excluded from the cheaper option. It's basically the same concept as lunch/dinner pricing, but I appreciate that it isn't tied to the time of day. For reference, they open at 4pm on weekdays and 12pm on weekends, which feels pretty reasonable to me since KBBQ is usually more of a late lunch or dinner type of meal anyway. The variety of meats is one of the main reasons I love coming here. When I do AYCE, I'm going all in -- usually 4-5 rounds -- so I'm not trying to stick with just basic bulgogi. Gangnam Ave offers things you don't always see at other spots like small and large intestines, pork jowl, beef tongue, and spicy baby octopus, and the marinades here for some of the meats are flavorful. I've eaten at other KBBQ spots over the years for different reasons (my sister even worked at Oz for several years), but Gangnam Ave will always have a special place in my stomach. The appetizers are also solid. Their corn cheese is easily my favorite -- instead of a flat dish with watery corn and melted cheese tossed on top, they give you individual foil cups so you can throw it on the grill and melt it perfectly yourself. I'm lactose intolerant and still order it every single time. The steamed egg is always fluffy and never overcooked, and it pairs perfectly with the meats. I also usually order their soondubu; I'm not overly picky about tofu soup, but as long as it isn't watered down, I'm happy -- and theirs always hits the spot. Their drink menu is small but fun, especially if you like soju. They have some mixed soju drinks, and there's a strawberry + Sprite one with a strawberry-infused ice cube called Super Shy that has become my go-to whenever I visit. Sweet, bubbly, and dangerously easy to drink. Now for the meat itself: it comes out raw, of course, so the final result depends on how well your group can grill. If you've got someone in your group who knows what they're doing, you really can't go wrong. Portions are reasonable for the group size, orders usually come out pretty quickly, and they change the grills every round or two. Most tables have one grill for every four people, so larger groups will typically get two grills. Like most KBBQ places, the experience can depend on your server. I've had many different ones over the years -- most are great, a few are just okay -- which probably explains the mixed reviews you'll sometimes see. Personally, it's never been enough to ruin my experience. A quick tip: reservations are highly recommended for groups of four or more, and they'll usually ask ahead of time if there are kids in your party. If I had to nitpick anything, the dipping sauces are pretty simple and not particularly memorable, but nothing is perfect. The restaurant itself is small and dimly lit, but I think that's part of the charm. It feels cozy and homey -- the kind of place where you can sit around the grill with friends and family and just enjoy the moment. I've made a lot of great memories here over the years. Before moving out of state, I used to come here almost every other month with different groups of friends or family. I've included photos from several past visits with this review because they really show how often I've come here over the years. If anything, they're proof of how loyal of a returning customer I've been. ;) no bonuses or perks besides good food lol. After you're done pigging out, you can grab Melona bars or taiyaki ice cream fish sandwiches from the freezer near the front for cheap. Or if you want to extend the night, there's a Baskin-Robbins right next door for dessert. Parking is also pretty easy, and even though the lot gets a little dark at night, the bright lights from Gangnam Ave make it easy to spot. Maybe I'm a little biased because of all the good memories tied to this place, but there's a reason I've been returning for many years -- even before COVID. If you love AYCE KBBQ and want variety, good marinades, and a cozy vibe, Gangnam Ave is absolutely worth checking out.

Since I signed up for their app, I received an offer of a free " everything protein bowl", all I had to do was buy a soda. That was very generous of them. The protein bowl was excellent. There was a generous portion of all of the proteins, everything was very tender, packed with flavor, and so good. This time I had the rice instead of the salad, and I thought that the beans played much better with the rice, than they did with the salad that I had last time. I also had that pineapple cream soda that I had last time, and it is just amazing. I had enough to take Home for a second meal. Their portions are very generous. Thank you!
