Correction: This is for the Culebra location. A partly disappointing visit: I ordered the Tuna Salad sandwich; it was great. I also ordered the Toasted Garden Caprese sandwich. It was not as it appears in their app. The mozzarella was cut paper thin. I ordered no tomatoes; it had tomatoes. I've ordered it before and it was good, this time it was a fail. As always, the customer service was great. The only problem AGAIN, is the wait. I ordered on the app. It tells you when the order is ready. My food was ready, the drink was not. It took almost two minutes for the drink to come out. Unfortunately this location is very slow with the drinks--even if it is the only thing I order. read more

Ordered a bread bowl online and when we went in they were freshly out. The manger gave me a double portion of soup and two extra baguettes to make up for it, which really helped me not feel so sad about the bread bowl, as I was super hungry and hadn't had Panera in years. The place itself is a typical Panera location. I guess Panera is supposed to be really cold? But, it was cold, even for me; and I live in the Colorado Rockies half the time. Overall would go back to this Panera, and I really appreciated the customer service. (Had to order bread too just to save a few bucks on DoorDash), I bought the bowl for $10 and when I got it, it looked like a small cup of soup. You place your order, and there are no smiles, trash on tables, dirty tables, and a wait for anything you order. The food is okay, but the 151 location is better but farther. I stopped in here yesterday to grab lunch while I was working a demo at HEB. My lunch was about $20. I ordered a turkey bacon club, hibiscus tea and a chocolate chip cookie. The sandwich was not too bad but the bacon was dry and crumbly. I asked for mustard and they didn't have any. I thought oh well, at least the cookie will be good. I was wrong! It was dry and hard, unlike any I've had from there. The tea was the only thing good. I went into the restroom and the only toilet was covered with feces, so I left. This Panera is located near Bandera point in front of the HEB plus. They have a drive thru for convenience. There is also ample space inside to sit down and looks very nice. Recommend trying the "pick two" meal so you can try a couple different things. read more

I am honestly kind of laughing cause I don't know if I'm just so stunned or upset. 16.31$ is hysterical for a small container of soup and a salad that is almost or the same size as my hand and a sweet tea. The container for dressing is enough for 2 pieces of lettuce. I should probably open up a Panera if people are paying for this. Is the price worth not having repeat customers? I ordered a chicken bacon flatbread. Without cilantro or bacon. That's not the issue, they made a totally different order, when I got home it was simply a marinara flatbread. No chicken lol the actual name of the flatbread. How do they not read what the order was? The person before me got major attitude from whoever was working behind the counter. Went when they very first opened and had a great experience and a really friendly drive through guy answer our questions about what they had available considering they just opened and our food was great. But we went back a few days later for more and had the most rude and short young lady at the drive through it worst experience we have ever had. We asked 2 questions at most and she was just sighing, making rude comments under her breath unlucky for her the mic there is very sensitive, her tone of voice was far from helpful or friendly and she was the same when we drove up to her for our order, just overall very unfriendly and someone who shouldn't be dealing with customers. We only ordered a cookie, muffin and Coffee because we just wanted to leave. We did mention that we could actually hear her over the intercom and she just said "well I wasn't talking about you" zero apology. We are trying not to let this one experience put us off but we felt terrible after leaving and haven't gone back since yet. This location is relativly new, so you would think that the service and food would be spot on. Not the case! The service was adequate at best, the store was dirty and the food was barely average. I had the steak and white cheese sandwich, after a lengthy wait the sandwich had maybe 2 thinly sliced pieces of meat on it. Watching the staff, both employees and managers, you would think they hsd no training whatsoever. They didnt kniw where things were, they had to idea what customer sat was. The first and last visit to a Panera Bread we will ever make. Where to start? The place was visibly dirty when we came in. Multiple items were not available. I ordered a French onion bread bowl and when I picked up our order, I was informed they were out of onion soup, even though it showed up in the menu in the self service kiosk. The person making the bowl took a tiny chunk of the bread out and put a miniscule amount of soup in. The bread used for the bowl tasted stale. On the chicken and pepperoni baguette, we noticed a green spot on it. It wiped off, fortunately, but when I brought it to the attention of the staff, they said, "Oh, sometimes there's transfer from other ingredients like avacado." What?!? Also, the sandwich had very little meat in it. The chicken noodle soup tasted worse than canned soup. The ice machine was broken and there two open tubs of ice and two scoops that didn't look clean. There was no sweet tea available. The diet soda tasted very strange. I noticed one of the cashiers wiping her nose with ungloved hands and then pucking up cookies on top of the counter. Gross. All in all, very disappointing, considering how good their commercials make everything look. What an outright lie! We will NEVER go back again. I could have had a better meal with leftovers at home. read more

Ordered a flatbread and Caesar salad. The flatbread was stale and looked like it was not made fresh, but leftover and reheated. The salad had the same issues - not made fresh with wilted greens. Even the croutons were soggy, not crisp as a crouton should be. The only pastries available were cookies, and this was at 11am. So disappointed. I haven't eaten Panera Bread in years. I ordered the Black Forest ham sandwich. The pictures on the website looked like a healthy amount of meat...move over subway. I received 4 thin slices. I literally was eating bread. My son got the smoked chicken sandwich. We opened it up and saw several small pieces of chicken. He threw it away. These are not subs. It was alright, the food came out VERY quickly, which while normally of course a good thing, but it was literally about a 5 minute span after we checked out at the kiosk, so it was a little interesting. Perhaps the soups are already made & sandwiches were simple & quick to make, but it was very quick & why it was concerning was because our sandwiches & soup were a little hotter than lukewarm, they didn't seem super fresh or well heated. They weren't super hot like I would expect the food to be, after I just got it off the counter RIGHT when it was called out. We immediately started eating & that's when we noticed that it didn't seem super hot. The baguettes seemed really tough. The food was GOOD yes but they weren't really hot or seemingly prepared to order? This was my very first time eating at Panera, it was about 7:45-8pm. So perhaps my image of the food preparation is a little over expectant but I was imagining the food being prepared to order & it seemed it was put together very quickly while not being fully cooked or heated properly. The charged lemonades were really good! & the atmosphere was really calm & quiet because there weren't many people. It was just the food itself that seemed a little underwhelming unfortunately & the very very quick service caught us off guard, which again normally is an amazing thing but this just seemed a little TOO quick. Finally decided to try the new Panera at 1604 and Bandera. Don't waste your time! Food was awful and the manager was even worse. We tried to let them know we were unhappy and instead of offering a solution, my boyfriend was forced to argue with the manager back and forth. We called yesterday and specifically asked about ordering bread bowls that were already cut and cubed out, the super nice employee said absolutely they can do this and it was actually his suggestion. Today, we're told my by the manager that we're liars and they don't do this. What a great way to start a Saturday! Until they can get proper leadership I would avoid. read more
