    Burnt grilled cheese sandwich.

Placed a pick up order on 11/22 for dinner. Picked it up and brought it home to found the grilled cheese sandwich to be totally burnt and one of the french onion soup was the wrong size (cup instead of bowl). I drove back to ask for a refund for those items. Despite the fact that there was barely anyone in line, I waited 10 minutes for someone to talk to me. Even though I only asked for a refund for the grilled cheese and french onion soup, the manager (guy in red uniform) offered a full refund and some baked goods. I was initially pleased by this effort to make up for their initial mistakes, but over two weeks now, no refunds have been processed. Now, they have even messed up on their effort to even make up for the initial mistakes. The whole ordeal took about 1 hour. Wasted my time and money. It was a very disappointing experience.

My company ordered lunch from here and I was pleasantly surprised about the quality of the food. I ordered a salad with grains and chicken and balsamic sauce. It came with another thicker sweeter sauce too to drizzle on. The portion sizes here were much larger than other salad places I've ordered from. I didn't really like the taste of the nuts in mine, but everything else tasted like a flavorful blend. The bread was roasted nicely and came with some butter. The cookie was so soft and I liked the chocolate in it, although the cookie is more on the sweet side, so share it with a friend. I usually hear mixed things about Panera bread but my good experience counters that. I would order from here again because of the fresh quality and large portion size. They also had many options for me and my coworkers to choose from.

Got myself a fancy salad on a Monday evening, and it was delish! Customized the caesar salad, replacing the regular chicken with seared chicken thigh, and adding bacon (more protein, please!). Love Panera for their quality ingredients, whether enjoying sandwiches or soups at any of their locations. Today was no different. It was a pretty darn good salad, and even though they were out of the french baguette that typically comes on the side, I was able to substitute seasonal fruit, a pleasant combination of fresh and juicy pineapple, melons, and grapes. Easy ordering at the kiosks, only a 4-minute wait for my order to be ready at the pickup counter (notified via text on my phone), and no interaction with staff necessary. A positive experience and perfect meal thanks to Panera @First.

We had our quick bruch here today, sitting outside in the sun and enjoying a healthy hearty meal for 2 :) Lots of parking right outside this outlet and lots and lots of indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor seating has over-head heaters to make it comfy in the evenings. As u enter, there are mini i-pads at 4-5 kiosks where u can go thru the menu and customize and pay as u please. In $26, we got : - chicken avacado melt - 5/5 yummy full sandwich that we shared for $13 - brocolli cheddar soup - 5/5 full portion yummy n cheesy $9 - orange juice - 2/5- skip it. It said not from concentrate but tasted like tropicana so no point paying $4 for it Its a self service restaurant so u have to pick up your food yourself and grab cutlery (towards the left of the pick up area) and condiments (on the right near soda machine) Clean restrooms and friendly staff add to the coziness. The entrees of soup and sandwich comes with a free side. U can pick one side from the following choices: - apple - chips (a small packet of crisps) - baguette (a small piece of bread) Next time i plan to try their value meals of "small cup of soup with half a sandwich" for $9. Seems like a good deal for a snack/ lunch.

This is just the usual Panera Bread joint, nothing exceptional to note. I went on a weekday around late afternoon and stayed for a few hours to get some work done. Ordered a couple of things like soups and had no issues with them whatsoever.

ARE WE IN SILICON VALLEY? 4.5…read more One might never know this restaurant exists, tucked away near a Google business park just off Highway 101. You could stumble upon it through Yelp (as we did), discover it while staying at the adjacent Treehouse Hotel, or simply hear about it through word of mouth. The parking situation is an interesting one. After turning into the driveway from Mathilda Avenue, you have two options: turn right for valet parking or left into the Google parking lot. There are plenty of spaces available, though parking there is technically at your own risk. The restaurant told us they had not heard of anyone being ticketed or towed. We first dined here shortly after it opened in 2025 and were immediately impressed by the beautiful grounds. The hotel's eco-conscious gift shop, housed in a glass greenhouse and featuring a colorful vintage VW Bug, is a charming touch. The short walk to the restaurant feels especially relaxing on a warm, sunny day. This has become one of our favorite places to bring friends or host girls' lunches. With three distinct seating options: the dining room, bar, and patio, there's an atmosphere to suit just about any occasion, whether you're dining as a couple or gathering with a larger group. I would recommend visiting during lunch or dinner service and skipping the in-between hours. During that time, only the bar area is open and the menu is more limited. To fully experience what Valley Goat has to offer, lunch or dinner is the way to go. Despite the name, the only goat dish on the menu at the time of this review is the Goat Empanadas. My friend was initially hesitant to order them, but David, our wonderful server, and I encouraged her to give them a try. She was glad she did. There was no gamey flavor whatsoever; the meat tasted more like beef, and the accompanying sauce was excellent. Over several visits, we've enjoyed everything we've ordered and are delighted to have a restaurant of this caliber in our Bay Area backyard. Chef and co-owner Stephanie Izard, winner of Season 4 of Top Chef and an Iron Chef title, owns a total of nine restaurants, primarily in the Chicago area, along with locations in Los Angeles and one at Orlando International Airport. Since we enjoy traveling for great food, we'll definitely be adding some of her other restaurants to our list.

Today I was happy with the food, more to that later. First off, this place is not so easy for me to find. There's a blue glass building outside, which misled me to drive around, looking for somewhere else. Would be better to have a sign somewhere more visible on the street. The place was well decorated with hanging plants and gave a calm, peaceful, and open feeling. It feels great to be inside. It's also a good setting for business HH or gatherings. We started with the drinks, and I tried the Goat Gibson, thinking it must be their signature cocktail since it has their name on it. I don't like it at all. It's too savory for my palate. My Vietnamese coworker saw the ingredient list had fish sauce, and he took an interest in it. After having a few sips, he also didn't like it. The Blush Spritz was a lot more normal for a cocktail. Overall, we found the cocktails pricy for the size offered. They also ran out of Laughing Monk which was the only beer our coworkers were interested in. The food on the other hand was better. We had: -Goat empanadas: great bakery skills on the wrapping, fragrant and buttery -Crispy Quinoa + Tuna Poke Salad: fresh tuna, everyone loves the dressing -Roasted Asparagus: interesting presentation with flowers covering the asparagus. We had to dig in to find the asparagus but they tasted good and fresh. -Wood-fired Mary's chicken: half a chicken, the meat was juicy with few bones -Sticky Pork Shank: This is the best. It came with a whole knuckle-sized portion of meat on a bone. At first I was surprised that they didn't offer any serving knives but only a tong. Amazingly, the meat was so soft that the tong was the only tool we needed to break up the meat. Super soft and juicy meat with lettuce leaves on the side to mimic a Korean wrap. -Daily special of Hamachi Collar: not bad, but I prefer the Japanese hamachi kama way of cooking. This one is a big collar that had a lot of meat, but I felt like too much meat could easily make the cooking uneven. One thing we noticed though, is all 3 large plates have very similar salad on the side, all the same pickled onions. It would be good to have some differences among dishes. We also tried their Pandan Flan for dessert. I was expecting a green flan, so when a white flan appeared, it took me by surprise a bit. It did have the pandan taste once I spooned in. And the crispy rice was a pleasant addition to the dish. Lastly, onto service. We had to wait till the party was mostly there to be seated. But our waiter service was good. He gave us good suggestions and kept our water filled. Dirty dishes were also cleaned up timely. All in all we are satisfied with the meal. Some mentioned they would come back. With Google and other big companies around them, they are not short of business. Making a reservation is essential.

We each got the 2 proteins (fried chicken and hainan chicken) with the house salad and chicken rice. The singapore chili sauce was ok when mixed with the ginger scallion oil. The thai ginger soy was amazing. The sesame garlic was very sweet; I wasn't a fan. The fried chicken was amazing esp with the thai ginger soy. Hainan chicken was moist and delish. Chicken rice so good. Salad refreshing. I wish we had this in my town!

Green papaya salad: very refreshing! Loved all the different textures from the nuts and papaya and tofu. Jalapeño BBQ seitan: that first bite of the seitan may have been a little lifechanging. It tasted like beef tongue from both the flavor and texture and was deliciously smoky. Delicious!! House special rice clay pot: this had noodles on top and rice on the bottom. I LOVED the rice, almost ate the entire thing myself. The noodles had a good amount of ginger flavor, which is great if you like ginger but personally it's not my favorite. Very fragrant! We all ordered individual plates and then some to share family style. Let me tell you this was too much food and we ended up taking some home. Definitely order per person as the dish sizes are generous. In terms of food I ordered the claypot and the lemongrass deluxe. The lemongrass was slightly salty but went perfectly with white rice. As for the claypot we totally could had split this between two people. The crispy burnt rice at the bottom went well with the glass vermicelli noodles on top. This was perfectly seasoned and I definitely would come back here just for this. Im looking to try the other vegan options with more greens in it and I look forward to catching you at Merit.
