    Said but in my salad

Customer service is always great! They are very fast with getting the orders out whether you're dining in or picking up. I ordered a Ranch Parm BLT salad and found a nut in it! So for my nut allergic people be cautious! Oh and their new strawberry basil lemonade is yummy!

Napa Almond Chicken Salad Sandwich as my friend recommended. So tasty and lighter in my belly than expected.

4* food again, 5* transaction this time. The marketing worked, I was fed an ad for a new sandwich and here I am ordering it maybe 36 hours later. Tried the Signature Take Chicken Sandwich with automatic side of chips. Don't expect much garlic flavor in your garlic aioli, but the good portion of seasoned white meat chicken wasn't overly dry. Parmesan crisps were a pleasant chewy surprise--between the size of a dime and a nickel, I was grateful for the flavor and some texture. Emerald greens are, as I suspect you yourself already suspected, a pleasingly fresh if unsurprising green leaf lettuce blend. Nice rebrand, though. Best of all, this time I got the 4pk of brioche I ordered. The one on today's chicken sandwich was lovely, this pack is still soft, and best of all they come pre-sliced. Two things I love about their cinnamon roll is the touch of lemon in the icing and the fact they aren't overly greasy/buttery. Don't get me wrong, sometimes you need the sodden center of a hot Cinnabon but today was not that day for me. I like how much of their packaging is paper. The brioche came in plastic and there's a window on my cinnamon roll, but otherwise brown paper products. The chip packet is on me; if I'd been thinking I'd have stopped to select an apple as my side. Delivery was zippy once again. This driver didn't contact me like the previous one with notification of drop off, but my meal was here within 30 minutes of placing my order online. I know that intersection of WW and 35 is seldom pleasant traffic in daylight so respect for that.

YOURE BETTER OFF EATING MCD. Quality of their food is TERRIBLE. $35 for half a grilled cheese & a regular sandwich...?? For both sandwiches to be soggy & BLAND. Never again. Do not eat here. Waste of money & time.

1st time trying Panera Bread ever, it was alright.. only thing I want to complain about is the lack of chicken.. not enough chicken.. but overall the establishment is very clean!

    Black iced tea for life.

So I am sitting here sipping on my 3rd iced tea, and I just want to say I really love this Panera Bread location. It was my go-to place in New Mexico to write, and I have not found a Panera I really like in Central Texas yet. Today I came for the first time here to meet my friend for lunch and writing time, and this location is great. The staff are very friendly and fast. The staff person at the counter (I think their name was Olivia with colorful bright hair) was so sweet helping out a pair of older customers with their order and remembered them from a former visit. It made me feel like if I come back here, I will be a recognizable, valued regular customer by the staff. The restaurant is super clean thanks to their staff, and the food is great and comes out fast. They have my favorite french onion soup, which I enjoyed a big bowl of today, and a warm chocolate chip cookie. And did I mention that tasty iced tea?! My only critique is that it is super cold in here. It is Texas summer, so A/C is a necessity but it's chilly for me. Or maybe that was all the iced tea? Thanks, Panera Bread, San Marcos. I'll be back!

    Fly in Sandwich

I ordered delivery from this location and ordered a Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich among some other items. When I opened up the sandwich, I saw a fly in the food. It was still alive and the sandwich was wrapped really well so it had definitely gotten in the food at the restaurant. I called the restaurant and received a refund for the sandwich. It was a smooth process to get a refund but this should not be happening in the first place. I had to throw away the whole sandwich and find something else to eat. I was very disappointed by this whole experience.

I would have liked buffalo sauce to coat it completely like wings. Everyone enjoyed their sandwiches and definitely recommend them. McKenna was our server. She was outstanding. The first three I wrote off the mistakes; even with the same waitperson being asked for a fork three times. Our last visit "chicken fried steak night" Both my son and I ordered the special of the day ( normally I'm a #2 with Swiss guy). Him ordering just prior to me. When asked; I stated that I would have the same except that I did not want gravy. Meals all came, mine with gravy. Of course when asked; I reminded the young lady that I did not want the gravy. Return to our table without the gravy , breaded fine, yet some how burnt to C*AP. One wonders: was breading and gravy being removed, rebreaded and the meat cooking twice? H*LL my mouth tasted so burnt, I was extremely grateful the the mint bowl was soon the lobby ( kind of) Well , good luck fellows I truly want this to be another successful endeavor for you. It's got a cool modern vibe going and TVs running sports. Fried chicken and burgers are the focus with some interesting menu items. Pies to round off dessert. I really loved my 1/4 chicken korean style (spicy, gochujung). I was a bit worried when the chicken came out quick but it was on point. On the sides front, the broccoli salad was stellar. Finally the key lime pie was solid. I will definitely be back for another bite next time I'm in town.

The mixed drinks I was told were 'very very strong', but for someone who doesn't drink very much I did not find them that way. First ordered the Szechuan fries, which were OK not great. There was nothing really about them that wanted me to keep on eating them. The flavor just wasn't there. I specifically went to this restaurant for the first time for the kimchi fried chicken sandwich. It was very tasty and I really enjoyed it. There could've been more kimchi on it. I think it's worth a try. Parking is not fun. Important to note that I am not only a very experienced cook, but I have eaten at restaurants all around the world and in the US.

It was clean, industrial/minimal setting, the staff friendly and the layout very easy for my aging ma to build her own bowl on the fly. She'd been very excited checking online earlier but neglected to mark down any specific order; she loved that everything was listed right at the topping stations. Randomly selected El Hippie which proved my least favorite so far, but enjoyed the second half much more after several hours (which intrigues me, I'll have to try it again with sauces on the side). I plan to eat my way through the entire menu eventually. El Cubano is still my reigning favorite. What you can't get by delivery--through the Yelp link, anyway--is their agua fresca. Tried pineapple cucumber, my usual flavor, which was good. Three glasses good. There were two other flavors available which have unfortunately slipped my mind. During our visit students, young families, and delivery drivers came and went. Everything went smoothly, everyone seemed pleased. Grabbed a brown butter and sea salt krispie bar for later and another to send home to ma's husband. They're big enough to share with a friend if you ARE behaving, and a safely indulgent size if you are not (I haven't shared either of mine so far, just downed it with a large glass of milk and a big smile). Was surprised to find out this establishment is NOT a chain/franchise. There are a lot of bowl/salad places about these days rather like frozen yogurt in the 90s, but this one has pleased us consistently and absolutely impressed my ma so I truly hope they do well.
