You pick two--Chicken noodle Soup and poppy seed with chicken salad and baguette.

Extremely slow service at this Panera. Also they only have baguettes available as sides, no chips, nor apples, also out of chipotle mayo for the Chicken Frontega sandwich!!!..... The cashier person barely spoke....I had to inquire about the sides.....not customer friendly. Perhaps she should be making sandwiches versus working the register. The ambiance is as expected at a Panera.

Overpriced and portions small. I have eaten there 5 times and have yet to find something that would make me want to go back.

The food is good if they get the order correct. Make sure you double check everything especially on carry out. They regularly miss items.

Both of the sandwiches were good, but the bread they were served on was the real winner. Also had some type of potato soup that was only okay. Had to try a couple of desserts too! Both were pretty good, my favorite was some type of bread with strawberries. Don't remember the name, but it was a very unique banana breadlike dessert, only made with strawberries. Very cool vibes in the restaurant, surfer themed! Outdoor seating on the river is nice too.

This place was recommended, so we decided to give it a try on a cold Saturday morning. Food: We ordered a couple of lattes and some breakfast. For drinks, it was one Vanilla Latte and one London Fog Tea Latte. We asked for mugs, but they were served in glasses instead. Not quite the same, but acceptable. Both drinks were made well, with good texture, nice flavor, and the right temperature. For food, we ordered one Veggie Quiche and a piece of Spanakopita. After they were reheated properly (see Service below), both were very good. I had the Spanakopita, and it was loaded with spinach and feta. The dough-to-filling ratio was excellent. The flavors were rich and complex. The portion size was large, larger than my appetite, but I somehow managed to keep working on it until I was completely stuffed. Service: The service around the food was disappointing. Even though we were clearly dining in, our order was marked as takeout. This created a number of issues. When the food arrived in takeout containers, I mentioned that we were eating inside (especially obvious since our drinks were in glasses). The server simply shrugged and said, "Oh well, they are marked as takeout." I went to the counter and asked for plates and that the food be brought to the proper temperature. It took a while, but they eventually returned with the food reheated, served on plates, and replaced the plastic utensils with metal ones. There was very little acknowledgment that a mistake had been made, and no real apology for the delays. Atmosphere: The place is rustic and right on the water. It reminded me of a fish shanty, in a charming way. There are a couple of different rooms for seating, and we chose one in the back that was quieter. I liked the authentic feel of it. However, there were some areas with old furniture piled up for storage, which took away a bit from the overall look. They also have an outdoor patio that overlooks the river, which would be a lovely spot to sit on a warm day. We would go back. If we ordered food again, I would just make sure they clearly understood from the start that we were dining in so the details were handled correctly.

Looked into why even with 5 reviews (5 star) it was ranked #2 in searches of restaurants near our stay. There's a cluster of Hmong restaurants and a bakery on this block and more on the street! Went with the Hmong sausage based on prior reviews and got the stir-fry bamboo with pork for something interesting and a taste contrast. Sausage is moist not dry and uniquely paired with the purple sticky/wild rice. Bamboo shoots are more fresh rather than fermented (I know some prefer the complexity of the latter), but this does not ruin the dish - here the flavors are bright and complementing those of the basil. Noticed the tendon/pork belly soup at $5 and this is a must even to share. This is probably the core beef broth they use in their soups served with sliced beef tendon and pork belly. It's a great complement to the meal with a peppery (rather than spicy) kick in the broth. I enjoyed it with a little white rice mixed in. Wound up ordering a nava dessert rather than a drink for the same price. Good coconut base plus a beautifully arranged layers of colored tapioca, and cendol. Team service made sure we were taken care of.

Get the house papaya salad and eat with some sticky rice. The salad was pungent, funky, and so umami packed we ate every bit of it. The Hmong sausage with purple rice seems simple but it is excellent. And definitely get the garlic string beans. I kept eating even though I was full, it was so addictive. Five thumbs up. Miss it already.
