My wife and I met up here yesterday because we were next door at the Tmobile store. She wanted soup since it was cold, so I suggested that we can go next door to see what Panera Beard has to offer. This store is in a plaza with a lot of parking spots since there are other stores here as well. When we walked in, they had just about 3 other guest inside and my wife looked at their menu. She decided to get their chicken noodle soup to go. The soup itself was pretty pricey so she was hoping it would be decent. She was highly disappointed when she got home because they didn't fill up the soup to the top of the cup along with not getting a lot of noodles and you pay a high price for such so little food. She was not happy to the point that I think this is the last time she would ever want to try another Panera Beard store again. Inside of the place is okay, it's organized and cleaned but I just think it's outdated. Service: 5 star, no issues with the workers because they are nice. Atmosphere: 3.5 star, the place is okay buy just seem very outdated to me Food: 2 star, the value of the food and the price for it was just not worth it based on our experience. Went a few nights for dinner and a sweet treat. Ordered food and cookie and cinnamon roll for my daughter. I walked over to the counter and saw bugs all over the treats. First time at this location. We ordered pick up. Enter the store and was not even acknowledged. Cashier (young woman) looks up, says nothing. Continue to walk to middle of restaurant where pick up area is and young man glances, turns his back and walks away. Our order was on counter so we grabbed it and left. Unfortunately our order was incorrect. We filled out a survey since they sent it to our email. We were contacted by "Breeze Bowen" in management inviting us back to give them another opportunity. We accepted and have not heard a peep again, making the situation worse than before them reaching out. Our regular Panera store is wonderful. Judging by the Yelp ratings at this store it appears this is a store standard problem and corporate should address this. The assistant manager there is always nice even when the other staff members are misbehaving. I heard on a few occasions she ask them nicely to stop but they don't ever listen. They already make you order from just their app, no longer available on postmates and you can't call in orders, which annoying . I came here because I got a gift card, and was disappointed in the portion sizes. The chipotle chicken avocado melt barely had any avocado and was clearly not worth the $5. The sandwiches were so small that you can see the smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich is barely the size of the top of the fork! Also, the smokehouse sandwich bread was so squishy and not very appetizing. The salads ordered were good, and in my opinion the only thing worth ordering other than bakery items. I love Panera soup, it's the only thing they do right. Sandwhiches never have enough meat and it's all bread. If you order online, expect to wait an extra 10-15 minutes. Check your order because there is a good chance it's missing. I hate to give this place a such a low rating but the last 2 experiences here have been a nightmare. I'm a member of the Sip Club. I go to this Panera almost every day. The employees are wonderful. I'd like to recognize one particular staff member. Her name is Karla. Every time I get in line to get my hot or cold drink she is quick to help me and all other customers. She also is willing to go the extra mile to make sure each order, each customer leaves completely satisfied with their purchase and service. My visit to pick up my order was a disaster. Took a screen shot of my name and order number. One of the workers asked to see my order number over 5 times and kept walking back and forth. Finally was told my order was being worked on (even though it was supposed to be ready for pick up at a certain time) another worker gave me my order without giving me my cup for a drink since I had a drink included. I came here in the afternoon around 1:30 not too busy for a Sunday afternoon. And I was very impressed with all the wonderful staff, service was timely and friendly. This Panera is a hit or miss. Some days the service is great and then it's not, where their employees aren't on the same page. Let me clarify a little more; I ordered a you pick two (chili and salad), when my order came out it only had one item on it. The server put my plate down, went to leave and before she could run away I asked her where my other item was. She said oh we ran out of the chili a while ago, but you can pick something else and I'll bring it to you. Ok well thanks for that, but it would of been nice to know that you ran out of something before I made my order, that way I wasn't rushed to choose something right at that moment. However, I seemed to have more good days with them then bad. Just be nice if the cashiers knew when they were out of items to let their customers know. I have ordered strawberry chicken salad with poppy seeds dressing. This was the worst strawberry chicken salad I have ever try. It was kinda fresh and looked cute. However, the recipe is so tasteless. I know what I'm talking about, I have tried strawberry chicken salad almost everywhere and I make it myself as well. This was first of all, too sweet. Besides strawberries they added canned tangerine and pineapple which does not go together in a salad at all! It was insanely sweet with the poppyseed dressing and all the fruits together. Chicken was so watery looks like those from the freezer in grocery store. It lucked salt, pepper and flavor in general. This ONLY applies to the WLV branch: Important to note; I most only patronize this branch because it's my closest Panera and I belong to their Sip Club. I'd say because if it I average going there once every other day - I'm a thirsty guy, and the more beverages you get using Sip Club, the cheaper they are. For example, if I do have minimum 15 drinks a month, each one is less than a dollar! And those are big cups. As for ambiance - it's a small location, but okay - and most employees are pleasant and polite. However, I only give 4 stars because I don't like how they've changed over the last few months - and I'm sure it's corporate mandated - but they are now set up for ONLY onscreen, digital paying; if they take cash, you have to wait and try to get someone's attention to try and assist you without the screen. Other Paneras seem to still have cashiers in addition to the screen. This is probably because this small Panera is trying to save on personnel. Also, even when I order on my phone in the parking lot before I come in, and I wait until the text that says the order is ready, I go in and I still can't find my cup on the Rapid take out shelves. So I ALWAYS have to go to their food pick up window and get a food prepper to give me a cup. I preferred it when you could just take your own cup from next to the registers, which they've taken away. Bummer - I guess they figured people took cups without being in Sip Club.
