My wife and I met up here yesterday because we were next door at the Tmobile store. She wanted soup since it was cold, so I suggested that we can go next door to see what Panera Beard has to offer. This store is in a plaza with a lot of parking spots since there are other stores here as well. When we walked in, they had just about 3 other guest inside and my wife looked at their menu. She decided to get their chicken noodle soup to go. The soup itself was pretty pricey so she was hoping it would be decent. She was highly disappointed when she got home because they didn't fill up the soup to the top of the cup along with not getting a lot of noodles and you pay a high price for such so little food. She was not happy to the point that I think this is the last time she would ever want to try another Panera Beard store again. Inside of the place is okay, it's organized and cleaned but I just think it's outdated. Service: 5 star, no issues with the workers because they are nice. Atmosphere: 3.5 star, the place is okay buy just seem very outdated to me Food: 2 star, the value of the food and the price for it was just not worth it based on our experience. Despite the low reviews on the food, I still enjoy their soups and some other offerings. However due to a recent door dash situation, I am very disappointed in their customer service. I received my soups but the grilled cheese was missing. The driver went above and beyond and went all the way back to the store and was going to bring it to me. They refused to release (a grilled cheese) to her that costs them mere cents. I called to verify my identify and that I approved this and the manager hung up on me. Disappointed that they messed up a very simple order and more disappointed in the customer service and handling of my situation afterwards. Unfortunately our order was incorrect. We filled out a survey since they sent it to our email. We were contacted by "Breeze Bowen" in management inviting us back to give them another opportunity. The assistant manager there is always nice even when the other staff members are misbehaving. I heard on a few occasions she ask them nicely to stop but they don't ever listen. I came here because I got a gift card, and was disappointed in the portion sizes. The chipotle chicken avocado melt barely had any avocado and was clearly not worth the $5. The sandwiches were so small that you can see the smokehouse bbq chicken sandwich is barely the size of the top of the fork! Also, the smokehouse sandwich bread was so squishy and not very appetizing. The salads ordered were good, and in my opinion the only thing worth ordering other than bakery items. I graciously gave it 2 stars because the actual two spoonfuls of food you get taste great. I am posting a picture of the portions and the receipt because I'm disgusted with the cash to food ratio...a small Mac and cheese was $8.14 and each soup was $9.12. Once I arrived to pick up the order, I saw 3 staff just standing around and they just looked at me when I approached the counter. After a long silence, one girl finally offered to speak to me. She told me my order wasn't ready yet (it was ordered and paid for ahead of time). then exhausted by her 10 second interaction, looked at her superior and asked if she could go on a break now! The person she asked could apparently "read a room" better than she because he said "absolutely not...we are swamped" and told her to get to work. I am used to bad customer service which is why I love the "order and pay ahead" options now available to us. Love the food, but over time the service has gotten pretty bad and the restaurant needs a major upgrade and really needs to be cleaned. I love Panera soup, it's the only thing they do right. Sandwhiches never have enough meat and it's all bread. If you order online, expect to wait an extra 10-15 minutes. My visit to pick up my order was a disaster. Took a screen shot of my name and order number. One of the workers asked to see my order number over 5 times and kept walking back and forth. This Panera is a hit or miss. Some days the service is great and then it's not, where their employees aren't on the same page. Let me clarify a little more; I ordered a you pick two (chili and salad), when my order came out it only had one item on it. The server put my plate down, went to leave and before she could run away I asked her where my other item was. She said oh we ran out of the chili a while ago, but you can pick something else and I'll bring it to you. Ok well thanks for that, but it would of been nice to know that you ran out of something before I made my order, that way I wasn't rushed to choose something right at that moment. However, I seemed to have more good days with them then bad. Just be nice if the cashiers knew when they were out of items to let their customers know. I have ordered strawberry chicken salad with poppy seeds dressing. This was the worst strawberry chicken salad I have ever try. It was kinda fresh and looked cute. However, the recipe is so tasteless. I know what I'm talking about, I have tried strawberry chicken salad almost everywhere and I make it myself as well. This was first of all, too sweet. Besides strawberries they added canned tangerine and pineapple which does not go together in a salad at all! It was insanely sweet with the poppyseed dressing and all the fruits together.
