By Far The worse service ever. I ordered The bacon Turkey bravo and I don't even know what they gave me. It had bacon Turkey and avocado! Gross. I called to speak to the manager which he refused to give me his name but it doesn't even matter, this location sucks! The staff including the manager need more training. Had an early dinner with my mom today. Curbside service was great, food was delicious, they were very generous with the portions of food. Other Panera's usually skimp a little especially on the salads. Curbside staff was great they even ran back in the grab me some extra utensils. Being that we are all dealing with a difficult and unusual situation right now I was very patient with my situation. If you are completing an online pick-up where they they are suppose to take the items to your car, don't waste your time, they are not coming out to deliver. I waited patiently for 30 minutes in my car while they saw me there many times where both the male and female workers walked back and forth, very slowly, and just continued what they were doing. They never acknowledged me. I finally got out of my car and they wanted to give me my food that had apparently been sitting there the whole time. Very disappointed this time around. The lady that was parked next to me was not assisted either until she hit down. Just use drive through so you don't have to worry about getting down. read more

Just left and paid 20 bucks for a group chicken noodle soup... not sure what they consider a group but the portion it came in was small... maybe enough for 1 person. 85 percent of the so called soup was broth .... I used the drive-thru for the first time at this location on Wed. I bought 2 dozen bagels w/ 2 cream cheese packs for my office team, just to lift up their spirits throughout this COVID times. When I got to the window she handle me 2 boxes of the bagels and the window closed. I thought the cream cheese was in the box with the bagels and I drove back to the office. I opened the box and no cream cheese. I called back the manager and she apologizes and said she will have one of the girls deliver the 2 cream cheese. They are not far from our office. I ordered a salad and said it would be ready in 10 mins for rapid pickup. As I got there my order wasn't even ready and my name wasn't even on the board for "processing". Very disappointed with the food ordered today. I wanted the advertised $6.99 duet (half salad & half sand) what I got was $15+ order!!! Lazy lazy lazy employees, I ordered a take out using email system, gave them a lot of time before I showed up (half hour at least ) I arrived and click "I'm here " per instructions twice. Waited 15 minutes right in front of door. Nobody came out.Common sense would be for workers to come to the door and ask me if I'm waiting for an order etc. Now it's been 45 minutes. Walked inside, female employee gave me my food, and when I was going to ask her a question about the email " I'm here" . She just turned around and walked away without even saying thank you. Rude service. No customer etiquette and common sense. Went yesterday morning, got a dozen bagels and they were a bit hard. I should have gone back yesterday and return them but did not want to waste my time arguing. They did not taste freshly baked. This morning trying to eat the left overs and the bagel are hard as a rock, Sara Lee's are softer. I could not eat it so I threw it away. I love Panera bread and was excited to see a location open up in South Gate, however the excitement didn't last very long. I went here on 3 different occasions and all 3 times they provided the worst customer service, so here I am about to rant. The first time I went, I had placed an order online for rapid pick up. It was raining so I went through the drive thru to pick up my items and the girl at the window refused to give me my food ! She insisted that I park, and walk in to get my food. After going back and forth for about 5 minutes as to why she couldn't just give me my food, she finally gave me my order and said this was the only time they would allow it. WTF? The second time, I pre-ordered a coffee tote and bagels for a meeting at work. I went in to pick up my items and instead of giving me the tote, the girl handed me my bagels and 1 coffee cup. I quickly pointed out the mistake. The girl looked puzzled she didn't seem to know what I was talking about until a manager over heard and quickly apologized and started brewing the 96 ounces of coffee I had ordered HOURS in advance. I waited an extra 15 minutes and it threw my whole schedule way off. The girl apologized to the manager for messing up, but she never apologized to me or said anything else. Now today, after a couple of months, I decided to give it another shot. I ordered drive thru and the guy taking my order seemed to be in a rush, he wouldn't even let me finish my sentence when he would cut me off and ask me if that would complete my order. Now the girl that charged me, was too busy talking to her coworker that she didn't even notice I was handing her my card. She charged me and before I could say thank you, she had already walked away. They have a drive thru at this location but I decided to dine in. There was no line and Leah I believe her was helpful and nice. The food was good. I pick a table went to wash my hands came back to my table only to realize there was remnants of someone's breakfast on the seat. I cleaned up and enjoyed my meal. I quickly realized that the nice setup is suffering on lazy staff. The person who typically cleans table and sweeps is too busy gossiping with the cashiers. This most of the table have trash and food under them. What irked me was a woman walked in but straight to pick up instead of the ordering counter. A young man walked to the register and helped but his colleagues just laughed. Really why is that funny. Had it been me that walked in I would've left. I love Panera but this closest location to me so I just have to pass. read more

I went to this panera during my lunch hour and ordered via kiosk. I waited 20 minutes before getting up to check if my food was ready and I was told that the order was not received and that the kiosk sometimes doesn't process payments. I was understanding of the issue I let the manager look up my order and had the patience to wait for my meal. I ordered a broccoli cheddar soup, with a side salad that had added avocado slices, and a cookie. When my order finally arrived I came to find that my salad didn't have the avocado slices. So again I have to go and ask for something that was clearly noted in my order. And while eating I noticed that no one had added the cookie to my meal but it was also clearly on my order. At that point I was fed up with asking around and left. I emailed Panera about the issue and they only told me they were going to work on the it, I was not compensated with at least a gift card of my meal's value. That is disgraceful, I didn't receive parts of my order that I paid for, that's theft. I will never come to this Panera again and most possibly any one ever considering how corporate managed the matter. read more

This place does does not respect your online orders for bagels. I ordered a "Bagel Pack" which comes with 2 of the big cream cheese tubs online 1 day before !! Keep this in mind, everything was available when I placed my order. Next day, I come to pick up my order and they tell me certain bagels ran out along with the cream cheese tubs that I had ordered and were paid for already. I dont know who manages this store but they do a poor job at it. If I'm a manager I will make sure ALL of my online orders are fulfilled first thing in the morning before selling all of the rest of the bagels and cream cheese tubs. I sure wont be placing anymore orders here let alone eat here until they learn how to respect their online customer orders. read more

Love their food. This is the second time I go to this location since it opened. I placed an order on the drive tru a few minutes ago. I'm asked if I want to apply a $2 off coupon my account has for the you pick 2. Ofcourse I want to use it. It doesn't get applied & still get charged. I tell the girl that she didn't honor it and gives me $2 cash. She says "thank you, have a great day" without me getting my food. I let her know that I still haven't gotten my food. I wait and get my food. I ordered a hot chocolate and don't get it so I'm still at the window. Another girl comes and asks if I'm missing anything. I say yes, my hot chocolate. Minutes later, she comes back with a dirty cup. I tell her that it's dirty. She goes back and puts the dirty cup inside another cup. The lid is also dirty. I tell her that it's dirty. Today is the first time I go to Panera Bread & I left really disappointed. I went to Panera so my wife, kids & I could have a nice enjoyable lunch . Honestly the food was but the training cashiers get is not good at all. They do not know how to explain menu items they have . First of all I had ordered a sandwich & I saw that it said the price was 5 and some change . I asked the cashier what came with the dish for that price, she specifically told me that it was half the sandwich and a soup, so I'm over here thinking OH WOW THATS A GOOD DEAL, so I went ahead and ordered two of those . Turns out you don't pay that price for what seemed like a little combo, you pay about $6 for HALF a sandwich but you pay for the soup it DOES NOT come with it. I don't know if this girl was new but she did not explain right . I for sure was new to this place & it's the last time I go. We went for a nice light lunch & ended up paying like $45 we could of totally had a better lunch somewhere else for that price. Anyway for anyone else that's new to this spot the choose two deal is not really a deal . So so disappointed. If I would of know that was the case I would of just stuck with my sandwich . let me start off by saying that my boyfriend and i eat panera whenever we get a chance, i'm a big fan of the broccoli and cheddar soup. i will ONLY get this kind of soup from panera. we did an online order because i was sick and wanted some soup. we originally had ordered at another location but they didn't have soup so we reordered at this location. let me also say that this is not the first time that we've done an online order here. the only reason why this location gets two stars is because i got extremely sick from eating the food here. i'm not sure if it was the soup or the sandwich that made me sick, but it was either or. i almost had to take a trip to the hospital of how sick i got. it was very disappointing because i've never had a bad experience with panera until now. they need to be careful with who's making the food and if they're cooking it right because my boyfriend got sick as well, but not as bad as i did. read more
