Received order in a timely manner, got home opened up the bag to find sandwiches that looked like my 4 year grandkids put them together. Opened the soup, and forgive me if I'm wrong but isn't baked potato soup supposed to be creamy? Looks like they were running low and just added a lot of water. Come here often (I work here) I don't recommend coming here because of sanitary reasons. Flies in food,dishes not cleaned properly, tables always dirty, cockroach problem that they've had for many months and have yet to do anything about it. Terrible service. Panera is fast casual dining. They serve great sandwiches made with quality meats and cheeses and soft, fresh-baked breads. Bagels are fantastic. I get a few to-go and have them on hand for quick breakfasts at home. My kids love the white cheddar mac-n-cheese and the chicken noodle soup. The pastry/dessert display case is reason enough to go. Try the perfect shortbread cookies. They are flaky, rich and soft. Don't go here for the service, you'll be disappointed. Lunch and dinner time means a wait to order and the staff have made me feel more like a burden than a guest on multiple occasions, but I keep coming back for the food ... And the drinks. As you'll see, I gave the Southlake location two stars - thinking they haven't taken the picture of Hitler down as of yet. I think that's a training store. This is our 'new' Panera. The Soufflés are far better, as they make them the correct way here vs. trying to skimp on the ingredients like they do in Southlake. Friendly, a little cleaner and faster + better service up front. The reason I'm posting this review is because I recently learned that the manager of this location transferred over here from the S'lake location about a year ago. That's why Watauga puts S'Lake to shame. Two thumbs up to whoever the manager is at this location. It's still Panera though. Panera is OK + more upscale than fast food of course, but again - it's still Panera, but it's better than Southlake for sure. Also note that this is a 'racially friendly' restaurant (or diversity friendly, whatever you want to call it), not like that Seven Mile Cafe embarrassment up the road. read more

I love this place for lunch! They have a great you pick two combo that is very affordable and delish. I recommend any of the salads. All of them are very healthy and taste wonderful. The soups are always good too for the cold weather. You cant come here without having the green tea though, I think its a secret or something bc not a lot of people know about it. Service complaint only: My wife and I eat here quite often but yesterday we dropped in for lunch and was terrified by what we observed by the one server who was emptying the trash, filling up drink dispensers and clearing the tables and "raking" the food into the trash containers all the while picking up and delivering customers food to their table. ( with those dirty hands ) right in the middle of the worst flu season since 2008 !! The manager was there and said nothing to this employee about this gross activity ! I love panera. However, I chose the deliver to my car pick up today and they never came out. Which is no big deal. I just went inside and got my food... but then I got home to see that the Mac and Cheese is not the same as it normally is and my cesar dressing for my salad was BARLEY filled up in the container. :( Hopefully things will get better at this location. read more

I love Panera. Usually. But this was the worst trip I've ever had at a Panera, and I've been here before without issue. Not this time. Tried ordering at the fast lane kiosk. Shut off when we got to the end of our order. Went to counter to reorder. Girl at front seemed like she wasn't sure how to input some of the orders, and annoyed we customized parts of our order. Took forever, got it mostly right so we just moved on. Food comes out, and clearly there was no care put into the prep, messy and skimped out on a lot.. like a fruit cup should be filled with fruit, not half full with one pineapple chunk and one grape.. embarrassing. Turkey bacon avocado barely had any turkey or bacon... mostly lettuce and tomato, and tons of mayo. Weird. We had three pick twos and it was over $40... for lunch, sooo not worth it. I have visited this location in the past month twice; once for lunch and now for breakfast. During my last visit, service was considerably better, food was prompt and delicious (as I would expect of a Panera Bread)! The real test in changing my rating for this location was the breakfast rapid checkout service. Previously I have been let down but this time was a complete opposite experience. Everything I ordered was ready, exact, and complete. All the food was delicious and fresh and pastries order were on the bag as well ready to go. Wanted to give Panera bread a try. Went in expecting to order their turkey, spinach and egg white power sandwich but apparently we missed breakfast by 30 mins, so that was disappointing. They were out of the coffee I wanted, disappointing as well. The tables that were empty were dirty. My sandwich was too greasy. Probably never going to a Panera bread again. Worst customer service experience at this location. We ordered some bagels and spread to go. They did not have the kind we wanted and had a very limited variety and we had to change our bagel order. Than they did not have the spread we wanted and gave us anither kind not even Panera brand. So we are sitting there and nothing is happening for 15 minutes. Many other customers came and got their orders. After enquiring thay said 2 minutes. Another 10 minutes go by so I go up again asked about our order. This time the girl goes back and picks a bag that had been lying there for 20 minutes and apologizes. I asked about the spread and she says it is at the bottom. Nothing was there when I checked. Again she goes back, brings the cream spread and said, oh I thought it was there. I have been a regular at this location but NEVER going there again. They deserve zero stars. read more

I went here for lunch today and I wont be going back ! First off the girl at the register didn't know what I was saying and at the end she firgured it out. When the guy came with my food he walked right pass me and tried to give it to other people. Instead of asking me first then going to them I guess I was invisible and black at the same time. So I had to say helllo is that my food? I mean he was Not going to turn around and ask me wow! To top it off they didn't cut up the avocado they just put a big chunk on the baba bowl (really). Great spot for healthy and hearty food with attentive and personalized service! Cedric and his team made my and guests feel welcomed and catered to our every need. They checked with us periodically as we dined to ensure everything was great, and it was! Had the Green goddess salad with chicken and wife and I shared a pasta dish that was delicious! They have really tasty flavored teas that you can get based on how much sugar you want to take in. They even accommodated a special request I had off the menu. First time in this place, and I will not be returning. The dining area of this restaurant is FILTHY. Every single surface is covered in food splatters, even the walls and furniture legs. The chair rail has a quarter inch if dust and crumbs on it. Light bulbs are burned out. Slipcovered chairs are so stained with grease that they're shiny on the top. At least 4 tables sat unbussed during our entire meal, and at least that many had obviously been bussed and not wiped down. They have a decent score from the county restaurant inspector, so I feel like the food was probably ok, but I was so distracted by the environment that it ruined my whole experience. They desperately need to get a professional in there to clean. read more

Nice place. Bigger then what i thought. Enough choices including a bakery. I came for the firat time with my mom and toddler. I got a whole sandwhich and so did my mom. Both came with some chips and a drink and 1 pastery. My daughter got a grilled cheese kids meal that came with a drink and a yogurt tube. My mother also got soup that came with a piece of french bread. All for 36$.... i gave 4 stars cuz kinda pricey BUT mostly cuz they ask if you want to tip the cashier while having a tip jar...i felt embarrassed that i had to select "no" right in front of the cashier because i couldnt afford a tip (never thought id had to at this place i guess next time i know to bring some cash) nut food was well worth the price.
