Staff were very friendly. Inside they played French instrumental music. Store is super clean and cute on the inside. They offer an extensive selection of flavors of their pasties which includes various macaron flavors, cupcakes, and cakes. I got a cannele, hazelnut financier and a mango iced matcha. The pastries were fresh, soft and mouth watering. The mango iced matcha was a little disappointing due to the bitter after taste of the drink. Looking forward to trying other pastries and other drinks at the patisserie.

There is seating available if you would like to enjoy a coffee or other heated beverage with your sweet treat. There is also the option to place orders for larger pastries, platters, cupcakes, and cakes. The staff working here was very kind and attentive. I opted for a small box that comes with two petite fours and three macarons. The macaron flavors that I tried were the salted caramel, milk chocolate amaretto, and dark chocolate. The petit four flavors that I tried were the red velvet and the triple chocolate. Everything I had here was so beautifully made and tasted fresh. I will definitely be back here again.

It was slightly busy but the line moved fairly quickly. The restaurant has a good amount of seating and a lot of people dining in were simply enjoying their weekend. Unfortunately I had to work so everything was to go for me. I would love to have the opportunity to just dine in one day. I also want to try their Virginia location since that recently opened as well. I'm also still waiting on their rainbow/chantilly filled croissant because it had to be the best pastry I've ever eaten. Would happily return here. Wish they had a punch card for their regular customers.

The Blackberry Pistachio Croissant was flaky and full of a sweet-tart house made blackberry compote and rich pistachio frangipane. For the hot tea, I got Island Mango just on the description - sweet bits of mango, pineapple, orange, safflower & hibiscus. It was served as decaf. Once I let it cool, it had a citrus taste, but not sweet. I am still glad to have tried it and did not have to wait long for the order. Within a block of leaving the business, while holding the hot cup with one hand (the sleeve only helped a little), some of the hot tea spilled on me suddenly (I now have a burned scar on my knuckle). I don't know if the cover was on right, or if my movements made the top come off. I couldn't blame anyone. I did go back and had them replace the top since the other fell on the ground outside. When they say "hot" tea, they are not lying. Moving forward, no more hot drinks for me.

The cakes (which can also be ordered as mini individual sized options) are CRIMINALLY good. I use the work criminal since there is no true storefront for this place since it leads you to a townhouse community. You text Sam at the number listed, he sends you back an email for online payment, and once the order is ready you receive a text indicating it is ready for pickup from an outdoor refrigerator located outside the aforementioned townhouse unit, much like picking up a stash of cash/drugs at an unspecified dropoff location in Grand Theft Auto. Just go on the website to browse the options of cakes which taste as delicious as they are visually stunning. I can attest that the strawberry passion mousse cake and the classic black forest cake are light and airy, not overpoweringly sweet, and the individual components of chocolate, fruit, and cake are high end restaurant quality. If one were planning a heist, usually you need a wheel guy for the getaway, a hacker guy to break into the security system, a conman to talk your way into the location, and occasionally a gunman/strongman in case plans go awry. Good to know I now have a dessert guy to add to my contact list whenever I wish to pick up an amazing dessert like illegal contraband and leave my party starting rumors which high end restaurant I must have frequented to obtain such a showstopping steal.

The seasonal Donuts and the Croissant Tarts keep me coming back! Best Donuts - Pumpkin Pie Donut, Tiramisu Donut, Key Lime Pie, Boston Cream, and Hot Cocoa Nutella donut. The Strawberry and Raspberry have a Jelly/Jam filling. I wasn't a big fan of the Cookie Butter Donut, Cannoli donut, or the Dot Cake Donut, or S'mores donut. The Cookie Butter donut tasted like creamy peanut butter while the Cannoli donut that didn't have the sweet creamy filling that I was hoping for and the Funfetti frosting was a bit off on the Dot Cake Donut (super fun to see all the dot sprinkles on top!). I wish there was more marshmallow filling in the S'mores onut. Croissant Tarts - Both the sweet and savory tarts deliver! The Raspberry Cream Cheese Tart, Red Pepper Feta Tart, Apple Tart, and Everything Tart are all delicious! The classic Garlic Spinach Tart and Shroom Tart are fine. Best Croissants - Christmas Tree Raspberry Croissant, Hazelnut Chocolate Mousse Croissant, Apple Butter Crumble Croissant, Almond Croissant, and Matcha Croissant. The Berry Brioche Tart was fun to try, but not my favorite. The cookies are pretty light and fluffy, the Lemon Cheesecake Cookie tasted like a lemon sugar cookie with no filling. The Kitchen Sink cookie was an interesting blend of salty flavors (chips, pretzels, toffee). For Valentine's Day, the Linzer sugar cookie filled with raspberry jam was delicious! So glad I grabbed the last one by 11am on Saturday! For Mother's Day, there were colorful macaroons. All of the fillings with the donuts and croissants are whipped and pretty light. There's a parking garage next door and you can get parking validated for 1 hour. While there's plenty of seating inside, it can get packed over the weekends. When we arrived, there were a few spaces available in their small parking lot, so we had no trouble parking. The shop is charming. They sell a few select beers and wines so it was fun to peruse them as we waited on line to order. Their menu is on boards behind the counter and they also have paper menus, which is helpful to those of us who need glasses! The staff was super friendly and helpful since I hadn't been there before. A+ to them for offering their coffee/espresso drinks in decaf! I had a vanilla latte and it had a deep, rich flavor. One of the best I've had in the area. For food, my friend had the bagel and lox and it was huge! She had to take half home. I had the garlic Boursin eggs. It was a nice pile of delicately cooked eggs, but I wished there was more garlic Boursin flavor. Still really good. It came with salad greens in a light vinaigrette, sauteed mushrooms, and avocado. Very nice dish. They have a serve-yourself water station and, though they bring out your order to your table, you must go get your cutlery and napkins. They have a nice number of tables for a small place and we were lucky to snag one. Overall, a really nice experience and I plan to go back with my husband next time.
