Emperor Bread
Suchita S.

IT IS SO GOOD!! We ordered online (plus). We got the house favorite and the emperors bread (goat cheese and pepedew peppers). The emperors bread was alright. I'm not sure I would get it again just for the price. The pizza, however, was so good! Thin crust that isn't cracker-like so you could fold it, really fresh tomatoes that weren't mealy, hint of garlic and lots of fresh basil. The 14" was perfect for 2 people. The staff were super friendly. It looks like there are a couple tables to sit at and eat but it's definitely a takeout joint. It looks like they also sell cheese by the slice which is great if you're in the area for a snack. Definitely will come back again

Lasagna

Yummm, I'm always so leery about trying new pizza places but I am so glad I did. We ordered a pepperoni pizza, lasagna, garlic bread, and a brownie. It was a bit pricy but pizza anywhere is ridiculously overpriced these days, at least this one was good. I inhaled the lasagna which was amazing, the right amount of sauce, decent dollops of ricotta, and sooo much yummyness. The pizza and brownies were both delicious and the garlic bread was spot on. I would definitely recommend!

Smores Calzone

I have finally found my new local pizza shop, after living in the area for almost a decade. The pizza is great, with good flavors and plenty of toppings and actual good baked cheese, and while the dessert calzone wasn't totally my thing, it did make for great breakfast the next morning. I do wish they had delivery drivers instead of working with apps, but they're also close enough where I can just go pick up an online order instead.

Breadsticks

The pizza here is great. It's a struggle to find good pizza around but this place hits the spot. Their lasagna and pepperoni pizza were both great. The garlic breadsticks were so simple but so good, I couldn't stop eating. My kids ate almost the entire pizza by themselves so it's safe to say they enjoyed it. For dessert we had a double chocolate brownie, a little sweet for my liking but the kids loved it.

Spaghetti & meatballs

Someone else posted "leftovers can wait" so we jumped in the car ordering their family special. $25 16" 2 topping pizza, spaghetti & meatballs plus garlic cheese bread (inhaled quickly). This strip mall pizzeria is small but offers 2 four top tables and a cooler of cold pop. The two men working tonight were hopping trying to close at 8pm The garlic bread was a 7 out of 5 :) The pizza was a 4 out of 5 Same for the spaghetti &meatballs. 4 out of 5 Open on Thanksgiving for list souls like me with no place to go today. 7 out of 5. We will return.

Pizza Sub

After receiving a few ads in my door, I decided to give this local business a try. The place is super tiny and gives you a small town pizza shop vibe, especially since the employees are so friendly. My boyfriend ordered the cheesy garlic bread and pizza sub while I ordered the spaghetti with meatballs and the Dutch apple calzone. An older gentleman who was working winked at me and said to eat the calzone last or I wouldn't be able to stop. He had a cute personality. The spaghetti was good! It made me think of a home cooked dinner. I would have liked a little more sauce on the pasta and more garlic on the breadsticks though. He was spot on about the calzone - super tasty! The warm cinnamon, soft apples, and crunch of the bread was fantastic. I really liked that it wasn't overly sweet too. My boyfriend said the pizza sub was average. Not bad, but nothing special. Once he got to the center of the cheesy bread. He really liked it. If there was garlic on the crust, it would have been better. Overall, not too shabby! I'd recommend trying it out.

The Perfecto - carmelized onion, prosciutto, goat cheese & homemade fig jam

Wow. Absolutely delicious. I ordered The Perfecto 10 in pizza. The size was perfect for 1 person plus have a few leftover pieces. The crust was crisp & the cheese super melted. I ordered online for pickup and the staff were friendly when I got there. I also got the flutternutter calzone which was SO SO good. I will be returning soon!

Pepperoni Pizza 14 inch

A classic New York style pizza you'll love as long as you remove the grease. In my photo is the astounding amount of pepperoni grease. Do not let that throw you off, it is absolutely delicious. Perfect amount of sauce and cheese. The crust is on the thinner side but not quite a thin crust pizza which makes this a winner.

Small, extra mush, extra cheese

My absolute favorite pizza in Columbus. Hands down. My family is from New York, so that can explain some of it. But the staff is always friendly. I can just get a slice if I want a bite. I need to work my way through the rest of their menu. But I appreciate you all, for all you do here. Thank you! I am the extra shrooms, girl, hubs is sausage, pep, green pep. Both amazing

Tiffany H.

I never thought I would find a grease stain sexy! Their pizza is delicious, service friendly, and best of all around two minutes away from where I live. Nothing negative to say and will be getting pizza from here frequently. Oh and not sure if their blue cheese and garlic sauces are made in house but they are delicious!!

We…read morespent over $80 on a to-go order that included two Gina's Gem, a big cheese pizza, and a salad. The pizza arrived cold but was still edible. Unfortunately, the Gina's Gem was nothing like what was advertised. I was expecting warm, crusty bread with a roasted cheese dip on the side so you could tear pieces of bread and dip them into the cheese. Instead, the cheese had already been spread directly onto the bread and toasted together. Because of that, the bread lost the texture you would expect--it wasn't crusty or dippable at all. It ended up soft, almost soggy, and the cheese was baked onto the bread rather than being a dip. The whole appeal of the dish was supposed to be the warm bread with the roasted cheese to dip into, and that part was completely missing. Included with the bread was a hot honey that missed the mark on being "hot" and some kind of jam. These options just made everything even more soft....which should have been impossible. The salad was actually the best part of the meal - even though it was a bit spicy. I've always had good experiences here in the past, so this was a big letdown--especially for the price. I just wish the to-go version of the dish matched how it's described, or that expectations were set correctly when ordering. Unfortunately, this experience made me lose all trust in ordering from here again. I can't believe we waited until exactly 3pm (when they opened) to order this.... At the very least the pizza should have been hot.

Both pizzas left us speechless as well, I really don't think you can go wrong with whatever you order. Service was great, food was prepared quickly, and there is plenty of seating and a bar area. Can't wait to be back!

The sandwich was honestly the highlight of the meal. It was delicious, and the pizza dough as the bread was such a unique touch that you really don't find at many Italian sandwich spots around Columbus. The pizza itself was just okay. As you can see from the picture, the toppings weren't distributed very evenly, so some slices had mostly sauce with barely any cheese while others had way more toppings and cheese but less sauce. I also wish the pizza had been cooked a little longer overall because it was pretty floppy and doughy. One thing that makes it tough is that once the movie starts, it's hard to go back and ask for changes or anything since the theater is packed and getting in and out of the seats feels disruptive. We'll definitely be back to Grandview Theater because we love the experience overall, but next time I'll probably stick to the sandwiches and popcorn and skip the pizza.

I tried half of the Licensed to Dill which was just okay. Pickles on pizza isn't really my thing. Pesto on pizza wasn't really my thing either, but having half of a an Ecto Pesto changed my mind. Perhaps the chicken and bacon on the pie was what I really liked, but the point is that it all came together surprisingly well. It definitely gave me hope for the more meat-heavy pizza options that I tend to prefer.

The kind of spot where you expect a solid beer and maybe some decent bar food. What you don't expect? One of the best Detroit-style pizzas of your life hiding behind a window in the back like some carb-based speakeasy. And when I say hidden, I mean hidden. No flashy signage. No "best pizza in town" ego. Just a quiet little window cranking out square pies that deserve a standing ovation. I ordered the classic red top -- already a bold move -- and added pesto because balance matters and I like to live a little. The result? Beyond reproach. Fresh, loaded toppings. Sauce with depth. And that crust... that beautiful Detroit crust. Crispy edges with that caramelized cheese halo, but still chewy and pillowy inside. The textural contrast is what separates amateurs from legends -- and this? This was legend-level execution. Easily top 3 Detroit-style pizzas I've had. And that's not a casual statement. If you don't understand the life-altering power of true Detroit-style pizza, I regret to inform you... you have not been living. Go find the window in the back. Trust me.

When I arrived around 10pm on a Sunday night, the place looked like it was in transition to closing (chairs flipped over on tables, no patrons, staff members watching TV in empty booths). However, I was welcomed in to order by the friendly woman at the counter. She answered a few of my questions and when I asked what her favorite was, she immediately said, "Buckeye Garlic Pizza." I took her advice and was also able to add up to three toppings at no additional charge (mushroom, olive and sausage). I took a seat and waited about 10 minutes for my personal 10" pie, which came out hot and with a friendly, "Thank You, Sweetie." I ran the pie back to my hotel and opened up the box. The pie looked amazing. Perfectly crispy outer crust, six cheeses and garlic, along with my toppings. The pie was pretty damn good, with steam coming off the top. The six-cheese blend was interesting, with the dominant flavors being American and Cheddar. The sausage, olives and mushrooms were all fresh and plentiful. Definitely a good option to satisfy my hunger for a late night pizza in Downtown Columbus.

Zero wait because we went on a rainy Friday afternoon. There are picnic tables without shade/umbrellas if you wanted to eat on premises though. We placed our order and waited in the car. It didnt take long at all which was a plus, also. However I took a start off because neither of the employees (both men) weren't very friendly. I don't ever expect much, but I expect the minimum beyond getting my order correct. With that said, here's what we got and what we think! Veggie samosas: 11/10. Holy moly these are the absolute best samosas I've ever had. They outshone the very good pizza. I'd eat 50 of them! Seriously I will go for the samosas alone. They're big, perfectly fried, and filled with the best mashed veg filling, very reminiscent of mashed potatoes. The spicy dipping sauce was like a branston pickle (a spicy vinegary sauce). Half and half Paneer Makhani/Butter Chicken (regular spice level) with a side of Tandoori Ranch sauce: Solid pizza in every way. We both liked the Paneer Makhani a touch more. Neither was spicy at all - next time I will bump up the spice. I loved how chewy the dough is! I get why people say it is a bit on the unsaucy side because it is. That didn't bother me at all, though. The ranch dipping sauce was really flavorful and a nice compliment! Definitely want to try more pizza flavors now. They do have a special for any pizza with 2 samosas and 2 sodas for $26. Good deal if you ask me. You can upgrade to a mango lassi for a couple bucks more. I will try that next time too!
