Awful experience and service. Ordered pizza an hour ago through the my pizza . come said it would be 50 min. I called after 1 hr 20 min to find that papa Johns said they tried to call me 3 times to tell me they no longer carried the pizza I ordered, but left no voice-mail. Instead they claimed to have canceled my order with mypizzaa.com. My pizza was in fact not cancelled. No positive customer service from any part of this. The only offer was to take a new order and wait 50 more min. Complete fail. read more

My wife and I ordered approximately 40 minutes before closing. Had it confirmed, then the door dash driver called 14 minutes before closing and stated Papa Johns was closed. Per yelp, it does not close until Midnight so in the end the employees closed early and we did not receive our order. Unfortunate, I would not ever recommend this place. Went to a friends house to watch the Oscars. We decided to order pizza. This was the worst pizza I have ever eaten. First the order was wrong. The pizza they gave us had a sicking amount of what seemed to be a cream sauce. You couldn't pick it up the topping slid off. The toppings that were on the pizza were buried in the sauce. 9 out of 10 times, this branch delivers oven hot and within the hour. Customer should use the online ordering system, it gives bonus points in the dashboard anyways so you can get freebies and track your orders. If they deliver wrong or with poor quality, you should call in and ask that they correct it. They do and will, it's also a company policy that the order is guaranteed. I've found this to be the best pizza delivery in the Concord city area, tried them all. Between work and school, there really isn't time to go home and cook a good meal. I remember one of my friends telling me her favorite go to pizza place was Papa Johns. So one late night, I called and luckily they were still open! I ordered my usual pizza that I get at other places (sausage and Canadian bacon) and waited. I was so surprised on how fast the doorbell rang! I was so happy mainly because I was tired but still really hungry. The delivery man was very kind and courteous. To my surprise the pizza was DELICIOUS!! As someone that has pizza as a go to meal all the time, I was very surprised and pleased with how it both tasted and how well it was cooked. I love Papa John's Pizza this particular location is the one that frequent the most they are always very friendly and accommodating. They work hard to see that they get your order right and that it's done fast. To me they make making my pizza personal, and I can tell that they do their personal best. The pizza is always fresh I love the ingredients because it has no preservatives our junk and that important because I don't want artificial ingredients but not everyone cares about that, thankfully Papa John's does. So because of this I drive all the way to Concord just to get pizza it's worth it to me. I would like to add that the store is clean which I payed attention to right away because I've been placed that made me question wether or not I wasn't to eat anything that is being made there. But I highly recommend this Papa John's also because if something isn't the way you like or if you are a little particular about your pizza they always go out of their way to please the customer. read more

Two stars because we've had good experiences w them in the past. Yesterday I ordered in the morning for a scheduled delivery at 4 that afternoon. *Lots of forewarning.* At 3:45, got the call that they were running behind and it would be 30 more minutes -- even tho I'd started the process at 10am. Ok things happen. Driver arrived and was very apologetic etc. no worries. Then a few bites in I realized the pie was barely cooked. Most of it stuck to the box and was gooey. Tossed most of it. I've been sick today and can't help but think it was the undercooked dough? Nice people but never again. read more

I have never tried Papa Johns Pizza before so I was excited to finally give them a try at the new Concord location. There were about 10 people ahead of me in line waiting to pick up or place there order. I waited almost 30 minutes just to place my order and then was told it would be another 40 minutes for my pizzas to be ready. I decided to wait since I already committed enought time already. My pizzas were done 35 minutes later and one of the pizzas was made wrong. I so I demanded to have another one made. Since I had been waiting now for over an hour, I asked to use their bathroom and was horrified to see that they had open bags of Chicken and Bacon just sitting on the back counter not refrigerated. I was thankful that I did not order any of those toppings on my pizzas. We ordered a thin crust Onion, Mushroom and Tomatoe and a classic crust Pepperoni and Mushrooms. The thin crust was dry and flavorless much like cardboard and the classic crust was spongy and bland. My wife and I ate one slice of each pizza and we throw the rest away. Such a major dissapointment. That will be the last time I ever order from them, worst experience ever. Back to Domino's Pizza, our tried and true. read more
