I ordered carry out this evening and I got there about half an hour after I ordered it only to find my pizzas weren't there. They asked around to the employees and one girl said she didn't remember it but there was a manager and a pizza maker that said they remembered making the order. They think one of the delivery drivers must have taken my pizzas on accident. They said they would make them again and to give them 15 minutes. They offered me a free drink while I waited. I took them up on that. I honestly wasn't even that mad about it but am thankful they showed regret by offering something up to make up for the time spent waiting on it. We have gone there plenty of times in the months since we moved here and this is the very first issue we've ever run into and it was handled with so much grace from the entire team. This is what good customer service in the face of something going wrong should look like. Great job! Also the store has a 98% sanitation rating so it means they run a relatively clean restaurant. read more

We love this location. It is clean. The people are kind and hard working. Compared to other chains like Pizza Hut in the area especially. The food is always fresh and prepared beyond my expectations. Carrying out and delivery service has always been positive to us. Pizzas are always great of all kinds. Papa Johns hit right on it for the NY style pizza. Sadly it's a hit and miss with Papa John's. We do like their pizza even though it's a chain pizza much prefer mom and pops places. Decided we wanted some pizza trying to order online at Papa John's.com they had a real nice special buy one get one free but unfortunately the website crashed and we were unable to order it. Not being very far away from the place decided to stop in placed an order but was informed they could not give us the buy one get one free special that was on the web. Explain to them that the website crashed and we were unable to order using the web but it didn't matter we had to order whatever their in-store specials were instead which were considerably much more. Sounds to me like very bad business practices both at the corporate level and at the franchise level was seriously disappointed they was not able to honor the buy one get one special. Papa would be less than pleased to find out what kind of business is taking place in this E- City za' shop. Ive never worked at a pizza shop, however, i do know that when a customer makes an order, placing the order is crucial for it to actually happen. A pizza that was suppossed to be delivered to my home several nights ago never made it, and after calling 70 minutes later to find out which county my za' had travelled to, I was to find out it wasnt even placed. Not only was this the worst pizza I've ever gotten from Papa Johns, it may be the worst pizza I've ever gotten period. 1st.... It tasted undercooked. 2nd....it wasn't even cut properly or thoroughly. 3rd.... Everything just slid off the dough and 4..... Not sure if they usually offer the packets of parmesan and crushed red peppers here, but we didn't receive either. My husband and I both got 1 slice out of it, after having to tear it apart ourselves, and really tried to get a 2nd slice out of it but just slopped all of the contents back in the box to take to the trash. We had deals with Dominoes we could've used but chose Papa Johns because we've always had better experiences, this unfortunately is not one of them. read more

I agree with Shea B.'s review. The staff at this Papa John's is terribly rude. This is the second time in about six months I've had an exchange of words with one of the managers. He'll never give me his name, but he's argumentative, self-righteous (more so than a 40-50 year old pizza place manager has a right to be), and rude. The first incident was concerning my desire to add to the tip of an elderly gentleman delivery driver. I had initially tipped him, but after thinking about it, wanted to tip him more. A man of his age shouldn't have to deliver pizzas, so I wanted to be generous. The manager had the nerve to argue with me when I wanted to stop by and leave an additional tip specifically for the delivery guy. This time, I was confronted with an alleged corporate policy against accepting $50.00 and $100.00 bills at the store for a take-out order. A call to the corporate office confirmed that it is not, in fact, a corporate policy, but may be a franchise policy. Nevertheless, the sign was not there when I last picked up an order a month or so earlier. This same manager argued that it had been posted for six months or more. The policy may have been in effect then, but it was certainly not posted. While I understand this policy, I can not abide by the attitude I received from the cashier and that same manager. I was told, in a very unprofessional tone, "Go make change or you can't have your pizza." Seriously? No, "I understand and am sorry, but ... ." Look, I don't get to stand around all day in an air-conditioned building making food an assembly line. When I get off and have a craving for pizza, I want to go in, get something hot and ready-to-eat, and not have to deal with someone telling me they can't accept legal tender at the store (delivery drivers, I understand) and to go make change. To the owner of this franchise, if this is your policy, re-examine it. Furthermore, fire this detriment to your organization and hire someone tactful and personable. Until then, not only will I not buy from this store anymore, I will strongly encourage others to do the same until this guy's attitude (and those under him assuming his behavior is acceptable) is changed, or he's canned. read more

I ordered a Large Two toppings pizza and cheese sticks. Hot, Fresh & Delicious. The facility was clean and their customer service... great. I would recommend this papa johns to others looking for great carry out &/or delivery pizza.
