Would give a zero if I could! Completely unprofessional and would not answer the phone! Did an online order and had my son go pick up the order. After waiting several minutes, he was told they were understaffed and it would be another 20 minutes. Keep in mind, this is already after the expected time. I told my son to just come home, as we had family over for the UFC fights. Not a big deal, we can order from somewhere else. I waited on the phone for a while, see attached. I tried to cancel the order and they refused to cancel it. My son told the guy, "hey we waited for over 45 mins is there something you can do?" He was told no. He came home with a cold pizza. 100 percent BS and completely unprofessional. Never again from this place. Good job Papa John's... you've lost another customer and I've been loyal since you've opened in Canyon Hills. Stay away from here, zero customer service and no online support if you have an issue with the order. Wasted money on cold pizzas and two trips to receive. Absolute BS. read more

Wanted to try a new pizza place and thought we'd give Papa John's a try. To say we were disappointed is an understatement. Ordered a large pizza with extra sauce and a side of wings for $60+. The pizza didn't have the toppings we asked for. We asked for extra sauce and it's as if they heard no sauce. The dough of the pizza was more like cardboard than doughy. When asking the employee to fix it, he said it's fine the way it is. We asked someone else in line if this looks like the pizza we ordered and he said absolutely not. We were completely disappointed with the service and the food. Especially for being over priced. Sad to say that was the first and LAST time we try Papa John's. If I could give a negative star I would. If you cannot do delivery from this location, you should probably not allow the delivery function. I ordered a pizza at 5pm. Delivery said it would be here at 7pm. Ok, 2 hours. Yikes but ok. It's Friday. I get it. I check the tracker throughout. Still good to go, then at 6:40, store cancels my order via the app. They don't call me, no alert of the cancel, no reason given. It just says call customer service which I would have been happy to do but they don't provide a phone number. Total joke. Never will I order again. Period. Papa Johns is always hit and miss on food. Especially the Pizza. When the order intake asked if we wanted to order a Shaq-A-Roni Pepperoni Pizza, we said of course. Who doesn't love Shaq. If Shaq sponsers Papa Johns, the pizza must be good. Right ? OMG, what a mistake that was. Then on top of it, we ordered some bone in chicken wings. Another mistake. What has gone wrong with the food industry? We pay so much, for so little or cheap food. The wings looked like they came from Pigeon legs and the pizza, there was enough grease to lube my car and garage springs. It was aweful. My wife and I were very disappointed, one pizza, 8-wings plus a tip, $45 bucks. I had better and I hope Papa Johns will try and do better. Pizza ended up in the trash. read more

Always great service. I had a bad experience with a DoorDash delivery dropping off my order on ground when asked to deliver to me. She didn't bother knocking or anything. I called to state my concern and Connor was automatically understanding and helpful. He showed so much empathy for the situation and he handled it as if it was his own experience. I am so grateful for employees like Connor. He helped my situation that night and made it less of a problem for me. read more

I don't know why all the bad reviews. Each and every time ordered my food was hot and tasty. The service was great each time I picked up my pizza. I know businesses can have an off day and some employees aren't worth their weight in aluminum. But so far the have had a great experience. My grandchildren really love it when they visit from San Diego because they know PawPaw lives right up the street from pizza! But I get it! Sometimes you just have to drop the bomb and say "Hey, get your act together we have to eat this sstuff!" Great for them and great for me quick fast and in a hurry! The world is in such a sensitive and critical position. I say relax. Be nice. Show love and understanding. Life is hard enough. Workers that deserve a pay on the back you should go ahead and give them a pay and say something nice for a change. Don't always have to be the public fool just because your order was wrong. Can I just say, the level of customer service I received tonight was so surprising. I am sad I did not catch the gentleman's name but, he quickly grabbed my order for me, place additional sauces/cheese and peppers in a plastic bag for convenience, and held the door open so I would not struggle on my way out. We just got the double cheeseburger pizza, ultimate pepperoni and two papadias. Quick note - whoever is cutting the pizzas over there needs to get a sharper knife. Neither pizza was cut through I don't know if it is their cheese, but there is a weird tang taste to EVERYTHING. It is not appetizing. I hope we aren't going to get sick. Five months without repairing an air conditioner is practically inhumane considering our intense summers here in California. We want to support the staff but the staff does not deserve to be working in such uncomfortable work conditions. Please help get the message to whoever owns this location to improve the working conditions for their employees. When it's over 110 degrees outside and we customers step inside this Papa John's, and only experience a fraction of what the employees have to endure, we can't help but feel so badly for them. We walk inside and immediately feels like we can't breathe! It's suffocating. It's horrible to be inside here. I'm impressed! I haven't had Papa Johns since maybe I was a little girl, but I was craving stuffed crust pizza and it didn't disappoint. I got a stuff crust cheese, thought the crust was yummy and the pizza itself was thin. I liked the texture! We also got the pasta deal. Cheesy Alfredo and Oven Baked Veggie Pasta, surprisingly also creamy, not dry and saucy! I would get this again. OfCourse had to get the cinnamon sticks, it served it's duty. Burned once, should have stayed away the second time. Last weekend, I ordered a couple pizzas online, was given the delivery time of about an hour. 2 hours later the pizza showed up cold. I thought, "there's a UFC fight, so I guess they got busy." However, no way to contact the manager to fix it as the phone just rings and rings. This week, I plan ahead and order more pizza for my kids friends over. I tried to schedule but the website didn't work. Upon delivery I present my card and the delivery BOY says you put pay cash. I did not, I ordered by phone and specifically said Im going to pay by card. I said I just have my card. This dude throws a bitch fit. Boy says no. I go inside to see what cash we have, it's short. After I give my mind about taking my card, boy declines my card. This has never been an issue here before. Was hesitant on ordering pizza here because of the reviews, but it's close to home and we wanted pizza after a busy day! Picked up our pizza around 7 on def 2nd, after ordering online! When I got there, they were super busy with 3-4 guys working there ! The customer service was really good, all the guys working there were very polite and our pizza was just as ordered and fresh and really good. We normally get our pizza from mom and pop pizza shops! But I was impressed with this papa John's and just enjoyed the rest for left overs for lunch today ;) I recommend trying their spicy garlic dip ! read more
