Stopped by yesterday while driving around the middle TN area. Our server was the manager, which was…read moreimpressive for me that the manager would step in with a sudden influx of people. The place has indoor and outdoor seating. Overall, it feels more like a pizza joint, but since pizza is one of the big draws that is as expected. There is a small bar area, as well, and they have happy hour during the week. All is well here. Also have pac man and donky kong consoles near a private room on the patio side. Not sure that makes a difference, but it sure feels like pizza places in the 80s to me (showing my age?). I tried the "most popular pizza", the Pizza Maker's special. The pizza is very good. The crust is thin and made on premises. They use corn meal on the bottom which helps both with the crispiness and adding some texture (and a bit of flavor). And don't be afraid to try this even if you are unsure of some of the toppings (like "I don't like olives on pizza") as my friend, who is not a huge olive fan, tried it and was impressed. The flavors meld together and blend well and the cheese and crust add a great flavor base. If I had one complaint it would be the pizza is too rich (first world problems?). This means I could not eat it every day. NOTE: It was a great "cold pizza" breakfast item on the way to work church services at 6 AM. Pricing is not bad and I went ahead and paid $2 to go from 14" to 16" (because why not? Or it was breakfast?) The beer selection is okay (read my other reviews and you will see a trend?). There are some local beers, but if I owned the place I would work a different mix of brews than what is on at the moment. Lagers work well with pizza, especially one that is a bit sweeter; that is where I would go. Okay, nobody asked my opinion anyway and, even being a warm spring day, enjoyed the porter. Service was great and even saw the server with other tables was on top of things. They still have grits on the menu, ala Trueloves, but my understanding is the food has improved since those days. I give this a thumbs up for those wanting pizza in Columbia, Tennessee.

The day before this trip, I decided to start a gluten free diet; since my roommate and his girlfriend are doing it and they enjoy it. When I went to type in gluten free restaurants for Columbia, Tennessee, this was the first place to pop up on Google. The two workers who took our order were friendly and knowledgeable about what I should I get for my pizza. I got the Red 7 Pizza with a gluten free crust and a different type of sausage that doesn't have gluten in it. My fiancée got the Italian Pizza with pineapple. She enjoyed it! :) If we're ever back in the Columbia area, we will be heading to this location.

I have visited Red Seven a plethora of times, and have always been pleased with their service,…read moreatmosphere, and quality of food. I had family in town visiting and was excited to take them for the first time. This is a local version of Slim and Husky's Pizza (similar to a pizza version of Subway), where you order at a counter and pick your own toppings. Their pizzas are all individual sized and have such a great flavor. It's perfect for families and kids. They have a variety of bases, cheeses, meats, and veggies-- allowing each customer to choose from a few specialty pizzas or build-your-own combination. Today we made the mistake of visiting on Memorial Day. This was one of the few restaurants open after being out of town, and we were excited to support a local business rather than merely visiting a chain or fast food place. We walked in right at 7:00, exactly on hour before closing, which felt like enough time due to how quick their ordering process is. As we walked in, the two workers behind the counter loudly sighed and exclaimed "Oh great! I just cleaned all of this! This is ridiculous." The boy began to work on a to-go order ignoring us, while passive aggressively throwing items onto a pizza and grunting. He was avoiding any conversation with us, aside from an occasional glare. The girl stood behind him, staring us down. We stood at the counter for about two minutes before either of them acknowledged us. Nobody told us "welcome in" or even "we will be with you in a minute". I waited for someone to speak to me. Eventually the boy got out of the way and we were able to quickly order. Once we finally received service, it felt like we were a burden and the environment felt tense. We were out of the restaurant by exactly 7:30, with still plenty of time before closing. There were only four of us. I have worked in the service industry before and understand the frustration of people coming in right before closing or being rude on busy holidays-- but being rude to your customers one hour before closing just for walking in the door ruined the entire experience for myself and my family. I was extremely disappointed.

I placed an online order for an extramostbestest Italian sausage pizza. Which is supposed to be a sausage pizza, but with extra sausage. There was hardly any sausage on my pizza. Someone read what the order was supposed to be. Made the pizza incorrectly. Took it out. The oven, boxed it, looked at it. And still stamped my order on it for it to be ready to go.
