I ordered online, two pizzas, a thin crust cheese family size and a large Hawaiian pizza, order placed at 5pm will be ready at 5:32pm, I waited for a while. Then I start heading to the drive thru, I get to the window at 5:45pm. Only ONE of my two pizzas is ready. Not the other, why weren't they made together? Who knows. The chick proceeds to tell me to pull around again because it's not ready but it's on the make line. WHY WOULDN'T YOU MAKE IT TOGETHER!! As ONE ORDER!! Because oh I don't know that's what it is one order. There was no I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, the waste of your time. No no. Just move on. I've been meaning to review this place for awhile. Everyone's always so friendly. The pizza is ordered and finished in a timely manner and you're driving home ready to bake it for any time of the day. The only thing that makes this not more than three stars is the pizza. Nothing to do with their toppings (they're always fresh and delicious), but it's the dough. It's the way it bakes, the toughness after a couple hours. The red sauce that they have has a bitter aftertaste too. I used to like them awhile ago, but something's changed over the past couple hours. Kudos to the crew at this location this evening! The parking lot and lobby was PACKED! They were running behind on online orders, the drive thru was just as bad. Everyone on staff kept a cool head and simply kept working. Apologies were offered for the delays, at no time was there a lack of professionalism. My order was placed online for a 5:15 pm, I checked on the order at 5:30 and was told it would be 20 more minutes. I decided to leave and come back. By the time I got back there (I gave them 30 min), the lobby was mostly cleared out, my order was ready, drive thru was still busy, but they really killed it. I think it's a lot of nerve that the woman who handed me my pizza added a tip! she took my credit card, put it in the reader, handed it back to me & said it was going to ask me some questions. The food is pretty good. The staff, as happens with so many businesses, will completely ruin the business. I order a $14 "gourmet vegetarian" and ask that chicken be added to one side and pepperoni to the other.. and hold the mushrooms. What I get is 50% pepperoni only pizza and mushrooms on the other half. A large pepperoni is $5. A large gourmet veg is $14. Essentially, half of the pizza is $2.50 and the other half is $11.50. These are the morons demanding $15 an hour, can't be a coincidence that the place is directly next to a pot shop. read more

Take and Bake pizza at its finest. We are really digging their new healthier de-lite pizzas, especially the Greek style, that has the feta cheese, spinach and chicken. Very good. They also have a very convenient drive-thru option, so you can call in a order, and just pick it up. I ordered online today for pickup at/after 3:30PM so my husband could pick it up on his way home from work. He gets home, and we have an entire pizza missing. I called the store, and lo and behold they have my missing pizza. So I inquire about my options and she offers to have it ready with a free side. The problem is, we live over 20 minutes away one way, so by the time I get there and get home, almost an hour has passed, which completely defeats the purpose of me ordering this. I ask if she can just refund me for the missing pizza, and she says no, it's against their policy. The only other option is for a discount on a future order.... But I have to go to the store for that too. So if I'm going to the store, why wouldn't I just pick up my pizza? That policy is completely ridiculous, and 100% not helpful and I guess we won't be ordering from here again if this is how they respond to a mistake on their part. read more

Nice people, very enthusiastic, and whoever manages the hiring seems to actually think about this whole concept of "customer interaction" as a positive. The pizza is good, of course. If it wasn't, I wouldn't be driving out of my way, even if they are really sweet about telling my kids what they're doing with the pizza at each point. Make sure you listen when they read back your order; if you can't understand people on the phone with background noise (they're always busy, no matter how fast they churn out pizzas!) then you should probably use the website to place your order. read more

I love the convenient drive thru pick-up at this location. We come here at least once a week. Papa Murphy's is my family's favorite pizza. Always so fresh and tastes great. My 7 yo girl with Autism will only eat the Papa's favorite Pepperoni. She will not eat pepperoni pizza from other places. Also, I am impressed by the friendly and professional workers. I have encountered many young workers at other restaurants who don't seem happy with their job. Everyone here is always great. We get great customer service at every visit. read more

If you have an issue with this store, don't expect the manager to handle it professionally. She will go out of her way to tell you that you're wrong. You would think that management would be trained to at least give you their name before they condescendingly tell you that a system error on their website is your fault. I suppose I had heard of this take and bake concept, but I had never tried it before I visited Tacoma. The pizzas are fairly inexpensive for getting a fresh out of the oven - your own oven - pizza. Apparently this chain is all over the country, even in Indiana but Chicago doesn't have one. Chicago has a place like this that is a gourmet type place and I know that they charge WAY more for their pizzas. We had a couple types including I believe: garlic chicken and the greek. I really want one in Chicago, so hopefully a high up will hear my Yelpy cry and open one up in the Wicker Park area of Chicago? Please? read more

been eating here about twice a week since 2010. New employees are trained by experienced co-workers, and mistakes are corrected as they are made. Have never taken one home to cook that wasn't the way I ordered it, because I go inside and watch while they make mine. I've ALWAYS had good service from their crew even during rush times before Games on TV or Fridays when it's really busy. Maybe because I am not on my cellphone when I order or interact with the staff. OccasionaIly , when I have company I order multiples and still get out the door rather quickly. I am a former Restaurant Mgr.(not a pizza chain) and have eaten in restaurants on 3 continents and more countries than I can remember. Papa Murphy's is the only place I will buy pizza... It's not the food that gets the 2 stars, the pizza is definitely 4 stars for me...WHEN it's made right!!! I usually order 1/2 and 1/2-Gourmet veggie and either Hawaiian or Murphy's favorite. About 50% of the time it's not 50/50 on the pizza. It's 60/40, 70/30-pick a number. I have no idea WHAT the problem is or what's so difficult about 1/2 and 1/2-they should have some kind of template so they KNOW what 1/2 IS for crying out loud. Tonight was the last straw, I called back and got the number for the franchise headquarters and I left a detailed and angry message. Let's see if they even bother to call back. BUT I"M NOT STOPPING THERE-I'm going to find the corporate number and call them and see what they have to say. It really shouldn't be so very difficult to make a half and half pizza should it? Christian was very patient and very nice when I called and didn't hesitate to give me the number so kudos to him for not trying to argue with an extremely irate person. Another bit of info is that the person who took my order-Jonathan-ASSURED me that I was speaking to the right person to make sure that I got the 50/50 I wanted as I told him I had had issues in the past, thanks for nothing on that one Jonathan. I went to this location one time and will never go again. Dirty place, long wait for food, bad service, when asked to see management I was ignored. My husband had to call the store from the parking lot to complain to get our food that was ordered and paid for.. They also made the pizza poorly and they had to remake it. People were rude, service was terrible. I will not visit this store again. Instead I'll go down to the store on mountain highway where I found the service is always great. read more
