We love Westside. Not much else to say. It's our favorite place, we take to go often. Only thing that absolutely sucks is Westside pizza as a whole changed their system, so while we had racked up points because how often we go, they changed systems and nothing transferred, so free money just was just thrown away. Which we earned and would've been nice to use. This one closes earlier than the PA one, but we love this one more. Employees are nice, food is great, love that they have deals. read more

We hesitated going to pizzeria that is part of a chain. We expected mediocrity, especially since, as Northeasterns, we are accustomed to good pizza from New York, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. We were VERY pleasantly surprised by the quality at Westside pizza in Sequim. It's made similarly to our favorite place in Providence, R.I.: dough in an oiled pan is allowed to rise, then it's refrigerated. The oil allows the crust to crisp, yet its not greasy at all. Great pizza for a super small town. Loved the Westside pizza and the garlic chicken one the most. Other stuff was good too. Highly disappointed. Near flavorless pizza. Seems hard to even describe pizza as such, but place lacked any quality. Toppings on our "Westside" (Combo/Supreme) were indiscernible, and were skimpy at best. Couldn't even find pepperoni on my pizza after four slices. Sauce was best part of pizza. Crust was average too. Service was good. Facility was clean, but all the TV's were turned off and dark. Another odd fact in a pizza joint. We went in for lunch and they had some pizzas already made. There were four different choices. The pizza was hot and one of the best we've had in a long while. The lunch deal was two large slices and a drink for 7.00. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. read more

We ordered the vegetarian pizza which may have been a mistake. There were lots of vegetables but very little sauce. We would of preferred more sauce. The pizza is thin crust so this is something to consider if you are going to order pizza there. The pizza was good but not spectacular. In my opinion it was somewhat bland. However, this could be because we ordered the vegetarian pizza. Someone suggested we should of ordered a pizza with meat which might of been better. We had ordered to go. What a GREAT pizza restaurant! We went into the Sequin store yesterday, Sat. June 26th around 2:30 ish in the afternoon to purchase a slice as we had never tried Westside previously. A young man was working the counter and greeted us warmly as we walked in. I am so sorry I didn't catch his name. His service alone is worth the 5 stars. The pizza was so fresh and delicious. It's located at the far end of the main town. I was not excepting much but I had 3 hungry seniors that I was chaperoning for the day to feed. Ordered a veggie pizza and it was delicious. The seniors loved it. There was a communication gap when I ordered abd they brought the "gourmet veggie" instead of "veggie" (not their fault) but when I asked for it to be replaced, they did it without any hesitation. Very large portion and super satisfying！Full of cheese and chicken meat. Everything with garlic is super delicious! We drove all the way from north Seattle to Olympic Game Farm, just wanted to grab something to fill the stomach, much better than expected in a small town. We were visiting Sequim as tourists for the weekend and staying at a hotel just a few blocks away. "It's all about the pizza" is the motto. Went on a Saturday night around 7 pm. Pretty crowded, but started to filter out. Pizza was brought to our table (ordered the west Side) and they brought it to the table. Except forgot the "no sausage" part. They immediately remade it with the correct order and brought that one out shortly. GREAT customer service! . We now are huge fans. The taste was great. Nice crisp crust and sides caramelized perfectly. Your pizza game is strong and we look forward to coming back many more times! Your customer service is also on point. First, the good news. The restaurant appeared super clean and a really nice man handled my order. I was excited to try this pizza, but wound up disappointed. I ordered the thin crust pizza with a couple of toppings. The pizza tasted real salty to me. There was hardly any discernible sauce, and the toppings are all placed underneath the cheese, so instead of the pepperoni, being a bit crispy on the edges, it was just sort of wet tasting. This five-star review is a reflection of how appreciative I am that West Side Pizza took my previous Yelp review to heart and addressed the customer service issues I pointed out. The week after my negative review, we called in our order instead of placing it inside; I could overhear the employee on the phone with a pleasant demeanor, which was an improvement from the unsmiling face we encountered the week before when placing the order inside. After picking up our order we later received a call from the manager, Ryan, to make sure things were okay; he deduced who the Yelp review came from and he deduced right. While I didn't go in to pick up the pizza, I was told the unsmiling employee was not at the counter and the service was improved. This past week I spoke with Ryan when we went in to place our order and I was very happy to see a smiling face behind the counter. Ryan told me how they handled the issues with staff training and that they didn't take the review lightly, which is the most any customer could ever ask for when bringing issues to a business's attention -- to have the issues addressed and to be contacted back. Ryan also gave us 'no charge' on our pizza, which was a wonderful surprise; thank you! When businesses I regularly give money to ignore my customer service complaints and don't contact me back, that is when they lose my business, either regularly for a time or permanently forever. That's why I am so glad that West Side Pizza saw the review (as I guessed they would since the account was claimed) and took action to address the issues, because I like going to West Side! That sends the message to me that I matter as a customer and that they want to keep me a happy, returning customer when I point out something is substandard. Already I have seen the improvements; the first week when calling the order in, the demeanor was pleasant on the phone and no unsmiling people at the counter; and this last week with a smiling face at the counter when we walked in; along with an open dialogue that has been started, so now I know to talk to Ryan in the future if I have concerns about anything. It may seem small, but seeing a smiling face greet me as a customer wins me over in a big way, along with knowing I can go to the manager to have my concerns addressed so that I can remain a happy customer. Westside Pizza is a regional chain so you'll find these across Washington. The Port Angeles store makes amazing pizza so I decided to try the Sequim shop. Just as good! It's a smaller seating area but still plenty of seats. Lots of TVs and they always have a game on and will change it if you ask. Their pizza is bomb. They make their dough every day and you can tell (tastes more fresh than frozen crusts from other pizza delivery places).
