NEW SANDWICH SHOP! There's a new sandwich shop at the Fred and they are making delicious sandwiches with fresh ingredients. The space is small but they have a few chairs and you can take your sandwich and eat in the community space at the Fred. They have named all of their sandwiches after different school themes, like the Hall Pass. I tried the turkey sandwich with arugula, whipped ricotta, and hot honey. The portions are large and you can add chips or fruit. I would love to see a few more sandwich options offered in the future as they get more established. Don't forget to get a cookie at their shop next door Chewks!

Excellent sandwich spot!!! New hidden gem at The Fred!!! Same owner from Chewks cookies at The Fred. Italian inspired schiacciata bread sandwiches, each with its own amazing and unique flavors, meats, cheeses and ingredients. Large portions!! 5 different sandwiches to choose from. Friendliest, most welcoming staff!!! Mostly a takeout spot. Several bar stool/side counter seats and outside seating available in the courtyard!!

This is a cute new sandwich spot at the Fredrick! The sandwiches looked so beautiful I knew I had to try. I'm vegetarian so I got the field day, which is similar to a caprese sandwich but with a couple extra things on it. I loved the Parmesan crisp on it especially. My son got a pb&j. Staff was incredibly nice. Maybe it's because they just opened but we went around 10:45 and it was already starting to get busy and we had to wait a little. Not crazy long, but longer than you'd expect! So would probably avoid coming during a lunch rush. There is some indoor seating but it's a small spot so we enjoyed our food outside in the shade! It's a little bit pricey at about $15 per sandwich, but they are very hearty sandwiches, mine was enough for 2 meals. Would come back!

Hunter did it again! I was slightly worried with all the food influencers flooding my Instagram with videos of this place that it was going to be incredibly overhyped, but no, that is just marketing done right. This sandwich was crunchy, creamy, buttery, and delicious! I don't know what was the best part; the bread, the Parmesan crisp, or the fresh produce. Even with the storefront being new, the line was quick and the staff were friendly and efficient! Eat it on the patio at the Fred and enjoy a real lunch break.

I had the Hall Pass. Very average. Nothing exciting, nothing to recommend. For $15 I won't be back.

I went with the bang bang burger and kale salad -- a side comes with the lunch sandwiches. I was hesitant on kale but she mentioned it gets great feedback and I am glad I tried it! The kale salad has citrus and other goodies in it (sorry, I forget what!) and the kale wasn't tough at all. The dressing is lightly sweet and refreshing. Definitely recommend! The bang bang burger was delicious and filling without being overly heavy. They also had cans of local beer - Huss Blonde and Papago Orange Blossom - and a couple of speciality cocktails, along with various canned and bottled non-alcoholic drinks and fountain drinks. Its a cute shop with a patio and one side was open to the nice weather. A woman stopped to check in - I think she was the manager - who was really nice. Looking forward to coming back for a breakfast sandwich! (And more kale salad)

Service was great. We were approached by a woman who answered any questions we had and even gave recommendations. This place rocked!

I read that their parking lot fills up quickly but that there's a public lot across the street, so I parked there and crossed over. This cozy restaurant was fairly busy and we perused the pastry case while waiting in line, lots of tempting treats. My friend ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes which are topped with blueberries. A lot of their menu items have pork in it, but they were good about substituting. The burrito usually has schreiners chorizo, hash browns, cheddar, sunny egg and chili oil with side of salsa verde. I asked for avocado instead of the chorizo. We brought our own drinks so didn't order any. We grabbed a table on their patio since the sun wasn't over our heads yet. It's nice out there and I think they have some fans going to keep the air flowing, and there was also a natural breeze. Our food came out and they were plated beautifully. My burrito looked good, but it had too much hashbrowns and also there wasn't any chili oil, which was a bummer. Maybe they normally put it on the chorizo so they forgot to add it to my avocado. The egg was runny which I like: The salsa verde was delicious; I love cilantro and it had great flavors. I tried the pancakes and they were fairly rich but I liked the tart lemon flavor and the blueberries, one of my favorite fruits. This is a nice place to meet up (small groups) and I'm glad I visited again.

My guess is that your spec is al dente which is more crunchy than fork tender. If that is truly how it is to be presented, I will bypass the roasted veggies in the future. Like I said it was my very first time doing a Yelp review and ever ordering from the original Chop Shop. Also FYI my name is Amalia, not Amelia. Thanks for the response. I ordered thru door dash the spicy Korean bowl with roasted veggies and sweet potatoes. 2/3 of the bowl was obnoxious pieces of broccoli that were basically raw. I pulled out 99% of the broccoli and I was left with very little to enjoy. The beef was very tender and flavorful and the sauce was amazing with the sweet potatoes. Just disappointing about the roasted veggies because I believe there was some kale in there and some matchstick carrots but the ratio was uneven and the broccoli was inedible. Just passing it along as someone who's worked in the food service industry for over 40 years. . I have never liked Yelp because people abuse it. I'm just leaving constructive criticism.
